Abstract

L'invention concerne un porte-outil à double tourelle pour un tour, qui comporte deux disques tourelles (16, 18) solidaires en rotation, montés coaxialement l'un dans l'autre. Ces deux disques tourelles (16, 18) peuvent être déplacés en continu, axialement l'un par rapport à l'autre, par un mécanisme de commande (44) et peuvent être placés dans toutes les positions relatives voulues, par serrage. Afin de pouvoir également usiner des pièces (14) des deux côtés, avec des outils rotatifs, par exemple des meules de rectification (28, 30), des dispositifs de serrage d'outil alignés (24, 26) sont montés rotatifs au moins en un point de la circonférence des disques tourelles (16, 18) et peuvent être accouplés les uns aux autres par un arbre d'entraînement (46) qui s'étend entre les disques tourelles.
