Abstract

L'invention concerne un mécanisme de verrouillage pour positionner un cadre-dossier dans trois positions, c'est-à-dire une position couchée, relaxe ou assise, et comprend un cliquet pivotable par rapport au cadre-siège sous l'influence d'un ressort, qui peut pénétrer dans aux moins deux crans du cadre-dossier, caractérisé en ce qu'un changement de profil du profil dans lequel lesdits crans (9, 10) sont situés est prévu au delà desdits crans (9, 10), dont la profondeur est suffisante afin d'empêcher le cliquet (4) de se mettre encore en contact avec ledit profil appartenant au cadre-dossier (3).

Description

  • La présente invention se rapporte à un mécanisme de verrouillage qui permet de positionner le cadre-dossier d'un siège-couchette dans au moins trois positions, c'est-à-dire une position couchée, relaxe ou assise, par rapport au cadre-siège du siège-couchette relié par articulation avec celui-ci, le mécanisme comprenant un cliquet pivotable par rapport au cadre-siège sous l'influence d'un ressort, et pouvant pénétrer dans aux moins deux crans à l'extrémité d'un profil appartenant au cadre-dossier.
  • Un tel mécanisme est connu et est souvent utilisé pour positionner le cadre-dossier d'un siège-couchette dans trois positions. Avec trois positions, on veut dire une position assise dans laquelle le cadre-dossier se trouve verticalement ou sensiblement verticalement, une position relaxe, c'est-à-dire une position entre la position assise usuelle et la position couchée, et finalement une position couchée dans laquelle les deux profils appartenant aux deux cadres du meuble et reliés l'un à l'autre par articulation se trouvent en prolongement mutuel. Dans la position utilisée, le cliquet, monté sur l'extrémité du cadre-siège du siège-couchette de façon à pivoter, pivote facilement, sous l'influence d'un ressort, dans les crans correspondants prévus sur l'extrémité des profils appartenant au cadre-dossier et reliés par articulation au cadre-siège.
  • Dans la position couchée, les profils appartenant aux deux cadres reliés l'un à l'autre par articulation se trouvent en prolongement mutuel et ceci se passe sans intervention du cliquet du mécanisme de verrouillage.
  • On a cependant constaté que dans certaines circonstances, entre autre lorsque le cadre-dossier est légèrement soulevé à partir de la position couchée tout juste dite, un contact entre le cliquet et le bord du profil appartenant au cadre-dossier peut bloquer le mécanisme de façon à ce que la remise du cadre-siège dans la position couchée proprement dite ne soit plus possible.
  • Afin de remédier à cet inconvénient, un changement de profil du profil dans lequel lesdits crans sont situés est prévu au delà desdits crans, considéré dans le sens dans lequel le cliquet se déplace par dessus ces crans lorsque le cadre-dossier est apporté à la position couchée, lequel changement de profil ayant la forme d'un évidement dont la profondeur est suffisante afin d'empêcher le cliquet de se mettre encore en contact avec ledit profil appartenant au cadre-dossier.
  • D'autres détails et avantages de l'invention apparaîtront de la description qui suit d'un mécanisme de verrouillage selon l'invention. Cette description est seulement donnée à titre d'exemple et ne limite pas l'invention. Les notations de référence se rapportent aux dessins annexés.
  • La figure 1 est une vue latérale du mécanisme de verrouillage dans une position dans laquelle un blocage peut se produire.
  • La figure 2 montre, à échelle agrandie par rapport à la figure 1, la position des pièces qui provoquent ledit blocage.
  • La figure 3 montre le mécanisme de verrouillage selon l'invention.
  • La figure 4 montre, à échelle agrandie par rapport à la figure 3, les pièces du mécanisme de verrouillage selon l'invention dans laquelle ledit blocage est empêché.
  • Le mécanisme de verrouillage selon l'invention appartient aux types de mécanismes de verrouillage dans lesquels un profil 1, appartenant au cadre-siège est relié par articulation à la hauteur du point 2 avec un profil 3 appartenant au cadre-dossier.
  • Un cliquet pivotable 4 avec point d'articulation 5 est prévu sur l'extrémité du profil 1. Ledit cliquet a la forme d'une équerre dont une extrémité est relié, au point 6, par un ressort de traction 7 à un point 8 du même profil 1.
  • En déplaçant le cadre-dossier auquel appartient le profil 3 vers le haut, le cliquet 4 se pose sans difficulté dans et hors des crans 9 et 10 par lesquels la position relaxe, respectivement la position assise, peut être établie.
  • En rabattant brusquement le cadre-dossier vers le bas vers la position couchée, l'extrémité en forme de pointe du cliquet 4 vient se loger la plupart du temps dans sa position correcte.
  • Il arrive cependant plus souvent que, lorsqu'on soulève brièvement le cadre-dossier et qu'on le laisse se rabattre, un phénomène de blocage se produit parce que le cliquet se met alors en contact avec la partie 11 (figures 1 et 2) du profil 3 faisant partie du cadre-dossier.
  • Selon l'invention, on propose donc de prévoir à la hauteur du bord 11 du profil 3 un évidement 12 qui doit alors être suffisamment profond afin d'empêcher tout contact inutile entre l'extrémité du cliquet 4 et ce bord 11 afin que cette partie puisse donc également se déplacer librement.
  • Grâce à cette disposition, il ne faut dès lors plus craindre que, lorsqu'on soulèvement légèrement le cadre-dossier, il serait ensuite impossible de mettre ce cadre-dossier dans la position couchée, c'est-à-dire dans la position horizontale absolue, au prolongement du cadre-siège.
  • L'invention n'est pas limitée à la forme de réalisation décrite ci-dessus et bien des modifications pourraient y être apportées, pour autant qu'elle tombe dans le cadre de la revendication annexée.

Claims (1)

  1. Mécanisme de verrouillage qui permet de positionner le cadre-dossier d'un siège-couchette dans au moins trois positions, c'est-à-dire une position couchée, relaxe ou assise, par rapport au cadre-siège du siège-couchette relié par articulation avec celui-ci, le mécanisme comprenant un cliquet pivotable par rapport au cadre-siège sous l'influence d'un ressort, et pouvant pénétrer dans aux moins deux crans à l'extrémité d'un profil appartenant au cadre-dossier, caractérisé en ce qu'un changement de profil du profil dans lequel lesdits crans (9, 10) sont situés est prévu au delà desdits crans (9, 10), considéré dans le sens dans lequel le cliquet (4) se déplace par dessus ces crans lorsque le cadre-dossier (3) est apporté à la position couchée, lequel changement de profil ayant la forme d'un évidement (12) dont la profondeur est suffisante afin d'empêcher le cliquet (4) de se mettre encore en contact avec ledit profil appartenant au cadre-dossier (3).
