Description

The invention is based on a fastening device with the features specified in the preamble of claim 1.

Such a fastening device is from DE-2 616 968 C2. Located in the known antenna itself at the upper end of a protective tube for receiving a Telescopic rod (antenna rod) of the antenna as a lower part a ring with one on it Earth contact ring. On the pipe socket is also a conical fastening top attached, which through a clamping nut screwed onto the pipe socket the mounting base is clamped. Between the Earth contact ring on the mounting base and the The upper part of the fastening is the body panel, which has a hole through which the pipe socket from below is pushed through to the stop. By Tightening the tension nut becomes the body panel clamped between the lower part and the upper part and thereby the antenna with its antenna base on Body sheet fastened. Although the antenna base on located at the upper end of the protective tube, it carries this Name because he is with the telescopic rod extended located at its lower end.

In the vehicle antenna shown in DE-26 16 968 C2 is the body panel and that The antenna runs at right angles to the body panel, so that the cutout in the body panel, through which the pipe socket of the antenna is passed through, is a circular hole. However, that is in the Practice not the rule. Usually runs the area of the body panel through which the Antenna to be passed, inclined and pierced the antenna pointed the body panel in one Angle, with the body panel in general not exactly, but is arched. The section in Body panel through which the antenna is passed is therefore not circular in practice, but oval with from vehicle type to vehicle type of different shapes. For a mechanical stable mounting of an antenna in a body is a positive connection of the antenna base with the edge of the cutout in the body panel required. For this purpose, the antenna base has on his Bottom usually a peripheral portion, the exactly the contour of the edge of the cutout in the body panel and then has a stop surface, especially in the form of a collar, which is shaped so that it is from below Edge area of the cut-out nestles in the body panel. These two components result in a stable one and defined position of the antenna on the vehicle, so that in vehicles of a series, the antenna is not only has a constant orientation, but the Antenna also a constant reception behavior shows as far as it is of constant orientation the antenna rod relative to the surface of the body depends.

Because the shape of the body panel and thus the Shape of the cutout in the body panel of vehicle type varies to vehicle type, you need for different Vehicle types designed differently Antenna feet, which is expensive.

From US-4,136,986 is a fastening device with the in the preamble of Claim 1 specified features known, which allows it in a plane Body panel with a circular cutout in an antenna different inclination to arrange the perpendicular to the body panel Center axis of the circular section to rotate and in any To fix rotation angle positions. A stable location is therefore not in one circular still achievable in an oval section of a body panel.

The present invention is therefore based on the object to show a way like that to the multitude constructive effort due to vehicle types for fastening antenna feet in body panel cutouts can be reduced.

This object is achieved by a fastening device with the features specified in claim 1. Beneficial Developments of the invention are the subject of dependent claims.

The invention uses the knowledge that it is to achieve a defined position of the antenna in a section a body panel is not required, that the mounting base of the antenna on the circumference has a contour that matches the circumferential contour of the cutout matches in the body panel; it is sufficient rather, the bottom part of the fastening of the body panel in the area surrounding the cutout let it strike (as known per se) and the desired position and orientation of the pipe socket to force the antenna in the cutout by the antenna base at two points on the edge of the cutout in the body panel, namely on the two vertices of the section that lie there, where the cutout has its largest diameter. Two protrusions are left at exactly these two vertices of the antenna base in the cutout of the body panel intervene, the from the outer edge to the outer edge measured distance of the projections equal to the largest Diameter of the oval section or only slightly is smaller. The antenna base can then not in the cutout or only slightly twisted.

For positioning the antenna base in the cutout to provide two such projections of the body panel, is only part of the present invention. For complete solution of the task is part of that at the antenna base several positions to intervene projections in the cutout of the body panel are provided so that two or more than two Pairs of protrusions that can be formed distinguish in their mutual distances and between which each through the cutout in the body panel leading section of the pipe socket of the Antenna lies. Any such pair of protrusions will fit to an oval section of a body panel, see above that one and the same antenna base, according to the number of positions for pairs of protrusions, for various cutouts in body panels are suitable is. The number of for different vehicle types required antenna feet can therefore be drastically reduced.

