Definitions
- the invention relates to a punched knitting tool for textile machines, in particular knitting or knitting machines, with a shaft that carries at least one foot and in which at least one free space is formed, which with a heterogeneous material, especially a plastic, is filled, which is firmly connected to the shaft.
- latch needles there are latch needles, Pointed needles, needles, needles without a tongue, for example Plush hook for the manufacture of plush goods and to understand boards and the like.
- DE-PS 3 314 809 is a punched knitting tool of the type mentioned in the known At least one free space is arranged in Shape of an elongated hole is formed, the longitudinal axis aligned parallel or coaxial to the longitudinal axis of the shaft is.
- This slot is through two of the Upper shaft edge to the lower shaft edge vertical vertical Guide parts and two connecting them narrow webs bounded, arranged parallel to each other are.
- the clearance is with a vibration damping Material filled in firmly with the needle shaft connected is.
- This vibration damping material is usually made with an elastic plastic material high damping properties, but the use is not excluded from other materials. Embodiments with one or more of them the webs and the guide parts completely enclosed Free spaces are described.
- the Recess can be created with slot cutters, which means gusset-like on the end faces of the recess Result material projections that have the shaft thickness and protrude into the open space.
- the manufacture of such slit-like Deepening is complex. It is also out of the EP-A1 0 282 647 and EP-A1 0 375 843 from the applicant known, the free space-bordering web and / or guide part Areas with profiling or with anchoring means shaped, cone-shaped or lobe-shaped To provide projections.
- the profiling can Have areas of reduced wall thickness that either arranged locally or afforded like all or part of the outline of the space can extend. These areas of reduced wall thickness protrude, just like the mentioned tabs and protrusions, into the plastic material filling the free space and contribute to its positive anchoring on the shaft at.
- the object of the invention is therefore to remedy this and to create a knitting tool of the kind described with a flawless with simplified production Anchoring the respective free space in the shaft filling heterogeneous material on the shaft guaranteed is.
- the knitting tool according to the invention the features of claim 1.
- the shaft is beveled along the edge of the free space, at least in places towards the free space, in such a way that the beveled areas extend in a wedge shape towards the longitudinal median plane of the shaft and protrude into the heterogeneous material filling the free space.
- the bevel on the edge of the free space results in a secure external anchoring of the material filling the free space, in particular plastic.
- the chamfered areas can in particular be embossed into the shaft, which can be done with the aid of a simple, inexpensive stamp which has a long service life. Since the displaced material flows towards the free space during the embossing process, the unembossed shaft areas are not affected by the embossing process. This is particularly important if the space to the upper and / or lower edge of the shaft is limited by webs of low height, the cross-section of which is retained.
- the bevelled Areas delimited to the free space by a fillet are the second internal positive anchoring the material filling of the free space even more Hold there.
- This fillet is used in the stamping process automatically generated because the shaft material is pushed inside towards the free space.
- the Fillet differently, for example by cutting or through an infiltration is created.
- the chamfered areas advantageously have both sides of the shaft have a substantially identical taper angle on, but are also embodiments conceivable, where for special reasons different Bevel angle provided or only a bevel is arranged on one side of the shaft.
- the beveled areas along the Outline of the free space to be local or yourself extend around the closed outline of the open space.
- the the connecting the two webs on the end face, in the Usually semicircular parts of the free space outline can at least in certain embodiments partly without bevels, i.e. unprocessed, be left if this is in view of a cheap Stress distribution in the shaft material expedient appears.
- the slanted areas are also all over this extend curved outline parts of the free space.
- the latch needle shown in FIGS. 1, 2 has a needle shaft 1, which is usually made of steel strip is punched out and two molded on top Feet 2 carries and on one side a needle head 3 connects with the needle hook 4. The one with the needle hook 4 interacting needle tongue is indicated at 5.
- the needle shaft 1 In the needle shaft 1 are in the illustrated Embodiment four in the axial direction from each other spaced through elongated holes 6 punched from which each forms a free space, which in the from the Fig. 6, 7 evident way with a heterogeneous material 8 is filled out.
- the heterogeneous material is with the Shank 1 along the edge of each slot 6 firmly connected. It’s usually made of a plastic, preferably a polyamide-12, polyurethane, polyethylene or polytetrafluoroethylene or the like, but are including non-organic substances, for example of a metallic type.
