Definitions
- the invention relates to a container system which is constructed from basic elements.
- the object of the invention is to develop a container system which is versatile, easy to handle, has a robust construction and is suitable as reusable packaging.
- a container system which is made up of modular container elements that can be combined to form containers.
- the side walls of each container element have an upper wall section and a lower wall section which are offset from one another to form a shoulder.
- the container elements can be gripped easily, in particular mechanically for transport and storage, for example by manipulating the forks of a forklift. Since the upper wall section is offset from the lower wall section, the empty container elements can be stacked well into one another, so that a space-saving return transport of the container elements is ensured.
- the container elements can be stacked with their ends open at the top. Since both container elements with the same height and container elements with a different height are available in the container system, containers can be formed which have different holding capacities. Another advantage of the container system is that after opening the container, each container element can be used as a display container, i.e. the container element can be easily converted into a shelf with the goods, the goods being held in the container element, but being clearly visible to the buyer from the outside and being able to be removed directly from the container element for the purpose of purchase.
- FIGS. 1 to 6 The embodiment of a container system according to FIGS. 1 to 6 is characterized by a uniform basic element 16, that is to say a basic element made of circumferential side walls and a bottom, which, however, is staggered in height, as can be seen from the top right in FIG. 1.
- this base element 16 has a lower wall section 17 and an upper wall section 18 which is set slightly outwards relative to the lower wall section 17, the two wall sections 17 and 18 being connected to one another via a shoulder 19 are.
- these basic elements are expediently formed in one piece from plastic.
- the box principle also results from Fig. 1 bottom left.
- the container system is formed in the container system by placing two basic elements of the same or different heights with the ends open at the top. Tongue and groove configurations are possible in the mutually facing edge sides for fixing the assembled basic elements. 5, however, shows a clip which, after the basic elements have been put together to form a container, can be snapped from the outside via superimposed edge configurations of the basic elements, so that the basic elements are locked together to form a container.
- the containers are unlocked so that, for example, the lid can be removed and the lower basic element can be placed on a shelf as a display pack.
- These snap connections are expediently provided on all four side walls of the basic elements, but if necessary, locking can also only take place on opposite side walls. This results, for example, quite clearly from FIG. 2. If necessary, further basic elements can be used, for example by using a basic element 16 without a floor, which results in a Broadening of the possible variations of the container system results.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a container system which is constructed from basic elements.
The usual cardboard packaging is still used for the transport and other storage of goods today, but they are disadvantageous in several respects. On the one hand, there is no orderly return of the cardboard packaging to the manufacturer, but rather the cardboard packaging is passed on as waste and possibly recycled as waste paper. Cardboard packaging is not suitable as reusable packaging. In addition, such packaging systems are not stable, especially when there is moisture, there is a risk of softening of the cardboard packaging, so that the goods fall out during transport and storage.
The object of the invention is to develop a container system which is versatile, easy to handle, has a robust construction and is suitable as reusable packaging.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the measures of
According to the invention, a container system is realized, which is made up of modular container elements that can be combined to form containers. The side walls of each container element have an upper wall section and a lower wall section which are offset from one another to form a shoulder. As a result, the container elements can be gripped easily, in particular mechanically for transport and storage, for example by manipulating the forks of a forklift. Since the upper wall section is offset from the lower wall section, the empty container elements can be stacked well into one another, so that a space-saving return transport of the container elements is ensured.
For use, the container elements can be stacked with their ends open at the top.
- Figures 1 to 6 different views of basic elements and combinations of these elements to form a container system.
The embodiment of a container system according to FIGS. 1 to 6 is characterized by a uniform
