Definitions

  • the invention relates to the field of packaging of objects, in particular of objects of current use or of large consumption sold in specialized stores and / or of large distribution.
  • Envelopes for packaging objects are known which are made from a sleeve of heat-shrinkable plastic essentially oriented in the transverse direction and comprising a preferred cutting line.
  • the preferential cutting line produced for example in the form of microperforations, precuts or specific cuts made in the wall of the sleeve, constitutes in addition to a means of opening the envelope, a means indicating d break-in to assure the consumer that no one has been able to use the item before
  • This pre-cut line can be associated with a gripping tab, or even be associated with a tear strip allowing the tear-off opening of the wall constituting the sleeve, by virtue of a traction exerted on a gripping end of said strip.
  • the precut "line” is represented by the edge of the tear strip.
  • labels are offered flexible or pads (pellets), which are self-adhesive (with an adhesive strong enough to resist untimely tearing), and which carry a metallic filament wound in a spiral or arranged in a straight line, this filament being designed to be detected by an electronic surveillance system operating on a magnetic detection principle.
  • the user does not generally deactivate the detection means, which limits the use to objects which are not worn or transported later. by the user (for example, a cosmetic product placed in a bag after its purchase would later trigger the alarm during a subsequent passage in front of the detectors or gates).
  • FR-A-2,605,747 which describes a process consisting in permanently integrating into an object (cassette, CD disc) a resonant flat circuit composed of a coil and a capacitor, which circuit is used inside a gantry emitting an electromagnetic wave at radio frequency.
  • FR-A-2 358 713 describes an anti-theft marker made of ferromagnetic material fixed on the object to be protected, either by providing a layer of adhesive on the marker, or by superimposing a printed label.
  • WO-A-85 02285 describes an alarm system using a tape in two overlapping strips sandwiched between one face of the object and a protective label, the two strips having different magnetic characteristics to neutralize the alarm by magnetization of a strip, thanks to a barcode reader equipped for this purpose with a fork whose branches end in a magnet.
  • the invention aims precisely to solve this problem, by devising a mode of integration of a detection means in a package which provides optimal discretion, while benefiting from the sensitivity of the sophisticated electronic surveillance systems currently available on the market.
  • an object packaging envelope produced from a sleeve of heat-shrinkable plastic essentially oriented in the transverse direction and comprising a preferential cutting line, characterized in that it comprises, on the internal wall of the sleeve, a metallic filament extending at a distance from the preferred cutting line to remain on the envelope after cutting thereof, said filament being arranged to constitute an antenna for an electronic system of surveillance operating on a magnetic detection principle.
  • the sleeve maintains the metallic filament in place, while preventing untimely tearing of said filament due to the lack of grip for a nail or a tool, if it is natural that the filament has been spotted.
  • the metallic filament In the case of a packaging envelope in which the preferential cutting line is arranged along a generatrix of the sleeve, it is advantageous for the metallic filament to be arranged essentially along another generatrix of said sleeve.
  • the metal filament has a length close to the height of the sleeve.
  • the sleeve has an inner flap resulting from its formation by covering and sealing from a flat sheet, which flap extends along a generatrix of said sleeve, it may be advantageous that the metal filament is disposed at the level of the inner flap, between the two wall thicknesses of the sleeve.
  • the metal filament is arranged essentially along another peripheral line of the sleeve.
  • the metallic filament can be glued directly against the internal wall of the sleeve, or, as a variant, be secured to a support strip which is glued against the internal wall of the sleeve. In this case, it could be a self-adhesive backing strip, or a backing strip which is glued with a heat-reactivatable adhesive.
  • Figures 1 to 4 illustrate various examples envelopes for packaging objects made from a sleeve of heat-shrinkable plastic essentially oriented in the transverse direction.
  • the sleeve is referenced 10, and it has a preferential cutting line 11, which can be produced in the form of microperforations, primers, or specific cuts, made in the wall of the sleeve.
  • the object A is a cylindrical bottle coated with a heat-shrinkable sleeve 10 enveloping the transition zone between the body of the bottle and its cap, and a grip tab 12 is provided at one end of the preferred line of cutout 11, tab on which it suffices to pull to cause the opening of the sleeve and the removal thereof in order to use the object.
