Definitions
- the present invention relates to a refuse container with a refuse container body, on the upper edge of the front wall of which a hanging strip is formed, which delimits a receiving cavity which is open at the bottom and into which a chip holder which can be fitted with a data carrier in the form of a chip is arranged.
- Disposers of garbage, in particular household waste are considering billing according to the weight of the waste generated.
- the waste containers must therefore be provided with a data carrier in the form of a chip.
- This chip is fixed in the receiving cavity by means of the chip holder.
- the tipping device of the refuse collection vehicle must be equipped with a scale and a reading head to collect the data.
- the determined data are then stored so that, for. B. the total weight can be determined within a billing period, and as a basis for the invoice and u. U. can also be used for tour planning. If this type of billing is introduced in the individual municipalities, it is necessary that not only the newly purchased waste containers are equipped with the chip, but that the large number of existing waste containers are retrofitted with the chip.
- the present invention has for its object to design a waste container according to the preamble of claim 1 so that not only newly manufactured, but also already used waste containers can be retrofitted with a data carrier in the form of a chip.
- the chip holder contains a profile body, which is then inserted into an insertion opening of a leg of the hanging ledge that is parallel or approximately parallel to the front wall of the refuse container body.
- the solution according to the invention creates a chip holder which is designed as a one-piece molded part and can be fixed in the receiving cavity without further fastening elements, such as rivets, screws or the like.
- the opening is introduced, for example by means of a template.
- the position of the insertion opening depends on the design of the lifting and tipping device of the refuse collection vehicle.
- the horizontal leg protruding from the container body, which forms the upper limit of the receiving cavity, offers secure protection for the chip. Even if one assumes that the chip holder moves a little, this horizontal leg offers an abutment when emptying the waste container, so that the same position is always assumed for collecting the data.
- the insertion opening could also be placed in such a way that the chip is supported on the lower edges of the ribs when emptying. Retrofitting a refuse container is extremely easy to carry out, since, depending on the version, the chip can be inserted into the receptacle of the chip holder from above and then this unit is inserted into the insertion opening.
- At least one snap element preferably a spring bar
- the spring bar deforms such that it can be pushed through the insertion opening.
- the free end area lies in the receiving cavity, so that the snap element or the spring bar jumps outwards and engages behind the edge delimiting the insertion opening from the inside.
- the profile body has a cover flange which lies on the outside against the edge delimiting the insertion opening.

- the wall of the chip is then formed by the adjacent parts of the chip holder 16.
- FIG. 2 shows that disassembly of the chip holder 16 is only possible if the spring bars 22, 23 are pressed together again from below with a suitable tool.
- the outside diameter of the receptacle 17 could be 35 mm, for example. Accordingly, the width of the insertion opening 15 should also be in the range of 35 mm.
- the height of the receptacle 17 and the height of the insertion opening 15 could be 10 mm, for example.
- the insertion opening could be placed in such a way that the chip holder can be supported on the free edges of the reinforcing ribs.
- the chip holder 16 By supporting the chip holder 16 on the free ends of the reinforcing ribs or on the underside of the horizontal leg, no bending forces are built up during emptying.
- the ribs lying behind are removed when the insertion opening 15 is produced.
- the lower edges of the ribs are identified by reference number 24.
- the horizontal leg is not weakened because a cutout is omitted. This is favorable for the resilience, because when emptying the Garbage container the force is transmitted via the horizontal leg 12 to the rail of the lifting and tipping device.
- the chip holder is a one-piece molded part, assembly is particularly simple. It also ensures that no parts are lost.
- a suitable template could be supplied with the chip holder so that the insertion opening is also made at the correct location.
- the interior of the chip can also be introduced directly into the chip holder 16 in the opening 17 and, for example, subsequently cast.
- the receptacle 17 of the chip holder 16 is circular in cross section. However, it can also have a cross-section deviating from the circular shape.
- the chip holder 16 inserted into the receiving cavity 14 according to FIGS. 5 to 7 has a receiving pot 17 which is designed in a ring shape. The two end faces are open. For reasons of the simplified representation, only the chip holder 16 is shown in FIGS. 6 and 7.
- the inner surface of this chip holder 16 is provided with an inner profile 25, which in the embodiment according to FIG. 5 is an internal thread 26.
- the chip inserted into the receptacle 17 then needs a corresponding external thread so that it can be screwed into the receptacle 17. Additional securing means can be provided so that it cannot be unscrewed.
- the profiling 25 is formed by a circumferential bead 27 in each case.
- the bead 27 protrudes from the inner surface of the receptacle 17.
- the chip used should then have an appropriately designed groove, so that the chip is locked or hooked.
- the bead 27 is triangular or wedge-shaped, while in the embodiment according to FIG. 7, the bead 27 is a semicircle.
