Description
The invention relates to a coaxial angle connector for mounting on a circuit board with at least two Coaxial contacts, on the one hand, a plug connection end and on the other hand a connection end for attachment and Have contacting in PCB holes, where the coaxial contacts in one of two partial or half shells assembled, electrically conductive housing block are arranged, the center conductor of the coaxial contacts electrically insulated against the partial shells guided through recesses in the interior of the partial shells are, and wherein a wall is provided between the center conductors is that the center conductors are electrically against each other shields.
Such angle connectors become a plug-in connection of multipole coaxial connectors with one Printed circuit board used, possibly also several of the module-like Angle connector strung together in an insulating housing are provided on the circuit board. there it must be ensured that proper shielding the coaxial contacts, d. H. of their middle leads within of the housing block is present against each other. About that In addition, the modular angle connector should be as possible be small and space-saving.
Coaxial angle connectors are known from EP-A-0 613 215, the one modular, assembled from two partial shells Have housing block in which the center conductor of the coaxial contacts within the block a wall or wall parts are shielded from each other.
With this generally satisfactory arrangement is the shielding wall by two superimposed Partial walls of each half-shell formed. However, it is at the separation or joining point - albeit more closely - there is a gap between the adjacent center conductors, so that the high frequency shielding between the two center conductors is broken and not as optimal and considered sufficient for all applications can be.
The invention has for its object an angle connector of the type mentioned at the beginning that improved shielding of the center conductors of the coaxial contacts within the module-like housing block of the angle connector is achieved.
This object is achieved in that the partial shells one each between the center conductors of the coaxial contacts have trending partition, and that the height the partition walls and their geometric arrangement so dimensioned is that this is with assembled partial shells overlap.
Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind in den
Ansprüchen 2 bis 4 angegeben.Advantageous embodiments of the invention are in the
The advantages achieved with the invention are in particular in that proper high-frequency shielding adjacent center conductor against each other within of the housing block is reached. The improved Shielding is based on the fact that the Joining the two partial shells resulting gap between neighboring center conductors are not straight between runs in the middle, but to a certain extent forms a maze, with a mutual influence adjacent center conductor in high-frequency terms is completely excluded.
To also get a high-frequency radiation from the center conductors outwards (to the outside of the angle connector / housing block) completely prevent can be provided be that a partial shell outer, projecting Has walls that in corresponding recesses intervene in the other shell. Here too is then not a smooth, continuous gap to the outside, but there is a labyrinth. Of course, this also applies prevents high frequency interference from can act on the center conductor from the outside.

aufgenommen sind.1 to 4 consists essentially of a flat, rectangular housing block 1, from the
