Auch die benachbarten Längsfäden (5, 6) der beiden Untergruppen kommen dann zur Anlage. - Dryer fabric (1) having longitudinal filaments (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) extending in the machine operating direction (A) and transverse filaments (2) extending transversely thereto, both being made of plastic material, a first group of longitudinal filaments (4, 5, 6, 7) floating over a plurality of transverse filaments (2) on the paper side and there being a second group of longitudinal filaments (8, 9) which intersects differently from the first group of longitudinal filaments (4, 5, 6, 7), characterized in that in each case at least two adjacent longitudinal filaments (4, 5) and (6, 7) of the first group form subgroups of longitudinal filaments (4, 5) and (6, 7) that run and intersect in the same order, at least on the paper side, and the longitudinal filaments (4, 5) and (6, 7) of one subgroup rest against one another side by side, and in that the longitudinal filaments (8, 9) of the second group intersect on the paper side only with those transverse filaments (2) over which the longitudinal filaments (4, 5) and (6, 7) of a subgroup, which run above this longitudinal filament (8, 9) of the second group, float.
- Dryer fabric according to Claim 1, characterized in that the longitudinal filaments (4, 5) and (6, 7) of a subgroup also otherwise run so as to intersect in the same order.
- Dryer fabric according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that no longitudinal filaments of the second group run between two subgroups of longitudinal filaments (4, 5) and (6, 7) of the first group.
- Dryer fabric according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the longitudinal filaments (8, 9) of the second group float on the machine side over those transverse filaments (2) which intersect on the machine side with the longitudinal filaments (4, 5) and (6, 7) of a subgroup which run above the relevant longitudinal filament (8, 9) of the second group.
- Dryer fabric according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the longitudinal filaments (8, 9) of the first group in each case float on the paper side over three to nine transverse filaments (2).
- Dryer fabric according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the longitudinal filaments (4, 5, 6, 7) of the first group in each case intersect on the machine side only with one transverse filament (2).
- Dryer fabric according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the longitudinal filaments (8, 9) of the second group float on the machine side over three to nine transverse filaments (2).
- Dryer fabric according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the longitudinal filaments (8, 9) of the second group in each case intersect on the paper side only with one transverse filament (2).
- Dryer fabric according to one of Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the longitudinal filaments (4, 5, 6, 7) of the first group intersect in mirror-image fashion in relation to the longitudinal filaments (8, 9) of the second group.
- Dryer fabric according to one of Claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the transverse filaments (2) are constructed as open, hollow monofilaments.
- Dryer fabric according to one of Claims 1 to 9, characterized in that transverse filaments which are constructed as open, hollow monofilaments alternate with transverse filaments that are constructed as solid monofilaments.
- Dryer fabric according to Claim 10 or 11, characterized in that the transverse filaments (2) constructed as hollow monofilaments are flattened.
- Dryer fabric according to one of Claims 1 to 12, characterized in that transverse filaments of greater diameter alternate with transverse filaments which by comparison have a smaller diameter.
- Dryer fabric according to one of Claims 1 to 13, characterized in that at least the longitudinal filaments (4, 5, 6, 7) of the first group are constructed as flat monofilaments whose extent in the plane of the fabric is greater than perpendicular thereto.
- Dryer fabric according to Claim 14, characterized in that the longitudinal filaments (4, 5, 6, 7) have a cross-sectional ratio of 1.2:1 to 3:1.
- Dryer fabric according to one of Claims 1 to 15, characterized in that the longitudinal filaments (4, 5) or (6, 7) of a subgroup are offset with regard to their intersection in the machine operating direction with respect to adjacent longitudinal filaments (4, 5) or (6, 7) of another subgroup.
- Dryer fabric according to one of Claims 1 to 16, characterized in that the longitudinal filaments (4, 5, 6, 7) of the first group have an identical cross-sectional shape and area.
- Dryer fabric according to one of Claims 1 to 17, characterized in that the dryer fabric is of single-ply construction.
- Process for producing a dryer fabric according to one of Claims 1 to 18, characterized in that the transverse filaments (2) used for the weaving process are capable of shrinking, and the dryer fabric (1) is heat-treated following the weaving process, both in such a way that the longitudinal filaments (4, 5) and (6, 7) of a subgroup in each case running and intersecting in the same order rest against one another side by side.