- Each slot 6 is on its long sides by two parallel webs 9, 10 and on the end face two from upper shaft edge 11 to lower shaft edge 12 continuous guide parts 13 limited.
- Each foot is 2 each supported by one of the guide parts 13.
- the both on the upper needle shaft edge 11 and on the lower needle shaft edge 12 lying webs 9, 10 have a low height of preferably about 1.1 mm and less. Their length is advantageously more than 8 mm.
- the Outline of each elongated hole 6 on the two webs 9, 10 adjacent long sides by essentially straight Lines 14, 15 delimited by two at the end faces semicircular curved lines 16, 17 connected together are, of which the associated in Fig. 3 Radius is indicated at 18.
- the shaft 1 Along the edge of each of one of the elongated holes 6 formed free space is the shaft 1 in sections beveled in towards the free space, like this 3 to 5 can be seen in particular.
- the narrow, strip-shaped, beveled areas are included 19, 20 designated. They are on both sides of the shaft 1 and have essentially the same everywhere Bevel angle 21 on the one shown Embodiment is 35 °. It can depend on the Shaft thickness 22 and the type of material used 8 as well as the operating conditions and conditions of the Knitting tool can also be chosen differently. With It is preferably in a range from approx. 10 to 80 °.
- the Bevel angle 21 can be on both sides of the shaft 1 also have different sizes, whereupon the For the sake of order.
- the bevels 19, 20 in the illustrated Embodiment in its extension each wedge-shaped to the longitudinal median plane indicated at 23 in FIG. 4 of the shaft 1 and run with their (imaginary) The apex line lies on this median plane. They are too Embodiments possible in which this (imaginary) Vertex line opposite the longitudinal median plane 23 to the one or the other side is offset. Can too the beveled areas 19, 20, which are in the present Traps are the same width, different from each other Have width.
- chamfered areas 19, 20 are towards the free space each bounded by a groove 27 which is arranged symmetrically to the longitudinal center plane 23.
- each slot 6 The free space limited by each slot 6 is how already mentioned, with vibration-damping plastic material 8, which, as can be seen from FIG. 7, is flush with the two shaft side walls.
- the beveled Areas 19, 20 and the fillet 27 protrude into the material filling 8 into it and thus result in the the slot-bound plastic is a form-fitting Anchoring.
- the fillets 27 form one additional second anchoring means. They are too Embodiments conceivable in which preformed plastic parts pressed into the elongated holes 6 and in these are positively anchored on the edge.
- the bevels in the beveled areas 19, 20 are stamped onto the shaft 1.
- stamp which in his Length is matched to the respective elongated hole 6 and the bevelled areas 19, 20 corresponding partially has circumferential bevels 29.
- An arrow 30 indicated stamping process is the shaft material at the outline of the elongated hole 6 in each case pushed, the groove 27 forming at the same time.
- the practically the whole outline of the slot 6 enclosing beveled areas 19, 20 result in a excellent anchoring of the plastic 8, being a local breakout is prevented.
- the cross section of the two webs 9, 10 are retained during the stamping process and offers no break point approach.
- the latch needle thus has a very low coefficient of friction in the needle channel of the assigned needle bed.
- 9 shown in detail modified embodiment extends the beveled Area 19 each over the entire closed Outline of the free space delimited by slot 6. Deviating from the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 7 but is the two straight contour lines 14, 15 on the front connecting semicircular outline 16 and 17 (which are indicated by dashed lines in FIG. 9 for comparison is) by an essentially partially elliptical Outline 17a replaced, the paragraph in the straight Outlines 14, 15 merges.
- This training better stress distribution when the latch needle is loaded in the area of the front ends of the free spaces achieved, which contributes to the fact that the webs 9, 10 at their ends a smoother change in cross-section at the transition to experienced elliptical outline 17a.
- Contour lines 17a which are partially elliptically curved can be at each slot 6 may be provided on both end faces, however, it is often sufficient to have just one face train while on the other end partially circular outline 17 is used.
- the partially elliptical Outline 17a can be a foot 2 or the Needle head 3 (Fig. 1) facing.
- Knitting machine needles and knitting tools in general possible, for example, only a single foot 2 and / or have an elongated hole 6, the outline of the of the respective free space also deviating from an elongated hole can be designed, for example in a circular, slot, V-shape and the same.
