Definitions

  • the invention relates to a mobile high-pressure cleaning device with wheels or rollers at least at its rear end and with a handle for moving the high-pressure cleaning device which engages at its front end.
  • a mobile high-pressure cleaning device with wheels or rollers at least at its rear end and with a handle for moving the high-pressure cleaning device which engages at its front end.
  • Such advice is known from WO-A-92/16 313.
  • high-pressure cleaning devices which can be moved by means of a handle.
  • Such high-pressure cleaning devices usually only have a pair of rollers at their rear end and are pulled behind by the user in the manner of a two-wheeled cart. Since the devices are relatively small, the handles are bulky relative to the device, so that space problems may arise when storing the devices.
  • a mobile high-pressure cleaning device of the type described at the outset in that the handle is mounted on the high-pressure cleaning device so as to be pivotable about an axis running parallel to the axis of the wheels or rollers, and is designed such that it is angled or bent such that the handle, which is supported on the surface, is his free end is directed obliquely or vertically upward, and that in the upward section of the handle on this also upward receptacles for device accessories are arranged.
  • a handle that can be swiveled in this way enables space-saving storage, since the handle can be swiveled in during storage.
  • the device can also be easily transported with a swiveling handle, the device then hangs on the handle, so to speak, so that perfect transportation is ensured.
  • the handling of the device as a whole is considerably improved in that the handle is due to its special design is designed to accommodate accessories.
  • a pivotable handle it is bent or angled in such a way that it is supported on the floor between its pivot bearing and the free end. This results in receptacles for accessories, for example for jet pipes, washing brushes, etc., which point upwards and are therefore easily accessible.
  • the receptacles are insertion sleeves for jet pipes.
  • an insertion sleeve can preferably be arranged on both sides of the handle. It is expedient if the insertion sleeves are formed by curved tabs formed on the outside of the handle, so it is not at all necessary to design the quiver tubes which surround the sides.
  • the receptacles are sliding guides for a washing brush. It is advantageous if the sliding guide is arranged between two insertion sleeves.
  • the slide guide comprises two laterally open, parallel grooves into which the edge of the bristle plate of a washing brush can be inserted.
  • Handling is facilitated if the handle carries at its free end a handle bar extending transversely to its longitudinal direction.
  • the handle has two parallel legs, between which, for example, the receptacle for the washing brush can be located, while the insertion sleeves for jet pipes are each arranged on the outside of the two legs.
  • a handle bar at the free end is then designed as a bridge connecting the two legs.
  • a very particularly advantageous embodiment is obtained when the dimensions of the handle are adapted to the outer contour of the high-pressure cleaning device in such a way that the handle with its part having the receptacles can be folded parallel to the top of the device. In the folded or folded position the part of the handle facing the free end and the receptacles arranged thereon for accessories lie parallel to and close to the top, so that on the one hand a very space-saving arrangement can be obtained and that on the other hand space-saving accessories directly parallel to Top of the device can be stored.
  • the free end of the handle does not protrude rearward over the high-pressure cleaning device when the holder is folded down; this contributes to generally accommodating the handle essentially within the outline of the high-pressure cleaning device and in particular also allows the high-pressure cleaning device to be placed upright.
  • a particularly favorable division of space results if the high-pressure cleaning device and the handle between the articulation point of the handle on the high-pressure cleaning device and the rear upper edge of the high-pressure cleaning device likewise have a curved contour.
  • the folded handle then hugs the contour of the high-pressure cleaning device and is particularly space-saving when it is folded down.
  • the handle covers a switch on the top of the high-pressure cleaning device in its position folded onto the top of the high-pressure cleaning device.
  • the handle can be plate-shaped in this area. This prevents the switch from being operated unintentionally until the handle has been folded into the extended position.
  • the handle has, in the region of its mounting, a handle web which runs essentially coaxially to the pivot axis.
  • the rear side of the high-pressure cleaning device opposite the articulation point of the handle is designed as a standing surface for the high-pressure cleaning device pivoted by 90 ° with respect to the working position. This allows it to be placed upright, with the receptacles then being essentially vertically upward when the handle is folded down, that is to say they can be loaded from above. This results in a particularly favorable storage position that requires little floor space and in which the receptacles for accessories are particularly accessible.
