Claims (19)

  1. A method for guiding a low-weight, flexible web of material or at least a strip thereof in a machine for the treatment of the web of material on and along a part of a moving guide element by means of an air jet,
    characterised in that
    the air jet is introduced between the part of the material web to be guided and brought into the vicinity of the guide element, and the guide element, in which the speed of the air of the air jet is higher than that of the guide element.
  2. A method according to Claim 1,
    characterised in that
    when the air jet impinges upon the guide element, the direction of movement of both is approximately equal.
  3. A method according to one of Claims 1 or 2,
    characterised in that
    the air jet and the part of the material web to be guided therewith is deflected by the guide element over a fixed guide arrangement to a following unit.
  4. A method according to one of Claims 1 or 2,

    the air jet and the part of the material web to be guided therewith is deflected by the guide element by means of a further air jet to a following unit.
  5. A method according to Claim 4,

  6. A method according to Claim 1 or 2,

    the air jet and the part of the material web to the guided therewith is brought by the guide element into the vicinity of another moving guide element and an air jet is introduced between the part of the material web to be guided and the other guide element, the effect of which jet, guiding the material web, exceeds that of the first air jet.
  7. A paper machine with a rotating guide roller and a device for guiding a strip of a paper web (1) on and along a part of a rotating guide roller (2) which has a blast nozzle device,
    characterised in that
    the blast nozzle device (3) is arranged between the strip of the paper web (1), brought into the vicinity of the guide roller (2), and the guide roller (2), and the air jet is aligned in the guiding direction approximately tangentially in relation to the guide roller (2), in which the speed of the air of the air jet is higher than that of the guide roller (2).
  8. A paper machine according to Claim 7,
    characterised in that

    at least one of the blast nozzle devices (3, 6, 10) is changeable in its direction of action and/or with regard to its position.
  17. A paper machine according to one of Claims 12, 13, 15 or 16,
    characterised in that
    the baffle plate (9) is changeable in its alignment and/or with respect to its position.
  18. A paper machine according to one of Claims 12 to 17,
    characterised in that
    the unit (4) arranged in front is a pressing device and the following unit (8) is a pressing- or drying device for the paper web (1).
  19. A paper machine according to Claim 18,
    characterised in that
    the speed of the guide roller (2) deviates slightly from that of the paper web (1).