- the bulge is integrally formed on the chip and the receptacle 17 has a corresponding groove.
- the bead 27 can be circumferential or can also extend over predetermined angular ranges. Since the chip holder 16 is a plastic part, a positive and / or non-positive fixing takes place.
- FIG. 5a shows a chip holder 16 with a lower height than the previous embodiments.
- the milling in the receiving cavity 14 is, however, larger than the outer dimensions of the chip holder 16. This creates a gap 28. This makes the chip holder 16 easier to insert, since any existing manufacturing tolerances are compensated for.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a refuse container with a refuse container body, on the upper edge of the front wall of which a hanging strip is formed, which delimits a receiving cavity which is open at the bottom and into which a chip holder which can be fitted with a data carrier in the form of a chip is arranged.
Disposers of garbage, in particular household waste, are considering billing according to the weight of the waste generated. The waste containers must therefore be provided with a data carrier in the form of a chip. This chip is fixed in the receiving cavity by means of the chip holder. The tipping device of the refuse collection vehicle must be equipped with a scale and a reading head to collect the data. The determined data are then stored so that, for. B. the total weight can be determined within a billing period, and as a basis for the invoice and u. U. can also be used for tour planning. If this type of billing is introduced in the individual municipalities, it is necessary that not only the newly purchased waste containers are equipped with the chip, but that the large number of existing waste containers are retrofitted with the chip.
From DE GM 92 08 573 it is known in a waste container to mount a pocket-shaped recess on the horizontal leg of the receiving strip, from the bottom of which a receiving chamber extends downward. In this admission chamber the chip is inserted from above. The chip is then held positively in this receiving chamber. The depression is covered by a tab which is inserted into the depression after the chip has been inserted. The tab is releasably connected to the horizontal leg by means of a snap lock. In this construction, it is disadvantageous that the tool has to be changed in order to inject a plastic waste container. As a result, it is not possible to retrofit existing waste containers. Furthermore, the tab for the cover is absolutely necessary, so that a tool must also be created for this. Seen in total, the previously known waste container is therefore structurally complex. Another major disadvantage, however, is that the existing garbage containers can no longer be retrofitted with the chip.
The present invention has for its object to design a waste container according to the preamble of claim 1 so that not only newly manufactured, but also already used waste containers can be retrofitted with a data carrier in the form of a chip.
The object is achieved in that the chip holder contains a profile body, which is then inserted into an insertion opening of a leg of the hanging ledge that is parallel or approximately parallel to the front wall of the refuse container body.
The solution according to the invention creates a chip holder which is designed as a one-piece molded part and can be fixed in the receiving cavity without further fastening elements, such as rivets, screws or the like. For retrofitting, it is only necessary that in the parallel or approximately parallel to the front wall leg of the mounting strip, the opening is introduced, for example by means of a template. The position of the insertion opening depends on the design of the lifting and tipping device of the refuse collection vehicle. The horizontal leg protruding from the container body, which forms the upper limit of the receiving cavity, offers secure protection for the chip. Even if one assumes that the chip holder moves a little, this horizontal leg offers an abutment when emptying the waste container, so that the same position is always assumed for collecting the data. Since the hanging bar is often reinforced by reinforcing ribs on the inside, the insertion opening could also be placed in such a way that the chip is supported on the lower edges of the ribs when emptying. Retrofitting a refuse container is extremely easy to carry out, since, depending on the version, the chip can be inserted into the receptacle of the chip holder from above and then this unit is inserted into the insertion opening.
So that the chip holder is secured against being pulled out of the insertion opening, it is provided that at least one snap element, preferably a spring bar, is formed on the chip holder, the free end of which engages behind the edge delimiting the insertion opening on the inside. When the chip holder is inserted into the receiving cavity through the insertion opening, the spring bar deforms such that it can be pushed through the insertion opening. As soon as the chip holder has reached its final position, the free end area lies in the receiving cavity, so that the snap element or the spring bar jumps outwards and engages behind the edge delimiting the insertion opening from the inside.
To cover the joint, it is provided in a further embodiment that the profile body has a cover flange which lies on the outside against the edge delimiting the insertion opening. This cover flange is also a stop that limits the insertion movement of the chip holder.
The chip can be designed such that it can be inserted into a receiving pot before the chip holder is inserted into the receiving cavity. However, for a cost-effective, simplified embodiment, it is also possible for the functional parts of the chip to be introduced directly into the chip holder, for example cast in, so that the housing of the chip is formed by the adjacent parts of the chip holder.

The garbage container, not shown as a whole, is manufactured by plastic injection molding. On the
If reinforcing ribs are formed on the inside of the
In the refuse container according to the invention, the horizontal leg is not weakened because a cutout is omitted. This is favorable for the resilience, because when emptying the Garbage container the force is transmitted via the
The