  • FIG. 1 illustrate various examples envelopes for packaging objects made from a sleeve of heat-shrinkable plastic essentially oriented in the transverse direction.
  • the sleeve is referenced 10, and it has a preferential cutting line 11, which can be produced in the
  • a tear strip 13 is provided at the level of a preferred double cutting line 11, said strip ending in a grip appendage 14 on which it suffices to pull to cause the opening of the sleeve, and the removal of it.
  • Figure 3 illustrates a sleeve of the same type, which is retracted on an object of non-cylindrical shape.
  • FIG. 4 finally illustrates a sleeve retracted on a non-cylindrical object, the preferred cutting line of which, here associated with a tear strip, is arranged along a peripheral line of the sleeve, unlike the examples illustrated in FIGS. 1, 2 , 3 in which the preferential cutting line was arranged along a generatrix of said sleeve.
  • the packaging envelope 1O comprises, on the internal wall thereof, a metallic filament 16 extending at a distance from the preferred cutting line 11 to remain on the envelope after cutting it, said filament being arranged to constitute an antenna for an electronic monitoring system operating on a principle of magnetic detection.
  • the metallic filament 16 is disposed essentially along another generatrix of the sleeve 10. It will be noted that the metallic filament has here a length close to the height of the sleeve 1O. As a variant, as illustrated in FIG. 4, for which the preferential cutting line 11 is disposed along a peripheral line of the sleeve 1O, the metallic filament 16 is then disposed essentially along another peripheral line of the sleeve 1O.
  • FIG. 5 shows part of the wall of the sleeve 10 with, visible through transparency, the metallic filament 16 which is here secured to a support strip 15. Also shown in this figure is a tear strip 13 provided in the vicinity of the preferential double cutting line 11, as a reminder that the metal filament 16 is then completely separated from such a tear strip 13.
  • the external wall of the sleeve is denoted 10a, and its internal wall 10b.
  • FIG. 6a makes it possible to distinguish the metallic filament 16 which is integral with the support strip 15, being here embedded therein, said strip being coated on one side with an adequate adhesive 17, which allows its bonding against the internal wall 1Ob of the sleeve 1O, as illustrated in FIG. 6b.
  • the possible tear strip 13 is likewise coated on one face with a suitable adhesive 18, for its bonding against the same internal wall of the sleeve 10.
  • Figures 7a, 7b illustrate another variant in which the metal filament 16 is directly bonded against one face of the support strip 15, this face as well as the filament being coated with adhesive 17 allowing the assembly to be fixed against the internal wall 10b of the sleeve 10.
  • the support strip 15 may be self-adhesive, or alternatively be coated on one side with a heat-reactivatable adhesive.
  • Figures 8a, 8b illustrate yet another variant in which the metal filament 16 is directly bonded by the associated adhesive 17 against the internal wall 10b of the sleeve 10.
  • This variant is however more difficult to implement, given the fineness metallic filament, so that in practice the variants previously illustrated in which the metallic filament is secured to an adhesive support strip.
  • the section of Figure 9 shows, flat, the heat-shrinkable sleeve, which is here of the type having an inner flap 19 resulting from its formation by covering and sealing from a flat sheet, which flap extends along a generatrix of the sleeve 10. It is then advantageous to provide that the metallic filament 16 is disposed at the level of the inner flap 19, between the two wall thicknesses of the sleeve 10, said filament being or not associated with a support strip.
  • the adhesive 17 then used at the inner flap serves both to hold the metal filament, and to seal the two edges of the sleeve.
  • the tear strip 13 with the preferential double cutting line 11, and it can be seen that the metal filament 16 is again completely separated from the tear strip 13.
  • such a detection means integrated in a packaging envelope can facilitate the management of the packaged products. Indeed, we can take advantage of the fact that the resonance wavelength directly depends on the length of the metallic filament used, by organizing classifications into groups of products or distributors thanks to a choice of predetermined different filament lengths, groups each of which is immediately recognizable by the resonance wavelength associated therewith. We thus obtain a real traceability of the packaged products, and this without in any way complicating the packaging of these products.