  • the mobile high-pressure cleaning device shown in the drawing comprises a housing 1, at the rear lower end of which wheels 2 are mounted on opposite sides. These protrude downwards and backwards. In the working position, the housing 1 is supported by these impellers 2 and a support 4 on the underside 3 of the housing on the bottom 5. At the rear 6, a footprint 7 is aligned with the impellers 2 so that the housing 1 can also be pivoted upright on a support surface, which is formed by the footprint 7 on the one hand and the two impellers 2 on the other hand.
  • the essential units of a high-pressure cleaning device are accommodated in a manner known per se, that is to say in particular a pump and a pump Pump driving electric motor, in addition 1 connections are provided in the housing for the supply of the cleaning medium to be pumped and for the delivery.
  • a switch 9 for switching the electric motor driving the pump on and off.
  • the contour of the housing 1 is chosen in the illustrated embodiment so that it forms an arc from a front end 10 opposite the wheels 2 to the footprint 7, which is more curved in the area of the front end 10 than in the tapering to the footprint 7 Part.
  • a handle 11 is pivotally articulated on the housing 1 about a pivot axis running parallel to the axis of rotation of the running wheels 2, which comprises two parallel legs 12, 13, each of which is connected to one another at its ends by a handle web 14 or 15.
  • the handle web 14 close to the housing is arranged coaxially to the pivot axis of the handle, so it practically surrounds this pivot axis.
  • the two legs 12 and 13 experience a further connection by means of a connecting plate 16 which adjoins the front handle web and a handle opening 17 adjacent to it.
  • the two legs 12 and 13 of the handle 11 are bent or angled in their longitudinal direction, so that a first arcuate section 18 connects to the handle web 14, which then under Formation of an angle merges into a rectilinear second section 19 which extends to the handle bar 15.
  • the underside of the handle 11 forms a support 20; if necessary, an additional projection on the handle 11 can form this support 20 in this area.
  • the handle 11 rests in the pivoted-out state (FIG. 1) with the support 20 on the base 5, so that the straight section 19 protrudes obliquely upwards from this support point. From this position, a user can move the housing 1 by grasping the handle on the handle bar 15 and lifting it up, the front end 10 of the housing 1 also being raised; the housing is then movable on the wheels 2.
  • the handle 11 can be folded back onto the device. Due to the curved or angled shape of the handle 11, it fits closely in the angled state to the arcuate contour of the housing 1 on its upper side, the section 19 lies horizontally when the handle 11 is folded, that is to say parallel to the underside 3 and thus essentially also parallel to the top 8 ( Figure 2).
  • the length of the handle 11 is chosen so that it does not protrude rearward over the footprint 7.
  • the high-pressure cleaning device takes up little space, the space requirement essentially becomes given by the dimensions of the housing, the handle increases these dimensions only slightly.
  • the housing 1 can also be stored upright when the handle 11 is folded.
  • the housing 1 can be gripped on the handle bar 14 and placed upright, the device then stands on the one hand on the standing surface 7 and on the other hand on the wheels 2, the section 19 of the handle 11 then being arranged vertically next to the device.
  • the folded handle 11 covers with its connecting plate 16, the switch 9 on the top 8 of the housing 1, so that it can only be actuated when the handle 11 is folded out.
  • each leg 12, 13 there is a receiving sleeve 21 for a high-pressure cleaning gun or for a jet pipe or another tubular object.
  • This receiving sleeve 21 is formed by bent flaps 22 formed on the outside of the legs 12, 13.
  • the receiving sleeve 21 is directed obliquely upward, so the user can insert or remove a jet pipe or a high-pressure cleaning gun in a very convenient manner.
  • the section 19 could also protrude vertically upwards, so that the receiving sleeve would then also not be directed obliquely upwards, but vertically upwards. In this case, too, a tubular object could easily be inserted into the receptacle.
  • An obliquely upward arrangement of the Section 19 is particularly advantageous, however, since such an arrangement is particularly easily accessible to the user.
  • a receptacle for a washing brush 23 is arranged above the connecting plate 16.
  • L-shaped rails 24 projecting upwards are formed on both longitudinal edges of the connecting plate 16 and, together with the connecting plate 16, form open grooves 25 at both ends on the opposite side.
  • a bristle plate 26 of the washing brush 23 can be inserted into these grooves.
  • a recess 27 can be formed in the connecting plate 16, into which the pipe connection of the washing brush 23 fits when the washing brush 23 is pushed into the receptacle.
  • the user therefore has an upward-facing and therefore easily accessible storage area for various accessories.
