Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for processing the tread and the side edges of skis and the like, having a rotating grindstone and a feed and transport device for the processing station having skis to be processed.
- An already known processing device for skis has a guide device and consists of a pair of rollers, through the gap of which the ski is transported and fed to a grindstone.
- This known machine can only be used in the production of new skis, since a smooth top of the ski is required by the rollers, but this is the case with ready-to-use skis through the bindings or the like is not the case.
- the manual entry of the skis between the rollers and the guiding of the skis by hand requires experienced specialist personnel, so that the processing is cumbersome and also involves comparatively high costs.
- a device of the type mentioned is known in which the ski to be machined is attached to a longitudinally displaceable and pivotable rail and then guided over a grindstone.
- the guide rail is longitudinally displaceable in a swivel frame and is longitudinally displaced by a drive.
- the guide and swivel frame is mounted like a rocker on a weighted lever arm, through which the infeed movement and the pressure of the ski to be machined takes place on the grindstone. Due to the rocker-like suspension and the weighting of the ski holder, the ski is pressed against the grindstone during machining and also adjusted according to the wear of the stone. This adjustment or compensation movement is carried out by the entire ski holder.
- a device of the type mentioned at the outset which, in an automatic run, enables the ski running surface, including the shovel, to be ground evenly, in particular in the area of the shovel adapted contact forces are also provided.
- the invention proposes, in particular, that the feed and transport device for the skis to be machined has a rigid guide for a ski holder, that spring-elastic holding and pressing elements are provided for connection to the respective ski to be machined and that the grindstone with its abutting surface on the tread of the ski to be machined can be adjusted in a predeterminable machining plane at a constant distance from the transport guide.
- the mass moved when positioning the ski is practically only by the ski itself given and therefore comparatively low.
- This enables the skis to be positioned and adjusted very evenly and sensitively, which results in a very even and cleanly machined tread.
- the construction of the ski holder and guide according to the invention is significantly simplified and therefore less expensive.
- the pressure and the position adjustment of the ski also in the area of the shovel is done by the spring-elastic holding and pressing elements. Because the grindstone can be changed in position, a certain processing plane can be predefined, to which the machining point of the grindstone can be adjusted or adjusted. Corresponding to this fixedly specified processing level, further processing devices can then also be assigned without any problems, since their processing levels can be firmly adjusted to the practically constant processing level of the grinding device.
- the spring-elastic holding and pressing elements of the ski holder have a spring stroke corresponding at least approximately to the shovel height of a ski to be processed, the tread plane of a ski to be processed being in an unloaded starting position, offset by at least the shovel height from the processing level, closer to the grinding stone .
- the ski with its shovel is brought up to the grindstone at a "high altitude", in which the tip of the shovel first comes into contact with the grind and the ski then evades according to the course of the shovel as it advances.
- the spring-elastic holding and pressing element acting on the ski in the area of the shovel is adjusted with regard to its spring force in accordance with the grinding pressure provided there.
- the other holding and pressing elements then extend the ski surface Even support and pressurization of the ski against the grindstone, so that there is reproducible, optimal tread and edge processing with constant results.
- the ski holder is attached to a rail which can be angled to the guide plane from a parallel position to the processing plane, that the ski with its shovel end or its front end can be attached to the angled end of the rail, and that the pivoting angle is such It is dimensioned that the ski tread is offset closer to the grinding stone at least by the blade height to the working plane when the rail is angled.
- the ski with a "hanging" shovel is fed to the grindstone to grind the ski shovel, while the subsequent tread extends obliquely up to the working plane.
- the pivoting movement of the ski that occurs when grinding the shovel favors a uniform grinding even in this area.
- An inclined feed position of the ski is also possible in that the holding and pressing elements can be positioned in their stroke path according to an embodiment of the invention.
- Holding and pressing elements acting in the area of the shovel can be extended and positioned further than those which act further on the adjoining area of the ski, so that an inclined position of the ski is also possible thereby for good shoveling of the shovel.
- An embodiment of the invention for which independent protection is claimed, provides that a dressing device is arranged on the grindstone, which is connected to a positioning drive for predetermined profiling of the grindstone surface.
- the face of the grindstone can be profiled by this positionable dressing device so that the ski tread is not only shaped as planned, but in particular for so-called “edge tuning" with, for example, hanging edge sides or base edges, correspondingly complementary.
- the "edge tuning" as a separate work step can be omitted. Due to the adjustable bearing of the grindstone wear of the grindstone caused by tuning can be compensated for well.
- a device 1 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 serves for processing the tread 2 and the side edges 3 of skis 4, this processing being able to be carried out both in the production of new skis and in the repair service.
