Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a gantry crane, in particular a ship gantry crane, with a bridge, which has two parallel cross members, which form the carriageway for a traveling crane, according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
Bridge cranes of this type are built, for example, on ocean-going vessels. The crane is usually used to handle containers, bulk goods and wood products. At least two such bridge cranes are often used to unload ships faster.
From US-A-3 244 297 and from "The Marine Engineer and Naval Architect", volume 86, no. 1042, January 1963, Maidstone page 3 - 5, gantry cranes with cross members are already known, at the ends of which hinged side parts can be optionally selected Extension of the roadway are articulated, the side parts from the position in which they are aligned with the cross members, can be folded by 90 ° into their rest position, in which their tips point in the direction of the other cross member. It is also known from US-A-3 244 297 to fold the hinged side parts into other preferred rest positions, in particular parallel to the supports or lying on top of the cross members.
A bridge crane is also known from DE-A-1 962 228, in which the articulated side parts can be folded into a rest position, in which they are each so vertical are arranged to the cross beams that their tips point away from the cross beams.
Furthermore, it is already known from US Pat. No. 3,414,143 to compensate for uneven ground conditions by means of supports of different lengths that support the bridge of the overhead crane.
A bridge crane with a jib is already known from US-A-3 486 641, the jib being foldable into a rest position, so that the jib extends into the supports of the bridge crane.
Finally, from US-A-1 558 520 a bridge crane with a telescopic boom is known.
Side parts which can be pivoted inwards have the advantage that the overhead crane can be brought into the working position even when bulky goods, for example containers, are piled up right next to it. A disadvantage of this solution, however, is that there is a risk of collision between the two side parts, which results in a longer provision time of the overhead crane from its rest position. In addition, the two side parts cannot be swiveled completely through 90 ° at the same time, since the side part swung in first prevents the other side part from swiveling in completely.
The object of the present invention is therefore to develop a generic overhead crane in such a way that a collision of the pivotable side parts is avoided.
Starting from a generic overhead crane, this object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1. According to the solution according to the invention, the cross members are arranged at different heights in relation to one another, so that the side parts in their rest position one above the other and so that they are arranged collision-free. A height compensation of the differently high cross beams is preferably carried out in that the overhead crane has lateral, in each case the chassis-supporting wall parts, the height of which is adapted to the height of the cross beams in such a way that the overhead crane is arranged essentially horizontally.
A trolley carrying an unloading arrangement can be arranged to be movable on the overhead crane.
The side parts can be hydraulic or electrical, i.e. by means of a corresponding electric motor, from its rest position into the position in which they are aligned with the cross members, can be folded. The side parts can be telescopic.

- Fig. 2:
- den Brückenkran gemäß Fig. 1 in Ruheposition.
- Fig. 1:

- Fig. 2:
- the overhead crane according to FIG. 1 in the rest position.
To extend the carriageway,
In the embodiment shown here, the supports of the
20 ausgeglichen. So that the
Doppelpfeilrichtung e verfahr- bzw. verschwenkbar.A
The
An alternative embodiment, which is not shown in the figures, can comprise two cross members of the same height. In this case, however, the
