Abstract

The invention concerns a drive for a curved sliding door in which a left-hand (3) and right-hand (1) door are moved by means of two motor-driven straps (4, 2). One end of each strap is attached to the front or rear edge of the other door, the strap passing round a guide roller (6, 8) located in the middle between the two doors, thus linking the doors so that when one moves the other is forced to move with it in the opposite direction.

Description

The invention relates to a drive for a curved sliding door, in which two movable moving wings are moved by a motor drive on an arcuate path. Triggered by a sensor signal, the drive is set in motion and the moving wings move apart, so that the traffic groups using it have an open passage. The advantage of these automatic curved sliding door systems is that they create inviting, spacious entrance rooms without taking up a lot of space. They can be designed for arched, semicircular or circular floor plans and also offer maximum transparency and light through large-area glazing. As a rule, microprocessor controls with a wide range of functions as well as self-regulation and self-monitoring of the movement sequences ensure regular operation of these door types. As a rule, a fighter is arranged above the fixed glass parts and the two moving wings, which ensures a circular arc-shaped closure to the building. The drive means can then be accommodated within the fighter, which ensure smooth operation of the curved sliding doors.

A curved sliding door of the aforementioned type can be found in DE 39 28 911 A1, in which the circular door leaves are brought into the open or closed position with a single endless belt. Here, the endless belt is placed around the drive pulley and the driven pulley, with the two door leaves being firmly connected to the endless belt at the same time are. When the drive motor is activated, the two door leaves are displaceably moved along a left or right guide rail in the opposite direction. However, this type of drive is very complex since, in addition to the outer guide rollers, inner guide rollers are also required in order to reliably guide the toothed belt rotated through 180 °.

No. 3,353,299 describes a drive for a door in which an electric motor drives a revolving belt, a device being attached to the belt, to which cables are guided which are guided by rollers and which move the door leaves.

An automatic sliding door is disclosed in US Pat. No. 3,834,081, which is equipped with two horizontally movable moving leaves. The moving wings are driven in a known manner via drive belts, in the form of toothed belts, by an electric motor drive.

A further cable drive for a sliding door is described in US Pat. No. 1,602,717.

The object of the invention is to provide a drive for a curved sliding door, which is inexpensive to manufacture and, moreover, is also not susceptible to faults and has as few components as possible in order to make the efficiency of the drive as large as possible.

This object is achieved on the basis of the preamble of the main claim by its characterizing features.

The movement of the first belt, caused by the drive motor, is forced onto the second belt by the deflection rollers transmitted in the opposite direction. Due to the connection of the moving wing to the drive belt, and in such a way, if you look at the door system from above, that the right belt is fastened to the right outer edges of the moving wings and the left belt is fastened to the left outer edges of the moving wings , due to this polyline when driving a belt, caused by the central deflection roller, there is also a forced transmission to the second belt. This ensures that when a wing is opened, the second wing is also opened, in such a way that the wings move away from one another. The belts, which can also be designed as toothed belts, always have the same length, and there is also no need for an elastic link between the belts. The straps always remain the same in length when moving. Compared to the prior art, the object of the invention has the advantage that large losses due to additional roles are avoided.

The exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 1 shows a curved sliding door with the moving wings 1 and 3, which move on an arcuate circle segment 14. The right wing 1, which moves on the circle segment, closes on a fixed one Side panel 19 on. In the same way, the moving wing 3 is arranged on the left side on a fixed side part 20. Arched sliding doors of this type are usually arranged in the entrance area of buildings and are required to represent a building closure. If a pulse is triggered due to a motion detector, not shown, which activates the drive of the curved sliding door, the drive motor 7 located on the side is energized and the toothed belt 2 placed over its drive roller 16 is displaced. The toothed belt 2 is a belt which is not self-contained and is fastened to both the left wing 3 and the right wing 1. This attachment is made so that one end of the belt of the toothed belt 2 is attached to the right rear edge 12 of the wing 1. The belt drum 21 then leads to the drive motor 7 with its drive roller 16, around which the toothed belt 2 is placed. The further belt drum 22 is guided to the deflection roller 6, which is rotatably supported in the center 15 of the circular segment 14 via an axis. This deflection roller 6 is to be placed as far as possible on the outer circle of the circular segment 14. The guided belt drum 22 of the toothed belt 2 is guided over the deflection roller 6 in such a way that the toothed belt end 23 of the toothed belt 2 is fastened to the front edge 10 of the left-hand driving wing 3. The storage of the guide roller 6 is carried out so that a further order steering roller 8 is attached to the axis 9. These two deflection rollers 6 and 8 are arranged so that they can each have a belt one above the other, ie in two levels. On the common axis 9, the free-running deflection rollers 6 and 8 are not connected to one another in a non-positive and positive manner. At the front edge 11 of the right wing 1 there is another belt end 26 of the toothed belt 4 attached. This belt drum 24 is guided over the deflection roller 8 and then to the deflection roller 5 arranged at the end of the fixed side part 20. The other belt drum 25, which goes away from the deflection roller 5 of the toothed belt 4, is fastened to the rear edge 13 of the left-hand driving wing.

Only one of the two toothed belts 2 and 4 is thus directly connected to the motor 7. The central mounting of the deflection rollers 6 and 8 ensures that, with only one driven belt, the second belt is inevitably moved as well due to the above-described manner. The consequence of this is that the second moving wing located thereon also moves in such a way that it performs the same movement as the driven moving wing. If, for example, the belt drum 21 is pulled in the direction of the drive motor which is also arranged at the end of the fixed side part 9, the belt drum 24 is pulled over the deflection roller 8 by the connection of the toothed belt 4, and thus at the same time the moving wing 3 also towards the outside, ie in the lineup moves. Due to this polygon, the indirectly connected two toothed belts 2 and 4, it is ensured that a safe drive of the two wings 1 and 3 can be accomplished without additional and thus efficiency-reducing pulleys. During the movement, ie the drive motor 7 runs in the opposite direction, the two wings 1 and 3 run towards one another. This is also done by tying the wings. It can therefore be moved with such a drive, the two wings 1 and 3 with only a single motor, which is a very inexpensive type of drive for a curved sliding door. All previously known Systems on the market have either been implemented using very complex mechanical linkages and carriages, which, however, involve a very poor efficiency and thus large losses.

However, it is also possible to equip the object according to the invention, as shown in FIG. 3, with an additionally arranged deflection roller 17 and 18 if this is necessary due to the local conditions, ie lighting fixtures are present in the ceiling installation.
