Definitions
- the invention relates to a system for gas recirculation during the loading and unloading of tank vehicles according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a system is known from DE 42 36 591 C1.
- the individual tank compartments of the tanker vehicle are connected to a common gas line designed as a riser, to which connections for a gas return line, for a gas pendulum line and a breathing valve are connected.
- the connections for the gas return line and for the gas return line are alternatively closed.
- the invention has for its object to provide a system for gas recirculation during loading and unloading of a tanker vehicle, the use of which can reduce the overall height of a tanker vehicle, reduce the overall construction effort and additionally increase the safety of the vehicle.
- the detonation and continuous fire ventilator is preferably located on the side on the outer edge of the tank vehicle, so that the overall height of the vehicle can be reduced.
- the elbows can be omitted if the dome openings are directly connected to the manifold.
- a detonation and continuous fire ventilator which can be used for the purposes of the invention is pot-shaped, its open underside being connected to the upper end of the gas line.
- an insert is provided which is closed at the top with a flame screen and which is provided with a connection directed radially with respect to the detonation and permanent fire ventilator for connection to the collecting line.
- the top of the detonation and continuous fire fan is provided with a detachable cover in a manner known per se.
- the invention makes use of the knowledge that when the tanker vehicle is loaded, an ignition spark can at most get into the gas line via the connections for the gas return line or for the gas recovery line or the breathing valve. Since, according to the invention, the detonation and continuous fire fan is preferably arranged at the end of the gas line, the ignition spark can thus be made harmless in a short way. In the case of a previously customary design of the tank vehicle, a spark penetrating into the gas line would be distributed to all detonation and continuous fire fans assigned to the tank compartments, a longer pipeline section being affected and additional caps could be blown off by several detonation and continuous fire fans at the same time. The invention thus also increases the safety of a suitably equipped tank vehicle.
- the apex outlets of the individual tank compartments are arranged on standpipes that protrude from below into the individual tank compartments of the tank vehicle, it can be provided that the manifold is routed below the vehicle and the detonation and continuous fire fan is also located on the side / bottom of the vehicle at the end of one gas pipe routed under the vehicle.
- FIG. 1 shows a tank compartment 6, which is provided with a ventilation system.
- the gas present is passed via the dome connection 5 with a tilting valve 4 onto a manifold 2, which is connected to the detonation and continuous fire fan 1.
- the underside of the detonation and continuous fire fan 1 connects to the gas line 3, the second end of which is connected to the connecting line 10.
- This has a gas return connection 7 at one end, which is accommodated in a housing 11 which can be closed with a flap 12.
- the other end of the connecting line 10 contains a gas pendulum connection 8 and a breathing valve 9.
- the gas escaping when filling the tank compartment 6 is either through the detonation and continuous fire fan 1 at the gas return port 7 or given inadmissibly high overpressure via the breathing valve 9 which is pneumatically closed when loaded. If a spark is formed when connecting the corresponding pipes or hoses, this would penetrate through the gas line 3 to the detonation and continuous fire fan 1 and be made harmless there without it being able to penetrate the collecting line 2.
- the tanker vehicle has only a single gas line 3 with a single detonation and continuous fire fan 1.
- the manifold 2 is connected to the individual domain connections 5 (23, 24, 25) of the individual tank compartments 6 via pipe elbows (20, 21, 22).
- Fig. 2 shows a detonation and fire fan 1 of the type specified in an enlarged view.
- the detonation and continuous fire fan (1) is attached via a flange 14.
- the permanent fire fan 1 is pot-shaped with a housing 18 which is provided on the top with a detachable cover 15, the edge 19 of which is slipped over the upper edge of the housing 18 and which is detonated when a detonation occurs.
- the housing 18 there is a centrally arranged insert 17, which is cup-shaped and has a flame screen 16 known per se on its upper opening side.
- the insert 17 is connected to the manifold 2 via a flange 13.
- the dashed line with arrows shows the gas flow when loading a tank compartment 6.
- a spark rising in the gas line 3 would first cause the cover 15 of the housing 18 to blow off. Although gas flowing out of the insert 17 would lead to the formation of a flame above the flame screen 16, the flame could not pass through the flame screen 16 into the collecting line 2 and thus into the individual tank compartments.
- FIG. 3 shows a top view of the line routing in relation to the detonation and continuous fire fan 1.
- the individual dome connections 23-25 of the various tank compartments 6 lead via pipe elbows 20-22 to the common collecting line 2. This has a connection piece which connects it to the detonation and continuous fire fan 1.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
- eine Detaildarstellung eines Detonations- und Dauerbrandlüfters, und
