Claims (13)

  1. Vorrichtung zum Verbinden eines Längsteiles eines ersten Bandes (21) aus einem weichen Material auf einen Teil gleicher Länge eines zweiten Bandes (2) aus einem weichen Material, wobei die beiden Bänder in der Vorrichtung mit einer bestimmten Geschwindigkeit auf angenähert parallelen Bahnen im Umlauf sind und miteinander über einem Sektor einer Umfangsoberfläche (60) einer Verbindungsrolle (6) in Kontakt sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Vorrichtung einen Prägearm (3) umfasst, der in einer Ebene, die rechtwinklig zu den Ebenen der zwei Bänder (2, 21) und parallel zu deren Verschieberichtung ist, rotiert, dass ein Hammer (4) vorhanden ist, der eine teilzylinderförmige gerändelte Prägeoberfläche (41) aufweist, wobei der Hammer an einem Ende des Prägearmes montiert ist und dazu vorgesehen ist, auf einem Teil seiner Rotationsbahn, die Prägeoberfläche unmittelbar nahe an die beiden Bänder (2, 21) zu bringen, wobei diese an die Verbindungsrolle (6) angedrückt werden, dies mit einer Tangentialbewegung gleicher Richtung wie die Verschieberichtung der beiden Bänder und mit einer Tangentialgeschwindigkeit, die der Verschiebegeschwindigkeit der beiden Bänder entspricht, und wobei die beiden Bänder auf den genannten Längsteilen zwischen der Prägeoberfläche (41) und der Verbindungsrolle (6) zusammengepresst werden.
  2. Verbindungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Prägearm (3) Mittel (30a, 35, 37, 38) zum radialen Verschieben des Hammers (4) aufweist, um ihn entweder zurückzuziehen, derart, dass im Bereich seiner Drehbewegung nahe der zwei Bänder (2, 21) seine Prägeoberfläche von den zwei Bändern beabstandet ist oder ihn aber so auszufahren, dass die gleiche Prägeoberfläche (41) auf dem gleichen Bereich der Drehbewegung mit den zwei Bändern (2, 21) in Kontakt gelangt.
  3. Verbindungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Prägearm (3) mindestens einen Stab (35) umfasst, an dessen einem Ende der Hammer (4) befestigt ist, wobei der Stab in radialer Richtung in der Rotationsebene des Prägearmes im Innern einer Aussparung (30a) eines drehbaren Trägers (30), an dem die Rotationsachse (31) des Prägearmes vorhanden ist, verschiebbar ist, wobei die radial wirkenden Verschiebemittel einerseits eine Feder (38) aufweisen, welche Feder den Hammer in der zurückgezogenen Position hält und andererseits eine Nocke (37) umfassen, die am anderen Ende des Stabes (35) befestigt ist, als dasjenige Ende, das den Hammer trägt, wobei eine Rolle (53), die am Kolben (52) eines Zylinders (51) angeordnet ist, dessen Körper mit dem Gestell (13) verbunden ist, auf die Nocke (37) einwirkt, sobald der Zylinder (51) betätigt wird, und dabei den Stab (35) in radialer Richtung verschiebt und den Hammer (4) in die ausgefahrene Stellung bringt.
  4. Verbindungsvorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Prägeoberfläche (41) in mehrere Teile unterteilt ist, wobei jeder Teil von seinem benachbarten Teil durch eine Längsrille (41B) und/oder eine Querrille (41C) getrennt ist.
  5. Verbindungsvorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Prägearm (3) mittels einer Rotationsachse (31) mit Antriebsmitteln (34) verbunden ist, wobei die Antriebsmittel erlauben, den angehaltenen Prägearm (3) in einer bestimmten winkligen Position zu halten oder ihn mit einer derartigen Geschwindigkeit drehen zu lassen, dass die tangential gerichtete Geschwindigkeit der Prägeoberfläche (41) des Hammers (4) gleich der längsgerichteten Verschiebegeschwindigkeit der Bänder (2, 21) aus dem weichen Material ist.
  6. Verbindungsvorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass im weiteren eine vordere Schneideinrichtung (8) vorhanden ist, die dazu bestimmt ist, das Ende des einen Bandes (21) aus einem weichen Material auf der Vorderseite der Verbindungsstelle (22) der zwei Bändern (2, 21) abzuschneiden und dass eine hintere Schneideinrichtung (9) vorhanden ist, die dazu bestimmt ist, das Ende des anderen Bandes (2) aus einem weichen Material auf der hinteren Seite der Verbindungsstelle (22) der zwei Bändern (2, 21) abzuschneiden.