- the device essentially has a feed and transport device 5 for holding and transporting the skis to be processed along the processing stations and, in the exemplary embodiment shown, two work stations.
- a first work station 6 serves for grinding the tread including the side edges and a second work station 7 for grinding the side edges 3 on the outside.
- the first work station 6 has a rotating grindstone 8 which is in sliding contact with its end face 9 when grinding the tread 2 of the skis 4.
- the grindstone 8 is height-adjustable and can thus be positioned with its grinding side at a predetermined processing plane B, which is shown in FIGS. 1 and 3 as a dash-dotted line. If the diameter is reduced due to wear of the grindstone, the grindstone 8 can thus be adjusted somewhat in height and can be precisely aligned with the machining plane B.
- the processing plane B is at a fixed predetermined distance a from a rigid guide 10 of the feed and transport device 5 for the skis. This fixed assignment of processing plane B to the guide for a ski holder 11 has the essential advantage that several processing stations can be arranged one behind the other. When the grindstone 8 wears, it is adjusted in its height so that the processing point of its end face 9 lies in the processing plane B.
- the grindstone 8 is mounted in a support frame 12 with a rocker arm 13 which is laterally rotatably supported at a distance from the grindstone 8.
- a lifting spindle drive 14 which engages the rocker arm so that it and the grindstone 8 mounted on it can be adjusted in its height.
- a dressing device 15 on the carrier frame 12 for the grindstone 8 by means of which the front grinding side of the grindstone 8 can be reworked from time to time.
- the dressing device 15 has a dressing tool 16, in particular a diamond, located in a holder.
- the holder can be moved parallel to the end face 9 of the grindstone 8 and, in addition, the feed movement running at right angles to it can also be controlled, preferably both drives (X and Y direction) being connected to a positioning control, not shown here.
- a certain one can Driving profile of the dressing device or the dressing tool 16 can be specified so that not only a flat dressing is possible as before, but also a profiling of the grindstone end face 9. In particular, this creates the possibility of machining and grind the grindstone end face 9 in this way shape that bevels are worked into the outer edge areas of the grindstone face 9, where there are also their side edge areas when machining the tread of the ski, which then pass more towards the center of the grindstone face into a flat central area.
- the ski surface By profiling the end face 9, the ski surface can be ground and tuned practically in one operation. This so-called tuning was previously carried out in a separate operation with separate grinding units. This otherwise separate processing is now integrated in the tread processing process.
- the result of the work can be improved, since exact transitions are created, particularly in the transition areas between inclined surfaces and flat surfaces.
- the profile of the grindstone face 9 can be adapted to practically any desired shape by appropriately profiled dressing, in particular the inclined angle and / or the length of the lateral inclined surfaces can be varied.
- the reduction in diameter of the grindstone 8 resulting from the dressing can easily be compensated for by adjusting the grindstone 8 with the aid of the lifting spindle drive 14 and the machining side of the grindstone can be aligned again exactly to the machining plane B.
- the ski edges are ground from the outside.
- This Grinding units 17, 17a (cf. FIG. 2) are aligned with their grinding wheels 18 exactly on the processing plane B and can therefore be fixedly mounted on the machine frame 19.
- the grinding unit sets 17 and 17a are arranged one behind the other at the work station 7, the side edges of the ski being pre-ground with the grinding units 17 and finish-grinding using the grinding units 17a.
- one or more other processing stations for example for deburring, waxing and the like, can also be connected to this workstation 7.
- the guide 10 of the feed and transport device 5 for the skis 4 to be machined is arranged parallel to the machining plane B.
- the guide 10 has a rigid guide rail 20, which is located above the work stations and extends from a loading station 21 over the subsequent processing stations to a delivery station 22.
- a carriage 23 is guided on this guide rail 20, which carriage can be moved or positioned by means of a chain or a toothed belt 24 indicated by dashed lines in FIG. 1, which is connected to a motor 25.
- a vacuum suction cup 27 in front of and behind the binding region of the ski is usually sufficient to hold a ski, and the other holding elements can have supports at their ends.
- the holding and pressure elements are pneumatic pressure cylinders 28, which can be brought into an extended and a retracted end position.
- the pressurization, in particular in the extended position can be varied depending on the requirements, so that the pressure of the running surface 2 of the skis on the grindstone 8 can accordingly be adjusted accordingly.
- the pressure cylinders 28 are extended, as is indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 3.
- the stroke is dimensioned so that it corresponds at least to the blade height h.
- the ski shovel 29 When moving the ski 4 in the extended processing position according to the arrow Pf1 to the work station 6 with the grindstone 8, the ski shovel 29 first hits the grindstone 8. In the course of the further advance, the ski then deflects upward against the spring force of the pressure cylinders 28 until it is in the working plane B with its tread 2.
