Bei einer Anordnung derartiger Zylinder senkrecht übereinander würde beim Durchlauf der Spannkanäle durch die Druckzone die Pressung auf die Bahn und damit der durch die Druckeinheit ausgeübte Bahnzug und Bahnzwanglauf unterbrochen werden. Die in der genannten Druckschrift gezeigte Schrägstellung der Übertragungszylinder hat aber den drucktechnischen Nachteil, daß die Umfangsgeschwindigkeit der Übertragungszylinder im Umschlingungsbereich größer ist als die Bahngeschwindigkeit und sich dadurch die Druckqualität nachteilig beeinflussende Verschiebungen zwischen Bahn und Übertragungszylindern ergeben. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch die gegenständlichen
Merkmale des kennzeichnenden Teils des Anspruchs 1 gelöst. Die
Erfindung verkleinert den Umschlingungsbereich der
Übertragungszylinder, wodurch die Verschiebung zwischen Bahn und
Zylinderoberfläche verringert und dadurch die Druckqualität
verbessert wird. Optimal wäre nach diesem Gesichtspunkt eine völlig
entfallende Umschlingung. Dies hätte aber den Nachteil, daß die Bahn
nach dem Verlassen des Druckspaltes jeweils an dem Zylinder mit dem
momentan größeren Druckanteil am Sujet kleben bleibt und also je
nach Sujet flattert. Dies wirkt sich nachteilig auf die Bahnspannung
und die Druckqualität (Punktzuwachs, Umfangsduple',
Umfangsregisterfehler) aus. Eine optimale Umschlingung, die den
drucktechnischen Belangen und einem stabilen Bahnlauf gerecht wird,
wird also bei einer Neigung der Übertragungszylinder im angegebenen
Winkelbereich erzielt.This object is achieved by the objective

Die in Fig. 1 dargestellte Druckeinheit enthält zwei übereinander
angeordnete Übertragungszylinder 1, 2, denen jeweils ein
Formzylinder 3, 4 zugeordnet ist. Die Übertragungszylinder 1, 2
arbeiten im Berührungskontakt miteinander. Dabei ist der
Berührungspunkt entgegen der Laufrichtung der Bahn 5 zur Vertikalen
6 durch die Mitte des unteren Übertragungszylinders 2 versetzt, und
zwar ist die gemeinsame Ebene der Achsen der Übertragungszylinder 1, 2 um einen
Winkel α = 5° zur Vertikalen 6 geneigt. Der Winkel α kann im
Bereich von 0° < α ≤ 10° gewählt werden. Auch kann der Winkel α im
Uhrzeigersinn zur Vertikalen 6 liegen, das heißt, der
Übertragungszylinder 1 kann in Bahnlaufrichtung geneigt angeordnet