There are for the practical implementation of the invention different possibilities. So the positions for the projections through holes in the lower part of the fastening be formed or upper part, these holes take a pin as a ledge. The holes could threaded holes and the pins set screws be. You then get along with two pens, depending on the Vehicle type screwed into two suitable holes will. The holes could also be cylindrical holes be pressed into each of which a pin as a projection can be. In this case too, you can in principle get by with two pins that are installed before installing the Antenna base are pressed into the appropriate holes. But it is also possible to use all existing ones Holes to press in from the outset pins and those which when installing the antenna in a particular Disturb vehicle type to remove by pulling them out or knocking out or just breaking off, to the Relief is advantageously a predetermined breaking point provides in the pen. There is also the possibility the fastening part from which the protrusions stand out as a casting and form the protrusions cast in one piece with the fastener. Also in this case, one preferably sees predetermined breaking points on the protrusions in order to avoid unnecessary and annoying Break off protrusions before mounting on the vehicle to be able to.

It is in principle indifferent whether the projections on the lower part or on the upper part are located. You can also use the lower part of the attachment and partly on the top part of the fastening. In the latter case, it must also be ensured that that the fastening lower part and to the fastening upper part cannot be turned against each other, what is easiest to achieve by having one of the engaging in the recess of the body panel Projections into a recess in the opposite Fastener protrudes; the intended recess is preferably a slot which is in relation to the Radial or centerline of the pipe socket of the antenna i.w. runs radially and thus a twisting of the upper fastening part and fastening lower part against each other prevented, but at the same time a tolerance and position compensation in the longitudinal direction of the slot enables.

The projections are preferably predominantly on the mounting base, because this is usually made of metal and at the same time that for Function of the antenna with important ground contact the body panel, whereas the fastening upper part more often consists of plastic and / or is sealed with a seal to prevent the ingress of Splashing and splashing water in the neckline of the To prevent bodywork.

A preferred embodiment is characterized by this from that a projection is provided on the upper fastening part and is in a recess of the lower mounting part extends, whereas the rest Positions for protrusions on one protrusion opposite side of the pipe socket and on the lower fastening part are attached from where they are in extend the recess of the body panel, however do not engage in the upper part of the fastening have to. In this case it comes on the top part of the fastening intended projection in any case, of the rest, provided on the lower fastening part, But only one protrusion, the remaining protrusions, unless there is space for them in the border of the The cutout in the body panel is removed before assembly will.

In the case of different vehicle types from one manufacturer, the body panel often has a similar inclination and curvature in the vicinity of the cutout provided for the installation of the antenna; This one adjusts the shape of the surface of the fastening lower part as well as the fastening upper part as far as possible, so that for each of the different possible applications a sufficiently stable position of the fastening parts on the body panel, which on the upper side due to the already required provision of a deformable Splash and splash water seal is unproblematic. On the underside of the body panel, one can dispense with a full-surface contact of the lower part of the body panel and be satisfied with only partial support of the lower part of the body panel, as long as the number and position of the support points (three-point bearing) is such that a stable Location results. The only partial support of the lower mounting part on the body panel even has the advantage that a more reliable ground contact can be made between the antenna and the body panel because the pressure of the lower mounting part against the body panel is greater with only partial support than with full-surface support . A preferred development of the invention takes advantage of this by providing on the lower part a ring of springs, which includes the entirety of the positions of projections, and which protrude beyond the surface of the lower part facing the upper part. On the one hand, these springs compensate for deviations in shape between the contact surface of the fastening lower part and the contour of the body panel and at the same time create a ring of ground contact points around the pipe socket of the antenna, which is advantageous for the electrical behavior of the antenna. In order to achieve a strong pressure, the springs are preferably designed as leaf springs. The leaf springs could be part of an oval ground contact ring adapted to the contour of the body panel, from which leaf spring tabs are bent and set up at an angle. However, holes are preferably provided in the lower fastening part, into which the leaf springs are individually pressed in as captive elements. When mounting the antenna, it is therefore not necessary to ensure that a ground contact ring is seated correctly.
If you want to make an ohmic ground contact, the leaf springs are expediently made pointed so that their tips can claw into the underside of the body panel. If, on the other hand, you want to make a capacitive ground contact, the leaf springs are not made to be pointed, but in such a way that they make at least one linear or, preferably, flat contact with the underside of the body panel, which can have a dielectric coating on the underside.

