Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a store for supplying flat objects. It also relates to a device for unstacking flat objects equipped with this store.
  • the mail is placed on edge on a carpet, against a pallet. Thanks to a motorization, which can be simultaneous, of the carpet and the pallet, the mail advances towards the gripper.
  • the carpet leads to an abrupt change in level, called below.
  • the mail then falls into the supply store which is adjacent to the gripper.
  • the gripper includes vacuum zones in front of which a perforated belt passes.
  • the mail When leaving the gripper, the mail passes in front of the vacuum zone of the double outlet separator, located on the other side of the mail. This body retains the mail which would be driven by friction by the previous mail, so as to let go only one mail at a time.
  • the mail is taken up in an evacuator which provides the interface between the unstacking device and a sorting device.
  • the object of the invention is to remedy these drawbacks by proposing a store for supplying flat objects, which allows the processing of mail of variable height, while minimizing faults, in particular double sockets.
  • the store for supplying flat objects comprising a substantially flat bottom delimited by a first so-called drop edge adjacent to means for conveying flat objects in a predetermined direction of transport and by a second edge called by gripping comprising means for attracting against said second edge the first object of a stack of flat objects situated on said sole and moving this object towards transfer means in a predetermined transfer direction
  • the sole comprises a first part adjacent to the edge of fall and a second part forming a retention zone located near said grip edge and having a high coefficient of friction much higher than that of the first part of the sole.
  • the retention area thus receives mail pending unstacking.
  • the frictional force generated at the base of the folds allows them not to be driven prematurely. Only the first fold in front of the gripping means will be driven by the latter in the transfer direction.
  • a device for unstacking flat objects comprising conveying means, a supply magazine according to the invention comprising a bottom demilitated respectively by a drop edge and an edge of gripping, gripping means for retaining a ply and driving it in a predetermined transfer direction to transfer means, characterized in that the sole comprises a retention zone arranged near the gripping edge and arranged to brake any movement according to the direction of transfer of a fold located in said retention zone.
  • the device for unstacking flat objects 10 comprises conveying means 14, supply means 20, a gripping device 7, a device for separating double sockets 11 and a transfer device 16.
  • the conveying means 14 comprise a conveyor belt 14 and a pallet 17 having a predetermined angle of inclination relative to the vertical.
  • a stack of mail is placed on edge on the mat 14 and leaned against the pallet 17. Thanks to a motorization of the mat 14 and the pallet 17, the mail is pushed along a predetermined direction of delivery Da towards the gripper 7.
  • the other edge 6 of the magazine is constituted by a face of the gripper 7 which comprises a perforated belt 15 rotating around several pulleys 2, 3, 4, 5 and a vacuum device 12 placed inside the belt 15. At least one of the four pulleys is mechanically connected to a motorisation member (not shown) to drive the belt 15 in a predetermined direction of rotation such that the fold supported by the gripper 7 is driven towards the transfer device 16.
  • the sole 26 of the magazine 'supply 20 includes a retention zone 21 consisting for example of a strip of a material with a high coefficient of friction and having good abrasion resistance. This retention zone is adjacent to the gripping face 6 of the gripper 7.
  • this object is then set in motion by means of the belt 15 in a direction of transfer Dt parallel to the gripping face 6 to be supported by the transfer device 16.
  • the object 8 immediately following the first object in the stack is placed on edge in the retention zone 21. The force generated at the base of this second object 8 helps prevent it from being trained prematurely, eliminating the risk of a double grip.
  • the sole 26 thus comprises a first part 27 adjacent to the falling edge 24 and a second part having a high coefficient of friction much higher than that of the first part and constituted by the retention zone 21 which is adjacent to or near the edge of gripping 6. It is necessary to produce a neat interface 31 between the first part 27 of the sole 26 and the retention zone 21 in order to avoid any risk of catching a fold.
  • a possible technical solution consists in producing a tiling 31, with reference to FIG. 3: the bottom 26 partially covers the retention zone 21 substantially adjacent to the gripping face 6 of the gripper (not shown) and produced for example with a material with a high coefficient of friction such as polyethylene. This curling or covering eliminates the risk of catching a fold just falling on the floor 26 of the supply store 30.
  • a retention zone can be produced by using on a part of the floor 26 of the magazine 40 a drive device 44 comprising a motorized adherent belt 45 and pulleys 42, 43. It is the upper face 41 of the belt which then constitutes the retention zone.
  • the sole 26 should preferably partially cover one end of the drive device 44, the other end of which is substantially adjacent to the gripping face 6.
  • the adhesive belt 41 moves in such a way so that it cooperates with the gripping means 7 to press the first fold of the stack of folds present on the sole 26 against the gripping face 6.
  • the belt 41 is preferably made of an adhesive material so that the folds according to the first fold are braked significantly in their lateral movement when the first fold is driven laterally by the gripping means 7.
  • a retention zone 51 consisting of a succession of small adherent zones 51-55, with reference to FIG. 5.
  • These zones can for example be of substantially rectangular shape and regularly arranged on the floor 26 of the store. They are preferably made of a material having a high coefficient of friction and good resistance to abrasion.
  • the coefficients of friction of the components of the retention zone 21, 41, 51 must be much greater than those of the other parts 27, 28, 29 of the sole 26.
  • the width of the retention zone and the nature of the constituent material constitute design parameters depending on the overall characteristics of the unstacking device and the choice of these parameters does not limit the scope of the invention.
