Ein derartiger Vorformkopf ist aus der US-PS 2 476 180 oder DE-A-1 510 164 bekannt. Um Seile oder Kabelarmierungen mit unterschiedlichen Schlaglängen herstellen zu können, muß der Abstand zwischen den Vorformscheiben einstellbar sein, wobei die Abstände zwischen den benachbarten Vorformscheiben immer gleich groß sein müssen. Bei den bekannten Vorformköpfen erfolgt die Verstellung von Hand, wobei diese wegen des notwendigen Spiels nicht immer zentrisch zueinander erfolgt, so daß auch aus diesem Grunde erheblicher Meß- und Einstellaufwand betrieben werden muß.Such a preform head is known from US Pat. Der in Fig. 1 dargestellte Vorformkopf weist ein Rohr 1 und drei Vorformscheiben mit unterschiedlichen Durchmessern auf, eine kleine vordere Vorformscheibe 2, eine mittlere Vorformscheibe 3 und eine große hintere Vorformscheibe 4. Die kleine Vorformscheibe 2 ist am vorderen Ende des Rohrs 1 starr befestigt. Die mittlere Vorformscheibe 3 weist einen inneren Ringflansch 5 auf, auf dem zur Feineinstellung - auf bekannte Weise - die mittlere Vorformscheibe 3 verstellbar angeordnet ist. Claims (6)

  1. Preforming head for ropes and cable armouring with three preforming discs (2, 3, 4) arranged on a spindle in one direction with increasing diameters, whereof the smallest preforming disc (2) is arranged in a stationary manner and the other preforming discs (3, 4) are arranged to be displaceable on the spindle, characterised in that the two displaceable preforming discs (3, 4) are kinematically connected to each other so that at the time of each displacement, the distance (A) between the smallest preforming disc (2) and the central preforming disc (3) always remains equal to the distance (B) between the central preforming disc (3) and the largest preforming disc (4).
  2. Preforming head according to Claim 1, characterised in that the displacement of the central preforming disc (3) with respect to the connected displacement of the smaller preforming disc (2) takes place in a ratio of 1:2.
