As a result, liquid adhesive 198 is expelled outward into the interface 210 created by the intimate contact of the first surface 206 with substrate 208.

  • the flap 218 of sheet metal 192 may lie on top of flexible clip 214 as illustrated in Figure 22 or may be broken off such that tab 220 of flexible clip 214 overhangs the remainder of sheet metal tab 218. In either case, it will be appreciated that flexible clip 214 may be compressed while entering the opening 216 and expanded once it extends therethrough. The expansion of flexible clip 214 precludes the reverse movement of flexible clip 214 through the sheet metal opening 214.
  • mirror patch 188 is curved and that surface 206 of fastener body 194 is correspondingly shaped so as to provide a close fit therebetween.

Claims (22)

  1. Befestigungsmittel zur klebenden Halterung, das folgendes aufweist: einen Körper mit einer anzuklebenden ersten Oberfläche, wobei die erste Oberfläche in einer ersten Ebene liegt, einen Behälter in dem Körper und Mittel zum Verdrängen eines Klebstoffes aus dem Behälter zu der ersten Oberfläche, gekennzeichnet durch:
       eine zweite Oberfläche (52, 63, 88, 108, 130), die die erste Oberfläche (50, 84, 106) umfangsmäßig umgibt und in einer zweiten Ebene liegt, die von der ersten Ebene versetzt ist, um in beabstandeter Nebeneinanderstellung über einem Substrat zu hängen, an dem die erste Oberfläche plaziert ist, und eine Ausdehnung aufweist, die ausreicht, um die erste Oberfläche herum einen Raum (56, 90, 134, 110) zum Einschließen von überschüssigem Klebstoff (74, 136) zu schaffen, der aus einer Grenzfläche extrudiert wird, die durch das Plazieren der ersten Oberfläche an dem Substrat gebildet wird, und um versehentlichen Kontakt des Verwenders mit dem darin eingeschlossenen Klebstoff (74, 136) zu verhindern.
  2. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 1, bei dem der Körper (31), einschließlich der zweiten Oberfläche (52), aus einen steifen Material besteht.
  3. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 1, das weiterhin eine effektive Haftmenge eines innerhalb des Behälters angeordneten Klebstoffes (36) umfaßt.
  4. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 1, bei dem die erste Oberfläche (58, 138) Mittel zum Verteilen des Klebstoffs über die gesamte Grenzfläche enthält.
  5. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 3, bei dem es sich bei dem Klebstoff um einen schnellhärtenden Klebstoff handelt.
  6. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 5, bei dem der Klebstoff aus einem Cyanoacrylsäureesther besteht.
  7. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 1, bei dem das Mittel zum Verdrängen (38) einen ersten Teil (44), der sich in den Behälter (34) erstreckt, und einen zweiten Teil (46), der sich über die erste Oberfläche (50) hinaus erstreckt, aufweist, wobei das Mittel in den Behälter verdrängt wird, wenn die erste Oberfläche an dem Substrat plaziert wird.
  8. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 1, bei dem das Mittel zum Verdrängen weiterhin Mittel zum Lenken (48) des Klebstoffflusses von dem Behälter zu der Grenzfläche umfaßt.
  9. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 8, bei dem das Mittel zum Lenken (48) mehrere Rinnen umfaßt, die senkrecht zur ersten Oberfläche liegen.
  10. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 1, das weiterhin einen druckempfindlichen Klebstoff (122, 126) an dem Körper umfaßt, wobei der Klebstoff in der ersten Ebene liegt und in Kontakt mit dem Substrat angeordnet ist, um für das Substrat ein vorübergehendes Halterungsmittel bereitzustellen.
  11. Befestigungsmittel zur klebenden Halterung, das folgendes aufweist: einen Körper mit einer an dem Substrat anzuklebenden ersten Oberfläche, wobei die erste Oberfläche in einer ersten Ebene liegt, einen Behälter in dem Körper und Mittel zum Verdrängen eines in dem Behälter enthaltenen Klebstoffes in eine Grenzfläche, die gebildet wird, wenn die erste Oberfläche an dem Substrat plaziert wird, gekennzeichnet durch:
    eine zweite Oberfläche (108), die die erste Oberfläche (106) umfangsmäßig umgibt und in einer zweiten Ebene liegt, die von der ersten Ebene versetzt ist, um in beabstandeter Nebeneinanderstellung über dem Substrat zu hängen, an dem die erste Oberfläche plaziert ist, und eine Ausdehnung aufweist, die ausreicht, um die erste Oberfläche herum einen Raum (110) zum Einschließen von überschüssigem Klebstoff zu schaffen, der aus der Grenzfläche extrudiert wird, um versehentlichen Kontakt des Verwenders mit dem darin eingeschlossenen Klebstoff zu verhindern; und
    eine Wand (120), die den von der zweiten Oberfläche geschaffenen Raum begrenzt, wobei die Wand eine mit Klebstoff beschichtete Oberfläche (122) aufweist, die in der Ebene der ersten Oberfläche (106) liegt.
  12. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 11, bei dem die mit Klebstoff beschichtete Oberfläche der Wand mit einem druckempfindlichen Klebstoff beschichtet ist.
  13. Befestigungsmittel zur klebenden Halterung an einem Substrat, das folgendes aufweist: einen Körper mit mindestens einer Oberfläche (128), die zu klebender Adhäsion an dem Substrat fähig ist, wobei die Oberfläche in einer ersten Ebene liegt, einen Behälter in dem Körper und Mittel (112) zum Verdrängen eines in dem Behälter enthaltenen Flüssigklebstoffes in eine Grenzfläche, die gebildet wird, wenn die mindestens eine Oberfläche an dem Substrat plaziert wird; dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß:
    der Körper (98) steif, unbiegsam und hart ist; und
    ein druckempfindlicher Klebstoff (126) in der ersten Ebene liegt und in Kontakt mit dem Substrat angeordnet ist, um für das Substrat ein vorübergehendes Halterungsmittel bereitzustellen, wenn die mindestens eine Oberfläche an dem Substrat plaziert wird.
  14. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 13, bei dem der druckempfindliche (126) Klebstoff an einen Teil der mindestens einen Oberfläche (128) angrenzt.
  15. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 1 oder 13, bei dem der Körper aus ABS hergestellt ist.
  16. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 13, das weiterhin eine effektive Haftmenge eines innerhalb des Behälters angeordneten Klebstoffes umfaßt.
  17. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 13, bei dem die erste Oberfläche Mittel zum Verteilen des Klebstoffs über die Grenzfläche enthält.
  18. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 16, bei dem es sich bei dem Klebstoff um einen schnellhärtenden Klebstoff handelt.
  19. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 18, bei dem der Klebstoff aus einem Cyanoacrylsäureesther besteht.
  20. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 13, bei dem das Mittel zum Verdrängen einen ersten Teil, der sich in den Behälter erstreckt, und einen zweiten Teil, der sich über die erste Oberfläche hinaus erstreckt, aufweist, wobei das Mittel in den Behälter verdrängt wird, wenn die erste Öberfläche an dem Substrat plaziert wird.
  21. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 1, bei dem das Mittel zum Verdrängen weiterhin Mittel zum Lenken des Klebstoffflusses von dem Behälter zu der Grenzfläche umfaßt.
  22. Befestigungsmittel nach Anspruch 21, bei dem das Mittel zum Lenken mehrere Rinnen umfaßt, die senkrecht zur ersten Oberfläche liegen.