- the grinding units 17, 17a of the work station 7 are initially out of function and moved back somewhat to the side (cf. FIG. 2).
- the tread 2 is usually ground in several passes, where the ski is moved back and forth.
- the grinding units 17 and 17a are then preferably brought into the working position in a last pass, so that side edge processing then takes place.
- Both the holding and pressing elements 26 and the actuators for the grinding units 17, 17a are connected to a central control, through which the work processes on the one hand and the adaptation to different specifications on the other hand can be carried out.
- the carriage 23 has a rail 30 which can be bent from a parallel position to the processing plane B and to which the holding and pressing elements 26 are fastened.
- the rail 30 is connected to the carriage 23 at the end remote from the blade via a pivot bearing 31.
- a lifting cylinder 32 attached at the other end between the carriage 23 and the rail 30, the rail 30 can be angled, as indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 1. This results in a corresponding inclination of the ski 4 to be machined relative to the machining plane B.
- the pivot stroke is dimensioned such that the ski tip is lowered approximately by the height of the shovel, so that the shovel tip comes to lie at or below the machining plane.
- the ski is thus guided in an inclined position with its shovel to the grindstone 8 and, with a corresponding counterpressure, the rail 30 then swivels in parallel position against the spring force of the lifting cylinder 32 back to the carriage 23 until the tread 2 adjoining the shovel is on the grindstone 8.
- the further workflow then corresponds to that already described with reference to FIG. 3.
- the holding and pressing elements 26 can instead of being formed by two-position lifting cylinders also by cylinders which can be positioned in their stroke, by means of which the position of the skis to be processed can then also be brought into any intermediate position.
- positionable lifting cylinders it is then also possible, instead of a pivotable rail 30, to accomplish the inclination by extending the lifting cylinder located at the front end and partially extending the lifting cylinders arranged in the further course.
- the arrangement would correspond to that in FIG. 3 except for the lifting cylinders used.
- the pressure cylinders can be controlled individually or in groups via a central control, so that an exact adaptation to the respective skis to be processed or the desired work result is possible.
- several holding and pressing elements 26 attack which are adjustable in the longitudinal direction on the carriage 23 or the rail 30 in order to adapt the respective point of attack on the ski, for example also taking into account an existing binding or the like can.
- the device can be used both for processing individual skis and for pairwise processing of skis and also for snowboards in a somewhat modified form.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for processing the tread and the side edges of skis and the like, having a rotating grindstone and a feed and transport device for the processing station having skis to be processed.
An already known processing device for skis has a guide device and consists of a pair of rollers, through the gap of which the ski is transported and fed to a grindstone. This known machine can only be used in the production of new skis, since a smooth top of the ski is required by the rollers, but this is the case with ready-to-use skis through the bindings or the like is not the case.
The manual entry of the skis between the rollers and the guiding of the skis by hand requires experienced specialist personnel, so that the processing is cumbersome and also involves comparatively high costs.
From DE 38 05 023 a device of the type mentioned is known in which the ski to be machined is attached to a longitudinally displaceable and pivotable rail and then guided over a grindstone. The guide rail is longitudinally displaceable in a swivel frame and is longitudinally displaced by a drive.
The guide and swivel frame is mounted like a rocker on a weighted lever arm, through which the infeed movement and the pressure of the ski to be machined takes place on the grindstone. Due to the rocker-like suspension and the weighting of the ski holder, the ski is pressed against the grindstone during machining and also adjusted according to the wear of the stone. This adjustment or compensation movement is carried out by the entire ski holder.
In particular when grinding the shovel, it is problematic that the entire holder with the guide rail, guide and swivel frame and the like is also pivoted, so that comparatively high forces have to be transmitted via the ski shovel.
The different tilting moment occurring during the grinding run also results in a non-uniform contact pressure of the skis or skis on the grinding body, so that a uniform contact pressure cannot be assumed over the entire length of the ski. A uniform contact pressure between the grinding wheel and the entire ski sole including the ski shovel is one Prerequisite for the desired uniformity of the tread.
Post-processing of the skis, where, among other things, side edge grinding takes place, is carried out in a separate machine, since the geometrical conditions that change during grinding due to wear of the grindstone make precise assignment to subsequent processing stations problematic.
Processing the skis in several separate machines is time-consuming and inefficient.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a device of the type mentioned at the outset which, in an automatic run, enables the ski running surface, including the shovel, to be ground evenly, in particular in the area of the shovel adapted contact forces are also provided.
In addition, if necessary, there should be the possibility of being able to assign post-processing units to the grinding station without any problems, so that complete processing of the skis is also possible.
