Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a multi-blade frame for obtaining slabs by sawing granite blocks.
The multi-blade frame according to the invention is defined in claim 1 and it differs in fact from the prior art in that it is provided with a device which allows the movement of its blade holder following a stroke to large radius of curvature, much greater than the distance between the center of rotation of the device and the blade holder frame, this in order to significantly increase the length of the oscillation radius of the latter, until presenting a useful portion practically straight running.
Each oscillation device is constituted by a balance-support, from which two connecting rods with an S-shaped profile, animated by a pendulum movement and crossed with respect to each other. At its base, one of the two connecting rods, more precisely the internal connecting rod, is connected by a beam to the corresponding connecting rod arranged on the opposite side, in order to constitute a single body with the latter and to guarantee linearity, in the lateral direction of travel of the blade holder, while the other connecting rod is coupled by a pivot to a sole secured to the blade holder, in the same way as the opposite connecting rod.
The oscillating movement is provided by the usual connecting rod and crank device, well known in installations of this kind.
For the rest, the multi-blade frame has the classic characteristics of multi-blade frames for sawing granite blocks, so that these structures will not be described in detail nor illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
Sur ce dessin :
- La figure 1 est une vue schématique en perspective montrant le bâti multi-lames suivant l'invention ;
- Figure 1 is a schematic perspective view showing the multi-blade frame according to the invention;
- FIG. 2 schematically represents the oscillation radii of a multi-blade frame of the usual type, respectively of a frame produced in accordance with the invention, the dimensions being indicated simply by way of nonlimiting example.
As can be seen in fig. 1, the multi-blade frame 1 carries on each of its pillars a
The
It will be noted that the crossed arrangement of the two
By way of nonlimiting example, there is illustrated in FIG. 2 two oscillation spokes, namely a first 15 of traditional type, and another 16 corresponding to the oscillating device, of a support according to the invention and it will be noted that the traditional oscillation radius has, always in the example illustrated, a value of 1000 mm with curvilinear stroke lengths relative to the tangent line, which vary from 3.2 - 12.9 and 31.8 mm for a distance from the axis of oscillation of 80 - 160 and 250 mm, while with the adoption of the oscillating supports according to the invention, the oscillation radius reaches 2,500 mm, which implies for the distances of the vertical oscillation axis of 80 - 160 and 250 mm a distance from the horizontal of 1.3 - 5.1 - 12.5 mm.
It is evident from this schematic example that if the stroke of the blade holder fitted with support devices according to the invention always has a curvilinear appearance, the radius of curvature is extremely higher compared to a blade holder supported by four pendulum supports of the conventional type, and therefore much closer to the ideal rectilinear course, which obviously implies improved results, too good on the cutting speed performance than ultimately on working times.
