Definitions

  • the present application relates to a bottle provided with a reducing end piece and to its application to the dispersion of a particularly viscous liquid.
  • liquids depending on their use, are packaged in bottles and dispensed via a reducing nozzle. This makes it possible to limit the flow rate and the quantity of product dispensed for each use. Mention may be made, for example, of the liquids used for cleaning windows or dishes or gels for toilets. Indeed only relatively small amounts are used each time. On the other hand, liquid detergents or household cleaners use large quantities at each use, of the order of 50 ml and more.
  • the reducing nozzle also makes it possible to orient the jet of liquid more or less precisely towards the place which it is desired to reach.
  • this jet is wired or cylindrical (diameter 2 to 5 mm) and is therefore of good precision, but on the other hand it does not cover a large area.
  • spray nozzles are known, in particular for insecticides or other phytosanitary products, allowing spreading of a spray in width.
  • the sprayers used involve a relatively high pressure, much greater than that which is reached by pressing the body of a bottle with the fingers and the palm of the hand; in addition, these nozzles comprise several parts, the end part of which, through which the liquid jet exits, comprises a fine orifice situated in the middle of an elongated V-shaped excavation. Finally, these sprayers can only be used for very fluid liquids , fluidity comparable to that of water.
  • Such a tip should also be easy to make, and economical, and therefore be made in one piece.
  • US-A-1,696,506 and 2,837,251, GB-A-759,829 and CH-A-294,200 disclose flexible press tubes filled with very viscous products, for example pasty or creamy, such as mayonnaise, dough toothpaste or cosmetic creams, comprising a nozzle making it possible to spread or to give a particular shape to the expelled product which is not projected but leaves the opening slowly taking into account its viscosity.
  • GB-A-759 829 describes a tube for delivering a shaving cream in which the cream is delivered through a narrow transverse outlet slot.
  • the present application relates to a bottle provided with a reducing nozzle capable of containing a liquid of low or medium viscosity to be sprayed onto a surface, characterized in that the reducing nozzle comprises a tubular element whose l the end is provided with a slot-shaped opening through which the liquid is projected.
  • the present application more particularly relates to a bottle provided with a reducing nozzle characterized in that said bottle contains a liquid of low or medium viscosity to be sprayed onto a surface, and in that the reducing nozzle comprises a tubular element the end of which is provided with a slot-shaped opening through which the liquid is projected.
  • tip means the part of a bottle disposed at the opening thereof. This piece can be monobloc with the bottle, but it is usually, and preferably, a separate piece, attached and adapted to the opening of the bottle.
  • reducing nozzle is meant that the orifice of the nozzle determining the flow of the liquid is of dimension smaller than that of the opening of the bottle, the dimension determining the flow being generally the passage having the most narrow.
  • Such a tip is preferably made in one piece, for example by molding. It can be placed in the opening of a bottle, for example by sinking, like the other well-known reducing tips, after filling the bottle, or can be integrated into the bottle, the bottle-tip assembly being produced by molding.
  • the bottle can be any suitable bottle, comprising at least one part which is flexible enough to be pressed by pressure exerted by the hand of the user.
  • Such bottles are well known and in particular are suitable for those which usually contain sanitary gels or cleaning products for dishes or for floors.
  • These flasks or bottles can for example have a capacity of 150 ml, 200 ml, 1.5 liters, preferably from 400 ml to 1 liter and more particularly about 750 ml.
  • the nozzle of the present invention is particularly suitable for viscous liquids, which are almost unusable with the closest prior art nozzles, it is also suitable for more fluid liquids such as liquids having a similar or greater fluidity than that water, as well as liquids of intermediate fluidity.
  • Their viscosity is low or medium and can preferably range from 10 to 1000 mPa.s, in particular from 80 or 100 to 1000 mPa.s, and very particularly from 100 to 800 mPa.s, measured with the Brookfield RVT viscometer, mobile 2, speed 50 rpm.
  • the surface on which the liquid is sprayed may be of any kind, but will generally and preferably be a hard surface, in particular tiles, enameled, melamine-coated surfaces, synthetic resins, surfaces of washbasins, toilet bowls, bathtubs , bidets, urinals ....
  • the surface concerned will generally be extended, such as the surface of an aforementioned sanitary element.
  • the tip of the bottle of the present invention is characterized by the presence of a tubular element, of any cross section, for example substantially oval, square, rectangular, and preferably circular comprising the slot.
  • This section will generally be regular, but other shapes such as conical, the slot being formed at the end of the cone, or, and preferably, conical and then tubular are possible.
  • the end of the tubular member is provided with a slit-shaped opening, which preferably extends over at least one side of the tubular member.
  • the length of the element may vary slightly but will generally be from 5 to 25 mm, the maximum length being determined by the flexibility or rigidity required of the tubular element, as well as the possibilities of closing the bottle.
  • the end of the tubular element can have any suitable shape such as that of a rectangular parallelepiped, but is preferably hemispherical.
  • the slot will usually be straight in shape, seen from the front and preferably substantially in the axis of the length of the tubular element, and therefore of the circulation of the liquid.
  • the length along which the slot extends over the sides of the tubular element determines the width of the projection of the liquid.
  • Preferred tips with which the bottles according to the invention are provided are characterized in that the slot extends on at least one side of the tubular element and preferably at least on the sides of the tubular element.
  • the end may contain several slots, preferably two slots, advantageously in the shape of a cross.
  • the present application finally relates to the application of a bottle above to the dispersion of a liquid, in particular of a low or medium viscosity, preferably a liquid for household or sanitary maintenance such as a gel for sanitary as well as a bottle as defined above characterized in that said bottle contains a liquid of low or medium viscosity to be sprayed onto a surface, which is a liquid for household cleaning or for sanitary.
  • a liquid for household or sanitary maintenance such as a gel for sanitary as well as a bottle as defined above characterized in that said bottle contains a liquid of low or medium viscosity to be sprayed onto a surface, which is a liquid for household cleaning or for sanitary.
  • the monobloc reducing nozzle comprises a tubular element 2 of complex shape that can be broken down into three parts: a conical lower part, through which the liquid arrives, extended by a cylindrical part, itself followed by a substantially hemispherical part. It is in this hemispherical part that the originality of the present invention resides: this part is vertically split up to the level of the adjacent cylindrical part.
  • the slot 3 is straight and vertical, and with parallel walls, spaced apart for example by about 0.7 mm.
  • the internal diameter of the hemispherical part is approximately 4 mm while the external diameter is approximately 6 mm (or a thickness of material, such as low density polyethylene, of approximately 1 mm).
  • the sides of the slot follow the hemispherical shape of the tubular element; they could have, if desired, a form of sector.
  • Figure 2 is a figure similar to that of Figure 1, but the end portion similar to the hemispherical portion above, has the shape of a plugged cylinder at right angles. It also has a slot 3, extending to the bottom of the intermediate cylindrical part.
  • a trident jet with a liquid with a fluidity of the order of that of water, namely from 10 to 20 mPa.s
  • a regular fan for liquids with a viscosity of 100 to 800 mPa.s.
  • FIG. 4 there is a bottle according to the invention provided with the reducing nozzle of FIG. 1.
