Abstract

L'invention concerne la production de mélanges homogènes dont la composition peut être librement choisie. La formation du mélange s'effectue à l'aide d'un récipient-distributeur (1) ayant son propre moteur (6) et des quantités dosées de combustible sont introduites par l'intermédiaire du tuyau d'amenée (10) et de la soupape de dosage (27) dans la chambre primaire (7) du récipient, elles sont ensuite dispersées radialement par la force centrifuge, réparties très finement, puis elles sont mélangées à l'air d'aspiration dans la chambre de mélange (21). La quantité et la composition du mélange sont ajustées au moyen de la soupape de dosage (27) en liaison avec le papillon de réglage (28) de manière que la formation et le transport du mélange s'effectuent à peu près à pression ambiante. Une caractéristique du moteur détermine le réglage optimal de la soupape de dosage et du papillon de réglage pour que le mélange se forme à peu près à pression ambiante tout en améliorant la consommation de carburant et la qualité des gaz d'échappement. En relation avec le système de réglage décrit, l'invention se prête particulièrement à un fonctionnement optimal du moteur à essence avec des mélanges pauvres, à des valeurs lambda d'au moins 1,5 et de 1,8 en général.
