Claims (8)

  1. Municipal vehicle for flushing and cleaning drains and tanks or similar objects, comprising a tank (10) with a sludge compartment (11) and a service water compartment (12), the latter being connected to a flushing hose (14) through which water is pumped via a pumping device (15) to the end of the flushing hose (14) which is equipped with a nozzle head (16), characterised in that the water (19) is pumped through a second flushing hose (18) by means of a second pumping device (17) connected to the service water compartment (12) and is heated by means of a heating element (20) before leaving the second flushing hose (18), and in that the energy required by the heating element (20) is supplied by a power source which is separate from the drive unit of the motor vehicle.
  2. Municipal vehicle according to Claim 1, characterised in that the heating element (20) comprises a fuel-powered device operating on the principle of a pulsating jet heater.
  3. Municipal vehicle according to one or both of Claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the second pumping device (17) is driven electrically.
  4. Municipal vehicle according to one or more of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the second pumping device (17) is driven hydraulically and/or mechanically.
  5. Municipal vehicle according to Claim 4, characterised in that the second pumping device (17) is driven directly by the motor vehicle drive.
  6. Municipal vehicle according to one or more of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that detergent (22) can be added to the water (19) to be heated.
  7. Municipal vehicle according to Claim 6, characterised in that the detergent (22) is stored in a dosing tank (21) by means of which it can be introduced into the connecting feed pipe (23) between the service water compartment (13) and the second pumping device (17).
