Claims (10)

  1. Vorrichtung zum Komprimieren und Verpacken eines Stapels von komprimierbaren Gegenständen, gekennzeichnet durch
    - Druckmittel (18, 20), die oberhalb eines horizontalen Auflagetisches (10) angeordnet und geeignet sind, den Stapel der Gegenstände (P) in einer horizontalen Stapelrichtung (DE) zu komprimieren, um ihm eine komprimierte Abmessung (DC) gewählter Größe zu geben;
    - eine Aufnahmekammer (24), die oberhalb des horizontalen Auflagetisches (10) angeordnet und geeignet ist, den komprimierten Stapel der Gegenstände aufzunehmen, und die mit einer Öffnung (26), die zur Einführung des komprimierten Stapels entlang einer Einführrichtung (DI) senkrecht zur Stapelrichtung (DE) nach unten gerichtet ist, mit einer Deckenplatte (28) gegenüber der Öffnung sowie mit zwei Seitenwänden (32) versehen ist, die zwischen sich einen Abstand (E) lassen, der etwa gleich der komprimierten Abmessung (DC) des Stapels ist;
    - Mittel (36, 38), um wenigstens eine Verpackungsfolie (F) quer zur Öffnung (26) der Aufnahmekammer (24) anzuordnen;
    - Übertragungsmittel (14, 16), um den komprimierten Stapel in die Aufnahmekammer (24) einzuführen, so daß der komprimierte Stapel die Folie (F) mit sich nimmt, die dabei den Stapel an drei Seiten (C1, C2, C3) bedeckt und zwei Teile der Folie bestehen läßt, die über die Aufnahmekammer (24) herausragen;
    - Führungsmittel (22), um den komprimierten Stapel während seines Transfers in die Aufnahmekammer (24) komprimiert zu halten; und
    - Verschlußmittel (40), um die beiden Teile der Folie (F) entlang einer vierten Seite (C4) des Stapels zu verbinden, die parallel zur Stapelrichtung (DE) verläuft.
  2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Druckmittel zwei gegenüberliegende Kompressionswände (18), von denen zumindest eine beweglich ist, und Betätigungsmittel (20) für deren gegenseitiges Zusammenschieben oder voneinander Entfernen aufweisen.
  3. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Auflagetisch (10) eine Mittelplatte (14) aufweist, die vertikal verschiebbar und geeignet ist, den komprimierten Stapel in die Aufnahmekammer (24) einzuführen.
  4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Führungsmittel zwei schwenkbare Klappen (22) aufweisen, von denen jede mit einer der beiden Kompressionswände (18) gelenkig verbunden und zwischen einer eingeklappten Position, in der jede von ihnen mit der zugehörigen Kompressionswand (18) einen im wesentlichen rechten Winkel bildet, wodurch das Halten der Gegenstände auf dem Auflagetisch während der Kompressionsphase gewährleistet ist, und einer ausgeklappten Position veränderbar ist, in der jede von ihnen die zugehörige Kompressionswand (18) im Hinblick auf die Führung des komprimierten Stapels während seines Transports verlängert.
  5. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß wenigstens die eine der beiden Seitenwände (32) der Aufnahmekammer (24) gesteuert von einer Betätigungsvorrichtung (34) beweglich ist.
  6. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß nur eine der Seitenwände (32) im Hinblick auf die andere Seitenwand beweglich und in ihrer Position verstellbar ist, um die Einstellung des wechselseitigen Abstands (E) der beiden Seitenwände und ihre Entfernung im Hinblick auf die Freisetzung des komprimierten Stapels sicherzustellen, wenn dieser erst einmal verpackt ist.
  7. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Deckenplatte (28) der Aufnahmekammer (24) in ihrer Position verstellbar ist.
  8. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie Mittel zur Parallelverschiebung (42) enthält, um die Aufnahmekammer (24) zwischen einer Aufnahmeposition, die nahe bei den Druckmitteln (18) angeordnet ist, um die Aufnahme des komprimierten Stapels und seine Verpackung sicherzustellen, und einer Freigabeposition zu verschieben, die im Abstand von den Druckmitteln (18) angeordnet ist, um die Ablage des komprimierten und verpackten Stapels auf einem Abnahmeorgan (46) sicherzustellen.
  9. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Folie (F) von zwei Teilstücken gebildet ist, die miteinander verbunden sind und ausgehend von zwei Trommeln (36, 38) abrollen, die auf beiden Seiten der Aufnahmekammer (24) angeordnet und deren Achsen senkrecht zur Verpackungsrichtung sind.
  10. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verschlußmittel zwei Verschlußleisten (40) enthalten, die geeignet sind, gegeneinander gerückt zu werden, um die beiden Teile der Folie (F) zu verbinden, wobei sie zwei im Abstand befindliche Verbindungsstellen bilden, von denen die eine (J) das Schließen der Folie sichert, indem sie um den komprimierten Stapel zum Verpacken und Komprimieren gespannt ist, und die andere (J') die Bildung einer neuen Verpackungsfolie sichert, die in der Lage ist, einen neuen Stapel aufzunehmen, ebenso Schneidmittel, um die Folie zwischen den beiden Verbindungsstellen (I, I') abzuschneiden.