The antenna base has a pipe socket 1 through which a telescopic rod passes through at its tip a head 3, which when inserting the Telescopic rod strikes at the upper edge of the pipe socket 1. There is a fastening lower part on the pipe socket from below 5 until it stops on one shoulder 4 postponed and fixed. The lower part 5 has a support surface 7, which is at an acute angle to the longitudinal center line 6 of the pipe socket 1 runs and for adjustment the shape of the underside of a body panel 8 is arched. The bearing surface 7 has an oval Outline and immediate vicinity of its edge one Wreath of holes 9, in each of which a double angled Leaf spring 10 is pressed, which with their Tip protrudes over the contact surface 7 and at the pressure exerted against its spring force a recess 11 in the support surface 7 can retreat. Almost in alignment with its largest diameter 13 is located in the lower part of the lower part a - based on the longitudinal center line 6 - approximately radially extending slot 12. On the side facing away from it Side of the pipe socket 1 has the lower part 5 three projections 14, 15 and 16 in the vicinity of the largest diameter 13. The protrusions 14, 15 and 16 are pressed into holes 17 of the lower part and located itself within the ring of leaf springs 10.

A fastening upper part also belongs to the antenna base 18 with a support surface facing the lower part 5, which has an oval outline and in the contour is adapted to the course of the body panel 8. For fixing The antenna in the body panel becomes the antenna from below forth with their pipe socket through the designated Cutout 19 in the cross plate until the Lower part 5 with its contact surface 7 on the body panel 8 strikes. Then, from above, insert one Seal 20, the upper part 18 put on the pipe socket 1, so that one of the bearing surface of the upper part 18 down protruding projection 21, which is a in a bore of the upper part 18 pressed-in pin or one Upper part 18 molded nose can act in the slot 12 of the lower part engages. The antenna base is positioned that the projection 21 at the lower apex 22 of the cutout 19 comes to rest, and that one of the projections 14, 15 and 16, in the example shown the projection 14, at the opposite, upper vertex 23 of the detail 19 comes to rest. The one closer to the projection 21 Projection 16 then projects freely and ineffectively the cutout 19 into it. The one from the projection 19 on remote projection 15 would next to the edge of the Section 19 meet and is the body panel 8 therefore remove before installing the antenna base.

The projections 21 and 14 together lay the location of the Antenna foot in the cutout 19. The fixation of the antenna base is done in that a nut 24 is screwed onto the pipe socket 1, which the lower part 5 against the body panel 8 pulls and at the same time the upper part 18 over the seal 20 presses against the top of the body panel, whereby the body panel between lower part 5 and Upper part 18 is clamped. The above are the same Leaf springs 10 shape deviations between the contact surface 7 of the lower part and the body panel 8 and at the same time bring about a reliable ground contact distributed in several around the pipe socket 1 Put.

In Figur 6 ist beispielhaft dargestellt, wie mit ein und demselben Antennenfuß unter Ausnutzung unterschiedlicher Vorsprünge 14, 15 und 16 unterschiedliche Ausschnitte im Karosserieblech, deren Randkurven 25 dargestellt sind, abgedeckt werden können.FIG. 6 shows an example of how with one and the same antenna base using different ones Projections 14, 15 and 16 different Cutouts in the body panel, the edge curves 25 can be covered.