  7. Verbindungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die vordere Schneideinrichtung (8) zwei Hebel (80) umfasst, die um eine Achse (81), die parallel zur Rotationsachse des Prägearmes (3) ist, drehbar sind und auf den beiden Seitenflächen des Hammers (4) angeordnet sind, wobei die vorderen Enden der Hebel (80) die Vorderseite des Hammers (4) überragen und eine Schneidklinge (83) tragen, dessen Länge mindestens gleich der Breite des zu schneidenden Bandes (21) ist und dass die hinteren Enden (84) der Hebel (80) über die Prägeoberfläche (41) des Hammers (4) vorstehen, wobei die vordere Schneideinrichtung (8) unter der Wirkung eines Federmittels (85) entweder eine Ruhestellung einnimmt, in der die Klinge (83) nicht dazu vorgesehen ist, das eine Band (21) zu schneiden oder in eine Arbeitsstellung gebracht wird, indem die hinteren Enden (84) der Hebel (80) durch zwei Kontaktoberflächen (62) der Verbindungsrolle (6) betätigt werden, was bewirkt, dass die Schneidklinge (83) zum Schneiden in Querrichtung des einen Bandes (21) aus dem weichen Material beaufschlagt wird.
  8. Verbindungsvorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 6 oder 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die hintere Schneideinrichtung (9) mindestens einen Hebel (90) aufweist, der um eine Achse (91), die parallel zur Rotationsachse der Verbindungsrolle (6) verläuft, drehbar ist und hinter der Verbindungsrolle auf dem gleichen Gestell (13) angeordnet ist, dass ein Teil des Hebels eine Schneidklinge (93) trägt, dessen Länge mindestens gleich der Breite des zu schneidenden Bandes (2) ist, dass die hintere Schneideinrichtung (9) unter der Wirkung eines Federmittels (96) entweder eine Ruhestellung einnimmt, in der die Schneidklinge nicht dazu vorgesehen ist, das andere Band (2) zu schneiden oder in eine Arbeitsstellung gebracht wird, indem ein Ende (94) des Hebels (90) durch einen Teil eines Stiftes (95), der auf einer Seitenfläche des Hammers (4) vorsteht, betätigt wird, um die Schneidklinge (93) zum Schneiden in Querrichtung des anderen Bandes (2) aus dem weichen Material zu beaufschlagen.
  9. Verbindungsvorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 7 oder 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schneidklinge (83) der vorderen Schneideinrichtung (8) und die Schneidklinge (93) der hinteren Schneideinrichtung (9) dazu vorgesehen sind, die Bänder (21.2) in deren Querrichtung dann zu schneiden, wenn der Hammer (4) in der ausgefahrenen Stellung ist.
  10. Verbindungsvorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass im weiteren Steuermittel (7) vorhanden sind, die eine Steuereinheit (70) umfassen, welche zum Detektieren, ob die eine der Spulen (20), die das zweite Band (2) aus dem weichen Material liefert fast leer ist, vorgesehen ist, und zum Steuern des in Rotationbringens des Prägearmes (3) und des Einstellens seiner Rotationsgeschwindigkeit, derart bestimmt ist, dass die Tangentialgeschwindigkeit der Prägeoberfläche (41) des Hammers (4) gleich der Verschiebegeschwindigkeit der zwei Bänder (2, 21) ist und welche Steuereinheit dann den Prägesteuerzylinder (51) betätigt, wenn die Winkelstellung des Prägearmes (3) in einer ersten bestimmten Stellung ist und die Betätigung des Zylinders wieder einstellt, sobald die Verbindung (22) ausgeführt worden ist und welche Steuereinheit im weiteren die Drehbewegung des Prägearmes (3) in einer zweiten bestimmten winkligen Stellung anhält.

  12. Verwendung einer Verbindungsvorrichtung nach einem der Patentansprüche 1 bis 10, zum Verbinden von zwei Papierbändern aus Zigarettenpapier oder Umhüllungspapier an einer Zigarettenherstellmaschine.
  13. Verwendung der Verbindungsvorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10 zum Verbinden von zwei dünnen Aluminiumbändern.
