Abstract

The air cleaning system has the air stream used for treatment of the textile web fed through an endless filter mesh (6) at the input side of the ventilator fan, with the fibres etc. captured by the filter mesh periodically removed by a suction jet device (11). Pref. the soiling level of the filter mesh surface is monitored, to activate the suction jet device for removing the deposits on the outside of the filter mesh, when the detected soiling level reaches a threshold value.

Description

The invention relates to a method (according to the Preamble of claim 1) and a device (according to the preamble of claim 5) Cleaning a circulating air flow inside one especially for drying and / or fixing continuously transported, broadly guided textile webs certain treatment machine.

A known version of the type required can be found in DE-GM 83 04 087. After that is a filter screen in the form of a rotatable drum filter executed, with approximately in the axial direction the outer peripheral side of the peripheral jacket of this drum filter an exhaust cleaning nozzle that extends to connected to an ejector operated with compressed air which is connected to a filter element via a connecting line, for example, a filter bag. in the practical operation of this known version is in generally proceeded so that the cleaning of the Drum filter circumferential jacket and thus the corresponding Suction nozzle device in precisely defined periods or selected time intervals on and off becomes. This periodic switching on and off cleaning takes place regardless of how strong the outside of the drum filter is dirty, i.e. it became a timed cleaning interval based on experience, preselected so that with fluctuating operating conditions and if the intervals are too long between two cleaning processes of the drum filter outer jacket could be so dirty that satisfactory cleaning with the help of the suction nozzle was no longer possible and the screen jacket against a clean screen jacket can be replaced had to. It is then accepted that the Circulating air flow within the associated treatment machine or within a treatment field in this Machine experiences a correspondingly high pressure drop.

From FR-A-25 33 141 is also a cleaning device for a fixed or longitudinally movable Filter belt in a dryer for textile material webs known. This cleaning device contains suction and / or blow nozzles through which on the outside of the Filter sieve belt is sucked off or collected fibers can be blown off. The cleaning nozzles thus formed are on suction and / or blowing devices connected depending on the particular Flow resistance of the filter screen belt or in certain Time intervals via valves, i.e. via the Air volume can be controlled.

The invention is based on the object of a method according to the preamble of claim 1 or one Device according to the preamble of the claim 5 to develop in such a way that particularly reliable Excessive clogging of the filter screen surface largely due to impurities from the circulating air flow can be avoided.

This object is achieved by the characterizing Features of claim 1 (method) and on the other hand of claim 5 (device) solved.

Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen und Weiterbildungen dieser Erfindung sind Gegenstand der Unteransprüche. Advantageous refinements and developments of these Invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

According to the inventive method, it has proven to be proven extremely advantageous when cleaning the Filter screen outside via a computer provided Control system at least when a preset one is reached Degree of pollution or pollution limit is activated by the differential pressure between the outside and the inside of the Filter screen area depending on presettable Values of air volume, temperature and humidity of the circulating air flow is determined. Accordingly is the filter screen in the embodiment of the invention or its filter screen surface, through which of its entrained contaminants such as textile fibers, Circulated air flow to be cleared under Inclusion of preselected setting values or parameters monitored for its degree of pollution. To this Wise becomes when a preset pollution limit is reached cleaning activated and thus the associated suction nozzle device for a long cleaning interval switched on. Therefore, can be avoided with relatively great reliability be that the entire filter screen area due to the impurities to be filtered out of the circulating air flow clogged excessively, so that always a reliable in the associated treatment machine or treatment process acting in the corresponding treatment field guaranteed for appropriate textile webs is.

According to the invention, the differential pressure between a first pressure variable of the circulating air flow measured in the area from the outside of the filter screen surface and a second pressure variable measured in the area behind the inside of the filter screen surface and the contamination limit value activating the cleaning of the outside of the filter screen can be determined as a function of this differential pressure
  • the preselected air volume by setting the fan speed,
  • the setting of recirculating air flaps in the path of the recirculating air flow, which also controls the air volume,
  • the setting of the air temperature required for the respective textile treatment process and
  • the preselected humidity of the circulating air during the treatment process
is preset.

These measures are particularly favorable for cleaning the filter screen or to be able to automatically control its filter screen surface. There is therefore no danger of being excessive heavy contamination of the filter screen surface the treatment effect the circulating air flow significantly impaired; on the other hand, it also avoids cleaning the filter screen is already activated, if this is due to a relatively low level of pollution is not yet required.

