Description

The invention relates to a shoe in which at least one upper part is connected to a sole or midsole via an edge seam, for which matching holes are provided in the parts to be connected for pulling through the thread or the like, and in which the thread is passed through each hole and along the outside of the seam two times, but on the other outside of the seam it is guided only once.

Shoes of this type are mostly relatively light and simple footwear. The edge of the upper part is preferably bent outwards so that it overlaps in the edge region on the sole or midsole. The holes in the upper part and sole needed for the production of the seam are usually already made before the seam is formed when the sole is being formed or the upper part is punched or cut. It is customary for a shoe of the type mentioned at the outset to pass the thread or the other suture material through the holes to form a so-called backstitch seam. The thread is guided on one seam side with stitches reaching over two holes (pre-stitches) and on the other seam side in the backstitch to the hole skipped during the pre-stitch and pulled back to the other seam side, so that there are two staggered holes Stitches run side by side. It is a disadvantage of this design of the seam that the required thread length must be determined before the sewing work begins and that at the beginning of the seam this entire thread length must be pulled through the holes to form the stitches mentioned, so that the free thread length decreases with increasing seam length. It is usually worked with excess lengths when twisting to avoid denominations in seam seams. The remaining twine after the seam is finished is lost. Moreover, especially in the beginning of the seam, pulling through the large lengths of thread can damage the parts to be connected, and the thread is increasingly worn with the length of the seam, with applied lubricants or reinforcing agents being rubbed off and the thread even being able to fray.

The object of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages mentioned with simple means and to provide a seam in which the pulling of larger lengths of thread through the holes is avoided, only the thread length actually required is used for the seam and in which a faster and more uniform production than at the backstitch seam is possible.

Bei einem Schuh der eingangs genannten Art besteht die Erfindung darin, daß die Naht als Häkelnaht ausgeführt ist, bei der an der einen Nahtseite von jedem Loch zum nächsten Loch reichende Maschenschlingen gebildet sind, der Zwirn an der anderen Nahtseite einfach vom vorigen Loch herangeführt und in das Loch eingeführt ist, durch das gleiche Loch von der Maschenschlinge zurücklaufend zum nächsten Loch geführt ist und bei der die beiden, die Masche bildenden Zwirnstücke am Loch durch die vom vorigen Loch herangeführte Maschenschlinge hindurchgeführt sindIn the case of a shoe of the type mentioned at the outset, the invention consists in that the seam is designed as a crochet seam, in which stitch loops are formed on one seam side from each hole to the next hole, and the twine is simply brought in from the previous hole on the other seam side the hole is inserted, is led back through the same hole from the stitch loop back to the next hole and in which the two twine pieces forming the stitch are passed through the stitch loop brought up from the previous hole

A crochet-like tool can be used for the production of the seam, in which only the needle part with the hook has to be passed through the holes and pulled out again after the same hole side, so that there is the possibility of attaching an ergonomically favorable handle. in the In contrast, in the known type of backstitch it is necessary to use a needle that can be passed through the holes in its entire length, on which the pull for pulling the thread during the production of the seam is then to be exerted, which further complicates the fact that the continuous eye needle area Thread overlaps in the hole with the thread pieces belonging to the stitches and must be pulled out past these thread pieces. In the embodiment according to the invention, the thread runs from hole to hole on each seam side.

Sole 1 and upper leather 2 of a shoe 3 are connected by a seam 4. The upper leather 2 is bent outwards in the contact area, which is by no means the only embodiment and, like the sole 1, has through-holes 5 which correspond to the sole and the upper leather. A thread 6 or other suture material is used to produce the seam. At the beginning of the seam, a backstitch is made with a needle over two successive holes. to fix the twisted end. Then, from the thread piece coming from the previous hole, a stitch 7 reaching to the next hole is formed on the one outside of the seam. A crochet-like tool 8 with barb 9 is inserted in the manner shown in Fig. 2 from below into the next hole of sole 1 and upper leather and the thread is hooked into the hook 9, after which the hook pointing initially to the right about the axis of the needle 8 is turned by 180 ° with the needle. Now needle 8 and 6 are withdrawn through the hole, so that in Hole two thread sections 10, 11 run side by side. By pulling on the needle 8, a stitch loop 12 is formed. The needle 8 holding and pulling out this loop is guided to the next hole, inserted again from below and hooked into the thread section coming back from the stitch loop 12 and pulled through the hole again as previously described. The twisted pieces forming the next stitch 12 are pulled through the stitch loop 12 coming from the previous hole. By tightening the last stitch in each case, part of the end of the stitch overlapping the twisted pieces can be pulled into the hole. At the end of the seam, a short piece of thread is fixed in the backstitch with a needle in the previous hole or holes. It takes a lot less time to produce the seam than to produce a backstitch seam.
