Definitions
- the invention relates to a lighting device for rooms, in particular for offices.
- Targeted lighting of certain areas of the room, in particular of the work surfaces, is possible via the projector lights and the light deflection slats, whereby no electrical cables have to be installed on the ceiling itself, but practical deflection elements have to be attached.
- a further additional light is provided according to the invention, which advantageously illuminates the ceiling and thus as an indirect one diffuse ceiling lighting provides background lighting that resolves the light pressure generated by the projector lights and light deflection elements. This results in an overall pleasant room lighting with excellent illumination of the work surfaces or other targeted room areas, wherein the additional lamp can preferably be arranged in the region of the upper half of a wall.
- the additional lamp can preferably be arranged in the region of the upper half of a wall.
- the lighting device according to the invention also permits a modular structure in which numerous different room situations can be ideally detected from the components of the projector lamp, light deflecting element, additional lamp, the basic elements of the lighting device being essentially the same in order to adapt to the respective special room and the position of the work surfaces therein can remain and only have to be adjusted in their relative arrangement.
- This allows a modular, low-cost structure, especially for larger office buildings.
- a lighting device for rooms with at least one work surface for example a desk which is accessible from the front
- that the projector lamp (s) and the deflection element (s) are arranged in such a way that the light reaches the work surface through an imaginary vertical surface containing the front of the work surface.
- illumination takes place obliquely from behind and above. Glare from objects placed on the table or the work surface, such as, for example, transparent films for a person in front of the front of the work surface, is thus ruled out.
- the room 1 shown in FIG. 1 has a room ceiling 2, a rear wall 3 and a front wall 4, in which the windows 5 are arranged. There is a work surface 6 in the room which is to be illuminated. Overall, a pleasantly lit office space is to be created.
- a light deflecting element 8 (for example a mirror) is arranged on the ceiling, which deflects the light coming from the projector lamp 7 downwards onto the work surface 6.
- an additional light 9 is arranged in the rear wall 3 opposite the front wall 4, which illuminates the ceiling 2 and thus provides diffuse background lighting.
- dashed lines indicate the illuminance curve of this backlight caused by the additional light 9 at the height of the work surface 6.
- the additional light is arranged in the upper area of the room wall 3 and practically only illuminates the ceiling (ie hardly the walls) over a large area.
- Protected and visually appealing accommodation of the additional light 9 in the interior of the room wall 3 is possible, as shown in FIG. 1, for example.
- a good distribution of the room lighting by the projector lights on the one hand and the additional light on the other hand results when the projector lights and the additional light are arranged at opposite ends of the room, as shown in Fig. 1, it being more favorable if the light deflecting elements are closer to the associated projector lights.
- a defined light guidance should thus be ensured via the light deflection elements, while the large-area background lighting is accomplished via the additional light 9.
- the auxiliary light 9 can also have a mercury vapor lamp, which allows a high luminous efficiency with low power consumption.
- the projector lights 7 can advantageously be arranged in the window parapet.
- the necessary electrical supply lines are generally easily accessible there.
- the deflection elements are constructed from a plurality of individual reflectors 8a to 8d, as is the case, for example, in FIG. 2, a pleasant resolution of the effective light source in partial light sources can be achieved. A high level of glare from certain viewing directions can thus be avoided.
- Fig. 2 shows in the floor plan a so-called 2-axis office, with a main work station 6 and a meeting table 6 ', which only requires lower illuminance levels.
- the work surface 6 has a front side 6a, in front of which a chair 10 is arranged.
- the light from the projector lamp 7 now reaches the work surface 6 via the deflecting element 8 on the ceiling from obliquely above (through the imaginary vertical surface which contains the front side 6a). Even if reflective foils or the like on this work surface 6. lying on, this does not lead to glare for the person sitting on the chair 10. In the screen 11, too, there is no disruptive glare due to the targeted illumination of the surface 6.
- the backlight is provided by the additional light 9, which illuminates the ceiling.
- Fig. 3 shows in the floor plan a so-called 3-axis office for two employees.
- Two work surfaces 6 are provided, each of which is illuminated by projector lights and deflection elements 8 on the ceiling.
- the backlight can provide an additional light 9.
- Fig. 4 shows in the floor plan a so-called 3-axis office for three employees. Again, passive light deflection elements arranged on the ceiling provide for the lighting of the respective work surface 6. A single additional light 9 is sufficient for the background lighting (illuminating the room ceiling).

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a lighting device for rooms, in particular for offices.
In office rooms in particular, it is important to illuminate the work area well, but avoid localizing high luminance levels. In addition, one would like to avoid table lamps or the like that restrict freedom of movement in the area of the work surface itself.
- at least one projector lamp shining upwards (7)
- at least one light deflecting element (8) arranged in the area of the ceiling (2) for deflecting the light thrown upwards by the projector lamp (s) (7), and
- at least one additional light (9) illuminating the ceiling (2) next to the light deflecting element (s) (8).
Targeted lighting of certain areas of the room, in particular of the work surfaces, is possible via the projector lights and the light deflection slats, whereby no electrical cables have to be installed on the ceiling itself, but practical deflection elements have to be attached.
Since the width of the light cone of the projector lights cannot be made arbitrarily large due to the risk of glare and, on the other hand, the area next to the work surfaces should also be illuminated for a pleasant impression of the room, a further additional light is provided according to the invention, which advantageously illuminates the ceiling and thus as an indirect one diffuse ceiling lighting provides background lighting that resolves the light pressure generated by the projector lights and light deflection elements. This results in an overall pleasant room lighting with excellent illumination of the work surfaces or other targeted room areas, wherein the additional lamp can preferably be arranged in the region of the upper half of a wall. On the one hand, glare is excluded when illuminating the ceiling, and on the other hand no electrical cables are necessary in the ceiling.
The lighting device according to the invention also permits a modular structure in which numerous different room situations can be ideally detected from the components of the projector lamp, light deflecting element, additional lamp, the basic elements of the lighting device being essentially the same in order to adapt to the respective special room and the position of the work surfaces therein can remain and only have to be adjusted in their relative arrangement. This allows a modular, low-cost structure, especially for larger office buildings.
According to a preferred variant of the invention, in the case of a lighting device for rooms with at least one work surface (for example a desk) which is accessible from the front, that the projector lamp (s) and the deflection element (s) are arranged in such a way that the light reaches the work surface through an imaginary vertical surface containing the front of the work surface. With an arrangement of this type, illumination takes place obliquely from behind and above. Glare from objects placed on the table or the work surface, such as, for example, transparent films for a person in front of the front of the work surface, is thus ruled out.
Further advantages and details of the invention are explained in more detail with reference to the description of the figures below.

The
In order to avoid glare, it is advantageous if the additional light is arranged in the upper area of the
A good distribution of the room lighting by the projector lights on the one hand and the additional light on the other hand results when the projector lights and the additional light are arranged at opposite ends of the room, as shown in Fig. 1, it being more favorable if the light deflecting elements are closer to the associated projector lights. This makes it possible for the
Like the projector lights 7, the
Spielge, which can be flat or curved, are suitable as deflection elements.
If the deflection elements are constructed from a plurality of
Fig. 2 shows in the floor plan a so-called 2-axis office, with a
Light is thrown onto the light deflecting
Fig. 3 shows in the floor plan a so-called 3-axis office for two employees. Two
Fig. 4 shows in the floor plan a so-called 3-axis office for three employees.