As is well known, textile finishing is widely used Chemicals used. Through within the associated Treatment machine circulating air flow can now sometimes use parts of the chemicals used carried away and into the area of the filter screen be dragged off wherever they are the relatively tight meshes the filter screen or the filter screen surface - if necessary together with the other impurities (Fibers, fluff, or the like.) - In an undesirable manner can close. In these uses of the The method according to the invention is therefore particularly special Advantage if the cleaning is activated the filter screen outside of the suction nozzle device optionally or if necessary, an additional one the cleaning brush acting on the outside of the filter screen can be switched on. This preferably in the form of a rotating brush roller brush to be carried out can then in an extremely advantageous manner Brush the meshes of the filter sieve, the from the outside of the filter sieve of any kind - by appropriate allocation of Cleaning brush - also from the suction nozzle device can be vacuumed with.

In addition, however, it can also be advantageous activation for cleaning the outside of the filter screen additionally through a time monitoring to control, so that then double monitoring the filter screen surface is provided.

A device for cleaning a circulating air flow within the treatment machine mentioned is characterized according to the invention by a Differential pressure monitoring device for monitoring an adjustable contamination limit of the filter screen area as well as with one with the differential pressure monitoring device related, Computer-aided control device via which the suction nozzle device when reaching the from the differential pressure between the outside and inside of the filter screen surface depending on presettable values the amount of air, the temperature and the humidity of the Circulation air flow determined pollution limit can be activated.

These device measures always ensure you reliable cleaning process at the latest then when the filter screen surface begins to become excessive heavily clogged with impurities from the circulating air flow.

In this device according to the invention, it is used for considered particularly useful if the differential pressure monitoring device Pressure measuring devices for Pressure measurement of the circulating air flow - in its flow direction considered - on the one hand in Area in front of the outside and on the other hand in the area contains behind the inside of the filter screen.

To the filter screen area in the desired Reliable way to keep clear and clean, if the circulating air flow to be cleaned is at least partially liquid or vapor treatment chemicals (e.g. Silicon or the like.) Contains, which for crusting the Tilt filter screen surface is the suction nozzle device a cleaning brush in a particularly advantageous manner assigned, optionally via the control device can be switched on and for an additional mechanical cleaning of the outside of the filter screen worries. This cleaning brush is useful as rotating drivable brush roller designed only on sections of its outer peripheral side with bristles studded, preferably with a helical Provide bristle trimmings in the manner of a trapezoidal thread is. Through this training on the one hand increased cleaning options for the filter sieve, and secondly it prevents the bristles due to permanently embedded fiber breakage or similar impurities are undesirably polluted can be.

The device according to the invention is intended for the Purification of a circulating air flow that is used to treat a textile web in an associated treatment machine or in a treatment area of this machine in circulates in a known manner. With this in the Drawing illustrated embodiment accordingly assumed that the invention Cleaning device within a textile web treatment machine is arranged in the form of a well-known tensioner is designed to Drying and / or fixing textile fabrics and knitted fabrics is used which - as textile webs in broadly guided condition - continuously in the longitudinal direction be transported through this stenter. Fig. 1 shows the clamping machine in a simplified representation and a horizontal sectional view of the lower one Part of a treatment area 1, i.e. this tensioner can in a known manner from a corresponding number of one after the other in the longitudinal direction arranged treatment fields can be built.

Each air recirculation device 2, 3 contains within of the machine housing 1a in a corresponding Way near an associated - opposite each other - Longitudinal housing wall 1b and 1c arranged Fan 4 for generating a circulating air flow, which in a manner known in the art for the required Treatment of a textile web in the tenter serves and indicated in Fig. 1 by arrows 5 is. Just for the sake of completeness, that approximately in the area above each air circulation fan 4 arranged in a conventional manner nozzle boxes are the one to be treated in the stenter Textile web with circulating air or one of the circulating air equivalent circulating gas for drying and / or fixing is blown.

For the sake of simplicity, the following will only open that illustrated in the right half of Fig.1 Recirculation device 2 with the associated device for Purification of the circulating air treatment stream 5 referred to, since the other air recirculation device 3 or any other air recirculation device - except for one possibly mirror image - be carried out in the same way can.

