Description
The invention relates to a bottle cleaning machine with a plurality of treatment departments arranged one behind the other, through which the bottles held in cells pass, first of all carrying out a residual emptying and pre-cleaning of the bottles and then carrying out a lye treatment and further treatments until rinsing.
The reusable bottles used in the beverage industry are subjected to cleaning before they are refilled. The cleaning machines used for this purpose consist of various treatment departments arranged one behind the other, through which the bottles are transported. The treatment zones are designed differently depending on the degree of pollution to be expected. Especially in the case of particularly stubborn soiling, it is common to have additional treatment departments, e.g. B. incorporate an acid bath in order to remove the increased dirt in a limited time frame and to be able to achieve corresponding throughputs. Of course, the cleaning quality should not be affected. From DE-OS 24 04 064 a bottle washing machine is known which works practically exclusively with acid, that is to say has a pre-soaking bath and then provides for a longer acid treatment. This is followed by water treatment with subsequent rinse aid departments. A disadvantage here is that in order to avoid the spread of acid into other departments, the bottles have to be transported relatively long as a draining line for the acid adhering to the bottles and the cells as well as the basket carriers is required. On the one hand, this significantly increases the throughput time of the bottles and, on the other hand, requires relatively large-volume cleaning machines.
The invention has for its object to provide a remedy and an improvement here, so that the incorporation of an acid treatment station can be easily carried out in normal cleaning machines, without an otherwise usual drip line is required.
This object is achieved by the characterizing features of the claims.
With the proposed design, the acid bath can be easily integrated into a normal cleaning machine equipped with a plurality of treatment baths, the water circuit between the first and second neutralization baths being used to use the carried-over lye to neutralize the carried-over acid and vice versa. This neutralization cycle resulting from the allocation of the baths also reduces the otherwise necessary re-sharpening of the acid to a minimum.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing.
As the drawing shows, the cleaning machine consists of a housing 1 with