To solve this problem, the invention proposes, in particular, that the feed and transport device for the skis to be machined has a rigid guide for a ski holder, that spring-elastic holding and pressing elements are provided for connection to the respective ski to be machined and that the grindstone with its abutting surface on the tread of the ski to be machined can be adjusted in a predeterminable machining plane at a constant distance from the transport guide.
By means of these measures according to the invention, the mass moved when positioning the ski is practically only by the ski itself given and therefore comparatively low. This enables the skis to be positioned and adjusted very evenly and sensitively, which results in a very even and cleanly machined tread. In addition, the construction of the ski holder and guide according to the invention is significantly simplified and therefore less expensive.
The pressure and the position adjustment of the ski also in the area of the shovel is done by the spring-elastic holding and pressing elements.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the spring-elastic holding and pressing elements of the ski holder have a spring stroke corresponding at least approximately to the shovel height of a ski to be processed, the tread plane of a ski to be processed being in an unloaded starting position, offset by at least the shovel height from the processing level, closer to the grinding stone .
Here, the ski with its shovel is brought up to the grindstone at a "high altitude", in which the tip of the shovel first comes into contact with the grind and the ski then evades according to the course of the shovel as it advances. The spring-elastic holding and pressing element acting on the ski in the area of the shovel is adjusted with regard to its spring force in accordance with the grinding pressure provided there. The other holding and pressing elements then extend the ski surface Even support and pressurization of the ski against the grindstone, so that there is reproducible, optimal tread and edge processing with constant results.
Another embodiment provides that the ski holder is attached to a rail which can be angled to the guide plane from a parallel position to the processing plane, that the ski with its shovel end or its front end can be attached to the angled end of the rail, and that the pivoting angle is such It is dimensioned that the ski tread is offset closer to the grinding stone at least by the blade height to the working plane when the rail is angled.
With this ski holder, the ski with a "hanging" shovel is fed to the grindstone to grind the ski shovel, while the subsequent tread extends obliquely up to the working plane. The pivoting movement of the ski that occurs when grinding the shovel favors a uniform grinding even in this area.
An inclined feed position of the ski is also possible in that the holding and pressing elements can be positioned in their stroke path according to an embodiment of the invention.
Holding and pressing elements acting in the area of the shovel can be extended and positioned further than those which act further on the adjoining area of the ski, so that an inclined position of the ski is also possible thereby for good shoveling of the shovel.
An important design feature is that the grindstone with its grinding point resting on the tread of the ski to be machined can be adjusted in a predeterminable machining plane with a constant distance from the transport guide or can be adjusted according to its wear with a reduction in diameter. On the one hand, no readjustment is necessary in the area of the ski transport and guiding device because of the abrasive grindstone, and on the other hand the practically fixed processing level gives the possibility of aligning them firmly on processing levels of assigned processing stations.
As a result, according to a development of the invention, it is possible to assign at least one further processing station, in particular with side edge grinding units, to the processing station for grinding the ski tread and the side edges, the processing planes of which are aligned with that of the tread processing station.
This results in considerable advantages and cost savings, since only one continuous transport system, a common control system and the like are required for several processing stations. There is therefore no need for any means or corresponding personnel for moving part-processing skis from one processing station to the next.
An embodiment of the invention, for which independent protection is claimed, provides that a dressing device is arranged on the grindstone, which is connected to a positioning drive for predetermined profiling of the grindstone surface.
The face of the grindstone can be profiled by this positionable dressing device so that the ski tread is not only shaped as planned, but in particular for so-called "edge tuning" with, for example, hanging edge sides or base edges, correspondingly complementary.
The "edge tuning" as a separate work step can be omitted. Due to the adjustable bearing of the grindstone wear of the grindstone caused by tuning can be compensated for well.

A device 1 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 serves for processing the
The device essentially has a feed and
The
The

At work station 7, as already mentioned, the ski edges are ground from the outside. This Grinding
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the grinding unit sets 17 and 17a are arranged one behind the other at the work station 7, the side edges of the ski being pre-ground with the grinding
If necessary, one or more other processing stations, for example for deburring, waxing and the like, can also be connected to this workstation 7. There is also the possibility of arranging 6 processing devices in front of the work station. This assignment of a large number of processing stations is possible through the continuous processing level B and the alignment and reference of all units to this processing level. As a result, the skis to be machined can be finished in a single pass, thus avoiding expensive transfer operations.
Fig. 2).
The

In this case, the arrangement would correspond to that in FIG. 3 except for the lifting cylinders used.
As already mentioned, the pressure cylinders can be controlled individually or in groups via a central control, so that an exact adaptation to the respective skis to be processed or the desired work result is possible.

The device can be used both for processing individual skis and for pairwise processing of skis and also for snowboards in a somewhat modified form.