The suction side 4a of the air circulation fan 4 is in the flow direction of the circulating air flow (arrows 5) a filter screen 6 upstream, which forms a kind of fiber trap and in the form of in the direction of arrow 7 (Fig.2 and 3) rotating drivable drum screen is executed. The peripheral jacket of this drum screen, i.e. the real thing Fiber trap is essentially one suitable filter fabric, spans a tubular Support frame (as known) and forms one Filter screen surface 8, the outside to the inside or from the outer circumferential side to the inside of the screen of the one to be cleaned Circulating air flow 5 on its way to the intake side 4a of the air circulation fan 4 is flowed through. Accordingly this is an end face 6a of the drum screen 6 through a gas duct 9 adapted in cross section connected to the suction side 4a of the air circulation fan 4.

Within the drum screen 6 or in the area between this drum screen and the suction side 4a of the air circulation fan 4 can also be known per se and therefore unspecified a direct or indirectly the heat exchanger 5 heating the circulating air stream be arranged.

The drum screen 6 is useful with its geometric Longitudinal axis 6b approximately perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 1d the tensioning machine or the associated treatment field 1 arranged inside the machine housing 1a. in the Area of the adjacent longitudinal housing wall 1c The front end 6c is a suitable one for the drum screen 6 Assigned rotary drive device 10, which - as indicated in Figures 2 and 3 - for example can be designed in the form of a chain wheel drive, around this drum screen 6 and thus its peripheral jacket (Filter screen surface 8) during the cleaning process drive according to the direction of rotation arrow 7 can.

On the outside (outer peripheral side) 8a of the Drum screen 6 is at a relatively close distance and stationary (stationary) a suction nozzle device 11 arranged to clean off on this Outside 8a of the filter screen surface 8 accumulated Impurities (fibers, fluff, chemicals, etc.) in controllable time intervals can be activated.

This suction nozzle device 11 contains in the present Embodiment (see Fig.1) one on the axial Length of the drum screen 6 or the associated one Filter screen area 8 reaching suction nozzle lla in shape a slot nozzle, so that reliable cleaning the entire filter screen surface 8 can be guaranteed can. As can also be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3 is, are on the slot nozzle lla or on the Housing outwards two ejectors 13 immediately arranged to a common compressed air line 14th are connected to a dust collector filter 15 leads, which is permeable to air, but cleaned Retains fibers, fluff, dust particles and the like and at which is a common dust collection bag, Filter hose or the like can act.

In the embodiment illustrated here in the drawing the device according to the invention will also considered appropriate, the suction nozzle device 11 a total of an optionally switchable cleaning brush in the form of a rotating brush roller 16 assign to the outside if necessary 8a of the drum screen 6 or the associated filter screen surface 8 additionally clean mechanically to be able to. The latter may be necessary, for example be when treating in the tensioner of chemicals used therein particles with the circulating air flow 5 can be carried away and also by the filter screen surface 8 are removed from the circulating air should. This brush roller 16 is on a suitable one Swivel lever arrangement 17 held (Fig.2 and 3), the one with a control device to be explained later control cylinder 18 in control connection is assigned in such a way that the brush roller 16 in programmable way around a fixed axis 19 in a cleaning position according to Figure 2 against the Outside 8a of the drum screen 6 and in a disengaged position according to Figure 3 from this outside 8a can be pivoted away. This brush roll 16 is with a drive device 20 so connected and controllable that they are in their cleaning position (Fig.2) rotating in the direction of arrow 21 is driven.

Stelleinrichtung (Stellglied) verwendet werden, beispielsweise auch ein Linearmotor oder dgl..Instead of the actuating cylinder 18, any other can suitable actuating or actuating device (actuator) are used, for example also a Linear motor or the like.

As for the arrangement of the brush roller 16, so this extends essentially over the whole axial length of the drum screen 6. Here is the brush roller 16 - in the direction of rotation (arrow 7) of the drum screen 6 considered (see Fig. 2 and 3) - closely behind the suction nozzle 11a of the suction nozzle device or - devices 11 arranged in this way and in their Direction of rotation (arrow 21) opposite to that of the drum screen 6, that from the outside 8a of the drum screen 6 brushed impurities of the suction nozzle 11a conveyed or introduced into this suction nozzle can. The suction nozzle device 11 thus removes also simultaneously with the help of the brush roller 16 the outside of the drum screen 8a.

Regarding the design of the brush roller 16, it should also be pointed out that it is useful only on sections its outer peripheral side is covered with bristles. This can preferably be done in that this brush roller 16, for example, in that illustrated with reference to FIG Way with a helical bristle trim 16a is provided approximately in the manner of a trapezoidal thread. This training has the advantage that a Soiling the bristles or the bristle stock 16a due to permanently stored impurities (fibers, fluff, Chemical particles, etc.) is prevented. Hereby the possibility is created that the bristles or the bristle trim 16a during the cleaning work be opened by the brush roller 16, whereby the above-mentioned contamination largely loosened and can be removed in the direction of the suction nozzle 11a.

