Definitions
- the present invention relates to an electromechanical switch device with forced operation, comprising in a housing at least one pole with separable contacts, these contacts being controllable by an electromagnet or by a button manual command.
- the electromagnet has a coil, a fixed armature and an armature mobile respectively located near and at a distance from a front face of the case, the movable armature being coupled to a support of the movable contacts and being movable with the latter in translation in a direction perpendicular to the front face of the housing.
- the control button can be moved parallel to the front panel between an automatic running position, in which it does not act on the movable frame, and a forced on position, in which it acts on the movable armature via a separate transmission part.
- the transmission mechanism of such a device fills more or less well its role in terms of guidance and effort recovery.
- the object of the invention is to improve the kinematic transmission between the manual control button and the mobile magnetic circuit of such a device switch, to make its operation more reliable and simplify its assembly.
- the transmission part is a lever which has a first arm led by the control button and a second arm leading the circuit mobile magnetic, the lever being articulated on a first bearing fixed relative to the housing, the second arm of the lever being linked to the mobile magnetic circuit by means a second bearing with an axis parallel to the axis of the first bearing, the bearings being arranged to ensure alignment of the movable magnetic circuit with respect to the circuit fixed magnetic.
- the mean plane of the mobile magnetic circuit which is perpendicular the axes of the bearings thus remains aligned with that of the fixed magnetic circuit, plus particularly when the bearings each have two symmetrical pivots per compared to this medium shot.
- the lever preferably has an L shape, the linked part of which to the mobile magnetic circuit and / or to the support of the mobile contacts is in the form of fork.
- a tilting blocking piece can be provided between the button and the lever to be tilted in response to putting the button in the on position forced and lock the lever in its closed position of the contacts.
- the electromechanical switch device illustrated in the figures is a single pole or multi pole contactor with forced operation, i.e. usable with maintained manual closure of contacts.
- the contactor comprises a box 10 of modular type, the face of which front 11 of plane P1 has a passage window 12 for a button 13 of manual command ; this button is likely to occupy a position of automatic control (figure 4), a forced on position (figure 5) and possibly a stop position, passing from one to the other by translation according to a direction parallel to the plane P1.
- Set back from the front 11 are provided two control terminals 14 and, for each pole, two terminals 15 of power allowing the connection of external conductors.
- Terminals 15 are connected by respective conductive parts 16 to two fixed contacts 17, to which are associated two movable contacts 18 arranged on a contact bridge 19; each bridge 19 is movable in a direction Z1 perpendicular to P1.
- the various contact bridges 19 are each subject to a spring of contact pressure 20 and are housed with their respective springs in a support common 21 also mobile according to Z1.
- the mobile support 21 is actuated to close the contacts either by button 13 put in the forced running position or by a electromagnet when button 13 is in the automatic operating position.
- the electromagnet 30 is disposed in the housing 10 and comprises on the one hand a coil 31 wound on an insulating carcass 32 and connected to the terminals of control 14, on the other hand a fixed magnetic circuit 33 in the form of an E housed in the front part of the housing near its front face 11 and a mobile magnetic circuit 34 in E disposed between the circuit 33 and a rear face 22 of the housing.
- an anterior part 23 of the movable support 21 To the core 35 of the mobile circuit 34 is attached by any suitable means an anterior part 23 of the movable support 21.
- the excitation of the coil 31 gives rise to the rise of the moving element 34, 21 and therefore the closing of the contacts 17, 18.
- the button 13 cooperates with a pivoting lever 40 by means of a drive part and blocking 60.
- the lever 40 is a separate part from the button 13 which presents for side ( Figure 1) an approximate shape of L with a first arm 41 substantially parallel to direction Z1 and arranged to be driven by the button via part 60 and a second arm 42 substantially perpendicular to Z1 and linked by a bearing 43 to mobile magnetic circuit and / or mobile support.
- the lever 40 preferably has the form of a fork (see Figures 2 and 3), so that the second arm 42 is consists of two fork elements 42a, 42b parallel each having a oblong recess 44a, 44b which cooperates with slight play with a pivot or journal respective 45a, 45b of the circuit 34 or of the support 21; the recesses 44 and pivots 45 constitute the bearing 43 of axis Y1 perpendicular to a mean plane X1 of the circuit moving magnetic 34 and symmetrically to the plane X1.
- the recesses oblong 44 are preferably open on the side of the free end of the elements of fork, so that these ends themselves have a fork shape.
- the pivots 45a, 45b can be formed by pins of the support 21 or by the emerging ends of a pin which fixes the support 21 to the magnetic circuit 34 and which is mounted through this circuit.
- the lever 40 is a piece of low inertia articulated on a fixed bearing 46 relative to the housing and axis Y2 parallel to the axis Y1 of the bearing 43.
- the bearing 46 is consists of two pivots 47a, 47b secured to the lever, symmetrical with respect to the plane X1 and cooperating with circular housings 48a, 48b provided in a wall of the housing or in the coil carcass.
- the bearings 43, 46 are arranged to maintain the mean plane X1 of the mobile magnetic circuit 34 aligned with that of the fixed magnetic circuit 33, therefore by clamping the mobile circuit, even in the event of stress on the moving part by a lateral additive.
- a spring 49 of any type, for example helical, is provided between a face or side wall 24 of the housing and a support facet 41a of the arm 41 of the lever (see figures 1 and 3).
- the spring is housed laterally at a control terminal 14 and it should be noted that it constitutes the sole return spring for the mobile assembly circuit 34 - support 21.
- the fork of the second arm 42 of the lever envelops the cheeks of the movable magnetic circuit and may have a shape on the outside female 50 which is accessible through an opening 51 of a side wall 52 of the housing for cooperating with a male form 53 of a lateral contact additive auxiliaries (see figure 2).
- the efforts due to the control of the moving parts of the additive is taken up in the contactor by the bearings 43, 46, which relieves the circuit mobile magnetic.
- the first arm 41 can also be in the form of a bridge (FIG. 3) to accentuate the rigidity of the lever by giving it the appearance of a flange.
- the tilting drive and blocking part 60 is mounted pivoting on pins 61 of axis Y3 parallel to axes Y1 and Y2, belonging to the housing or coil housing.
- the tilting part 60 comprises a sector toothed 62 which meshes with the teeth of a rack 63 carried by a lateral face or lower 64 of the button 13.
- the part 60 includes a finger 65 cooperating in the manner of a cam with a bearing surface curved 66 located near the upper end 41b of the arm 41 of the lever; the surface support 66 ends (see FIG. 6) with a form of blocking 67 allowing confirm or stabilize the forced running state.
- Button 13 is pressed to the right ( Figure 1) by a spring not shown and includes a projection for controlling a member 68 for cutting the coil current in the off position; this provision is well known and is not further described.
- the device operates as explained below.
- the button manual control 13 occupies the automatic operating position and that the coil 31 is not supplied, the lever 40 and the movable support 21 are in the position shown in solid lines in Figure 4.
- the mobile magnetic circuit 34 is drawn to circuit 33 (position indicated in dashes) in driving on the one hand the support 21, on the other hand the lever 40; return spring 49 is compressed and the contacts close.
- the spring returns the moving part to its rest position and the contacts open.
