Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a hydraulic hammer with a nozzle arrangement and possibly a housing surrounding the hammer.
When using hydraulic hammers underground and when building tunnels, the dust generated when hitting rock is bound by a water spray.
In the case of a mobile impact head machine that has been used, the hydraulic hammer is surrounded in the longitudinal direction with a jacket-shaped impact protection housing, on the front end of which an annular spray arrangement with several spray nozzles is fastened.
In another known embodiment, the ring-shaped nozzle arrangement is arranged on the end face of the hydraulic hammer concentrically with the chisel holder.
In both cases, the nozzle arrangements are attached to the end of the hydraulic hammer or to the housing surrounding it. The relatively short distance to the impact point of the chisel has one Series of disadvantages. The spray cone generated by the nozzle arrangement as a whole only covers a certain area on the surface of the rock to be destroyed. Particles with high kinetic energy released by the impact energy of the hammer penetrate the spray cone to the outside and thus escape dust binding. Irrespective of this, such particles also hit the relatively close nozzle system and lead to blockages and damage there. However, the replacement of a hydraulic hammer with a spraying arrangement that is no longer working properly leads to an interruption in operation.
The present invention has for its object to avoid the disadvantages mentioned, but at least to reduce them significantly and - expressed positively - to increase the operational safety of a hydraulic hammer with water spraying and to reduce the working conditions, e.g. B. by reducing dust.
This object is achieved in that the nozzle arrangement away from the end face of the hammer or the housing possibly surrounding it in the rearward direction, ie. H. the chisel tip or chisel receptacle is in the opposite direction. Due to the "moving back", a larger distance has arisen between the point of action of the chisel tip and the spraying arrangement. Since the kinetic energy of a particle decreases with distance, the risk of damage to the nozzles of the spray arrangement is significantly reduced compared to the prior art.
With the same cone angle, the "base area" of the also increases by moving it back Spray cone and the cone volume. Thus, on the one hand, the larger base area detects more particles that tend to form dust and, on the other hand, more particles remain within the (larger) spray cone. The proportion of particles bound by water spraying is thus increased and the dust formation is reduced accordingly.
In order to achieve a spray cone volume that is as large as possible, the spray arrangement in a preferred embodiment is placed at the rear end of the hydraulic hammer or the housing, if any, surrounding it.
In another advantageous development, the spraying arrangement is arranged to be displaceable along the side walls of the hydraulic hammer or the housing that may surround it in the direction of the main axis of the hydraulic hammer. As a result, the volume of the entire spray cone produced by the individual spray nozzles and its base area can be varied and adapted accordingly to the respective operating conditions.
In order finally to keep the annoyance of the operating personnel as small as possible acoustically, it is proposed according to a further development of the invention to design the housing that may surround the hydraulic hammer as a closed soundproofing box.
