Dies ist umständlich und setzt voraus, daß entsprechend dimensionierte Preßbacken zur Hand sind. Es ist deshalb ein insoweit verbessertes Preßgerät entwickelt worden, das in dem DE-GM 87 0̸4 860̸.4 offenbart ist. Dieses Preßgerät hat ineinandergreifende Preßbacken, die gleichzeitig Gleitflächen für benachbarte Werkzeugteile bilden. Mit diesem Preßgerät lassen sich in einem großen Bereich Werkstücke unterschiedlichen Durchmessers mit Hülsen oder dergleichen versehen, ohne daß hierfür Teile des Preßgerätes ausgewechselt werden müssen.In the pressing device according to DE-PS 32 35 0̸40̸ at least the pressing jaws have to be replaced if sleeves or the like have to be pressed onto workpieces of different diameters. Nachteilig bei diesem Preßgerät ist, daß es einer aufwendigen Fertigung wegen der erforderlichen Genauigkeit der Bearbeitung der einzelnen Gleitflächen bedarf und daß selbst dann eine einwandfreie Funktion wegen der auftretenden Flächenpressungen nicht gewährleistet ist.
