Description

The present invention relates to a rear-ventilated formwork for a wall, in particular outdoors, according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such formwork is known from CH-A-677 808 for a wall with first boards, each of which has a generally flat wall-facing surface and wall-facing surface and a continuous front groove cheek on both sides of the wall-facing surface, and second boards that face the wall The surface is flat and has a continuous groove on both sides into which the front groove cheek is inserted, the first boards on the wall-facing surface each having a rear groove cheek running on both sides, which engages behind the wall-facing surfaces of the adjacent second boards, and the width of the rear groove cheek the first boards is equal to the width B of the front groove cheek.

Such ventilated formworks are known from practical use. They are attached by craftsmen and also by do-it-yourselfers to vertical walls and also to ceilings in order to achieve additional thermal insulation of the wall, especially outdoors. The formwork also creates an aesthetic effect.

The boards of the formwork consist of treated or untreated wood, but other materials, such as plastic, or materials containing wood can also be used.

According to the usual procedure, such formwork is attached to cross battens. This consists of two layers of battens arranged at right angles and parallel to each other on the wall. Ventilation can only be achieved by using cross battens.

A disadvantage of the known formwork is that the attachment of the cross battens requires a relatively large amount of time and material, and is therefore omitted in some cases, which contradicts the requirements of constructive wood protection.

The object of the present invention is to provide a rear-ventilated casing for a wall, in particular outdoors, in which a rear ventilation can also be achieved without cross-battening, the casing being easy and simple to install by DIY enthusiasts.

The problem is solved by a generic formwork with the characterizing features of claim 1.

In the known formwork, the fasteners, also usually screws (external area), are driven into the cross-batten battens.

The invention according to claim 1 provides that on one side of the second boards the front groove cheek extends further outwards than the rear groove cheek. With this construction, nails can be used as an assembly aid for the provisional fixation of the first board when the formwork is attached to the outside without being visible, since the front groove channel of the second board, which extends further out, hides the nail heads. The actual permanent fastening is done by visible screws.

A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to a drawing. In a single figure, it shows a cross section through a section of a formwork attached to a wall.

A casing 10 of a wall 30 has first boards 12 and second boards 15 fastened to a lath 11. One of each of the first boards 12 and the second boards 15 is shown in full cross-section, while the adjacent first and second boards 12, 15 are only partially visible.

The first boards 12 each have a wall-facing surface 13 and a wall-facing surface 20. The surface 20 lies on the simple battens 11, which in turn are fixed to the wall 30 by fastening means, not shown. The first board 12 has on the wall-facing surface 13 on both sides a front groove cheek 14, which is inserted into a correspondingly designed groove 18 on both sides of the second board 15. Furthermore, the first board 12 has a continuous rear one on both sides Grooved cheek 21, 21 ', which engages behind a wall-facing surface 17 of the second board 15. The rear groove cheek 21, 21 'has a width B which is equal to the width of the front groove cheek 14.

The second board 15 is profiled on its wall-facing surface 16. This profiling can be carried out in various ways and serves decorative purposes. Instead of the two quarter circles projecting outwards, individual arcs can also be made, as can a fillet and other profiles.

The second board 15 shows on the left side in the figure a front groove cheek 22 which partially overlaps the wall-facing surface 13 of the first board 12. The front groove cheek 22 extends laterally further outwards than a rear groove cheek 23 of the second board 15. A row of nails 25, which is indicated by a dash-dotted center line, is covered by this front groove cheek 22, so that the nail heads are not visible. The row of nails 25 serves the purpose of provisional fastening during the assembly of the boards 12, 15. The actual fastening is then carried out by visible screws.

The formwork 10 is attached to the simple battens 11 in such a way that the first board 12 is provisionally nailed to the battens 11 starting in the figure on the left, the nailing 25 being carried out at right angles to the wall 30 and accordingly being simple to carry out. Following this, the first board 12 can be screwed tight if necessary. Then the adjacent second board 15 with the left groove 18 is pushed onto the right front groove cheek 14 of the first board 12, which serves as a spring. The right first board 12 is then inserted into the second board 15, so that a composite is formed. The first board 12 on the right is also included another nail row 25 fixed. The nail rows 25 serve only as an assembly aid for the formwork of the wall 30, since with them the boards 12, 15 can be adjusted much more quickly on the battens 11, the nailing in the interior area being sufficient. Outside, however, the nailing is not sufficient for permanent static safety. The actual secure fastening takes place in this area with one or two visible rows of screws per board 12, 15, these screws not being shown in the drawing.