Steuerverbindung.Of particular importance in this invention Device now, however, that here as a drum screen 6 formed filter screen a device 22nd (Fig.1) to monitor the degree of pollution of its Filter screen area 8 is assigned. It belongs to this device also a the suction nozzle device 11 at least depending on a presettable Control device activating degree of pollution 23, which is preferably an electrical or electronic control device acts and in the Fig.1 and 2 for simplicity illustrated in the form of a corresponding control box is. This control device 23 stands with the aforementioned monitoring device 22 in a more suitable manner Way in signal or control connection.

In a particularly reliable manner, the said Monitoring device for the degree of pollution of the Filter screen area 8 by a differential pressure monitoring device 22 are formed. This monitoring device Accordingly, 22 contains at least a pressure measuring device or pressure measuring point 24 for Pressure measurement of the circulating air flow 5 - in its flow direction viewed - in the area in front of the outside 8a of the drum screen 6 and one Pressure measuring device with preferably several Pressure measuring points or pressure tapping holes 25 in the area behind the inside of the drum screen 6. This last-mentioned pressure measuring devices 25 are expedient - As indicated in Fig.1 - in the area of the inner circumference at the upstream end 9a of the gas channel 9 distributed so that a representative mean can be detected. Accordingly - how is also indicated in Figure 1 - the degree of pollution the filter screen surface 8 by the differential pressure ΔP between one in the area in front of the outside 8a of the drum filter 6 measured first pressure variable P1 of the circulating air flow 5 and one in the area behind the inside of the drum screen 6 measured second Print size P2 determined. The determined differential pressure ΔP can then be intermittent or - preferably - determined continuously and via a measuring or signal line 26 supplied to the control device 23 in which the supplied current differential pressure each with a preset limit for the pollution is compared. If exceeded the preset limit of the degree of pollution can then clean the outside of the drum screen as described 8a are activated, for which purpose the suction nozzle device 11 switched on by the control device 23 becomes. You can do this at every cleaning interval on the part of the suction nozzle device 11 or only the brush roller at certain selectable cleaning intervals 16 switched on for increased cleaning will.

The control device 23 for controlling the activation at least the suction nozzle device 11 can be expedient additionally a time switch 27 for periodic optionally switch on this suction nozzle device 11 included. This additional time switch If necessary, the 27 in the The main thing is the degree of contamination of the filter screen surface 8 controlled cleaning additionally overlay, so that double monitoring for this cleaning and therefore a particularly high one Safety for the operation of the device according to the invention and with it the associated tensioning machine is guaranteed.

As has already been explained above, the limit value of the mentioned degree of soiling which activates the cleaning of the filter screen or drum screen outside 8a can be predetermined or preset depending on several factors. This presetting can depend on
  • a preselected amount of air by adjusting the speed of the circulating air fan 4,
  • a setting of at least one recirculating air flap in the path of the recirculating air flow 5 that also controls the air volume,
  • the setting of an air temperature required for the respective textile web treatment process and
  • a preselected humidity of the circulating air during the treatment process
be made.

In a practical embodiment of the present Invention can control for cleaning the filter screen surface 8 of the filter screen / drum screen 6 expediently a computer-aided process control system for the entire associated tensioning machine in assigned or subordinate accordingly will. In this context, it is important that the control system the above Dependencies, namely fan speed (air volume), Recirculation damper setting positions, air temperature and Humidity of the ambient air, are known. The control system can now be communicated in the form of tables, what airflow resistances at certain dependency values for air temperature, humidity, fan speed and recirculation damper setting positions on Filter sieve are created. Accordingly, the to Computers belonging to the control system may become necessary Corrections from the existing parameters the air temperature, the air humidity, the fan speed and the recirculation damper setting position calculate and use it to calculate the current operating status expected differential pressure at the filter screen determine.

There is therefore a setpoint for activating the filter screen cleaning for example about 50% of the Differential pressure size (based on the clean filter screen) before, then through the control system mentioned or via the control device 23 the permissible limit value the differential pressure (and thus the degree of contamination) determined on the filter screen and then alarm triggered or cleaning can be activated if this limit value of the differential pressure is reached or is exceeded.
