Description

The invention relates to a device for producing infusion beverages, consisting of a bag made of filter material for receiving particles specific to the respective beverage, which is made of filter material in strip form, which forms a bottom and two starting from the same, of different lengths Side areas are welded impermeable to the particles, while the area opposite the bottom is not welded to form an opening, and in which the longer side area points away from the bottom of the bag in a single layer over the shorter side area and thus beyond the opening (GB-A-549 764).

Devices of this type are used, for example, for the production of tea, to which the following statements relate - representative of other possible uses. The word "tea leaves" is therefore used instead of the word "particle". In addition to the tea egg, which has been known for a long time, sealed bags made from filter material have been used for years in the production of tea, which contain a predetermined amount of tea leaves. Filter bags are also known, into which tea leaves can be filled after being clamped onto a holder.

From EP-B-0 020 598 a device is known which only consists of a bag with an opening There is filter material. The bag is divided into two sections, namely a funnel and a receiving part. The opening of this bag is attached to the front end of the funnel that faces away from the receiving part. There is a passage between the two sections of this known bag, the clear width of which is considerably smaller than the clear width of the receiving part. Filling tea leaves into this bag is difficult. The opening of the initially flat bag is relatively difficult to bring to the size required for filling the tea leaves. Another obstacle for the tea leaves to the receiving part is the narrow passage through which the tea leaves can not easily pass.

Der dadurch gebildete überstehende Rand dient als Verschluß für die Öffnung des Aufgußbeutels und zur Versiegelung desselben.GB-A-549 764 mentioned at the outset describes an infusion bag made of filter material, in which one side area is somewhat longer than the other. The protruding edge thus formed serves as a closure for opening the infusion bag and for sealing the same.

The invention has for its object to make the device described above simpler both in manufacture and for handling.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by
  • that the longer side area as a single-layer tab projects so far beyond the shorter side area and thus beyond the opening of the bag that the tab forms a longitudinally curved feed surface for applying the tea leaves when the opening is widened and
  • that the tab serves as a holder for the bag in an infusion vessel.

This device is simple in design and easy to use. Since the opening is located directly at the end of the bag, which is designed here only as a receiving part for the tea leaves, it does not lie on one end face because of the tab, but in the central region of the device. It can therefore be expanded particularly easily. To fill in the Tea leaves in the bag, the single-layer tab is used to advantage. When the opening of the bag is widened, it is bent in its longitudinal direction and thereby forms a feed surface. If the tea leaves are applied to the curved feed surface, the same acts as a slide when the device is tilted accordingly. As a result, the tea leaves enter the bag in a virtually forced manner. The tab then serves as a holder for the bag when it is placed in a teapot. The tab can be placed over the edge of the teapot and also clamped in the opening of the teapot using a lid. Overall, the device is low in material, since the filter material is only double in the area of the bag. No filter material is lost in the manufacture of the device since no funnel is formed.

In a preferred embodiment, the seams formed when the two side regions are welded diverge in a V-shape in the region of the opening, so that the opening receives oblique edges when it is expanded. The filling of the tea leaves in the bag is further simplified.

Further advantageous embodiments of the invention emerge from the subclaims.

Embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawings.

  • 2 and 3 two different views of the device in an enlarged view.
  • Fig. 4 shows the device in perspective.
  • 5 to 7 of Fig. 2 different embodiments of the device.

In a teapot 1 there is a device 2 in which tea leaves are located. The device 2 shown in more detail in FIGS. 2 to 7 protrudes with one end out of the teapot 1. It is clamped through the lid 3 of the teapot 1 in its opening.

The device 2 consists of filter material which is in strip form. It has two side areas 4 and 5 which are welded together at their edges. The seams 6 formed by the welding are shown in dashed lines. By welding the filter material, a bag 7 is formed, which has a bottom 8 and the two side areas 4 and 5. It has an opening 9 on the side opposite the bottom 8 through which tea leaves can be filled into the bag 7.

The side area 4 is longer than the side area 5. It protrudes beyond the opening 9 on the side facing away from the base 8 and forms a single-layer tab 10. With the tab 10, the device 2 can be clamped, for example, in the teapot 1. However, it also facilitates the filling of tea leaves into the bag 7, since it can be used as a slide. To widen the opening 9, the bag 7 is compressed somewhat in the region of the opening 9. The tab 10 is thereby bent, in such a way that it forms a longitudinally extending feed surface. If tea leaves are applied to the curved tab 10 with the device 2 arranged obliquely, they inevitably slide through the widened opening 9 into the bag 7.

Der verschlossene Boden 8 ist durch das Zurückbiegen gebildet.5, the device can be produced from only one strip. For this purpose, either the shorter side area 5 is obtained by bending it back to rest on the side area 4 and only welded to the same in the edge areas, or vice versa. The closed bottom 8 is formed by the bending back.

The filling of tea leaves into the bag 7 can be made even easier if the seams 6 in the area of the opening 9 are V-shaped apart, as shown in FIG. 6.

Durch die Falte ergibt sich im Beutel 7 im Bereich des Bodens 8 ein vergrößertes Volumen.6 and 7, a fold can be formed at the bottom 8 of the bag. For this purpose, the side areas 4 and 5 are folded over a short distance and only then welded together. The height of the fold is indicated in FIG. 6 by a dash-dotted line 11. The fold results in an increased volume in the bag 7 in the area of the bottom 8.
