Auf diese Weise wird gewährleistet, daß bei einer seitenverkehrten Anordnung des Akkumulators 16 in der Wanne 19 das Einfügen des Akkumulators in das Gehäuse 22 behindert ist, weil der Handgriff, in welchem das Steckverbindungsteil 23 integriert ist, gegen die Seitenbegrenzung der Einschuböffnung 24 anschlägt. Die Bedienungsperson kann dann den Akkumulator 16, welcher, wie die Innenabmessungen der Wanne 19 einen übereinstimmenden rechteckigen Grundriß hat, richtig positioniert in der Wanne angeordnet werden. In dieser richtigen Positionierung ist das Steckverbindungsteil 23 mit der ortsfesten Steckverbindung 17 im Innern des Einschubgehäuses 22 in Einschubrichtung ausgerichtet. Der mit einem aufgeladenen Akkumulator versehene Behandlungstisch ist vom Netzanschluß unabhängig, so daß der Verstellbetrieb der Auflagefläche an jeder Stelle, an welcher der mit einem Fahrgestell 35 versehene Behandlungstisch gebracht ist, betrieben werden kann. Claims (8)

  1. A treatment table, in particular for physical therapy, having a support surface (1) comprising couch surface portions (2-5) which are connected together at their respective adjacent edges by means of hinges (6-8), a vertical, telescopic support pillar (9) which is adjustable in respect of height and to the upper end of which the support surface (1) is pivotably mounted, operating cylinders (10-13) for adjustment in respect of height of the support pillar (9) and adjustment of the position of the couch surface portions (2-5), and an electrically operated control device (14) for actuation of the operating cylinders (10-13),
       characterised in that
       for the power supply to the electrically operated control device (14) a replaceable accumulator (16) is mounted on the support pillar portion (15) which is adjustable in respect of height and that also provided on the support pillar portion (15) which is adjustable in respect of height is a stationary plug connection (17) by way of which the accumulator (16) can be connected to the electrically actuated control device (14).
  2. A treatment table according to claim 1 characterised in that the accumulator (16) is mounted in a mounting means in the form of a push-in device (18) on the support pillar portion (15) which is adjustable in respect of height.
  3. A treatment table according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterised in that the push-in device (18) has a trough (19) into which the accumulator (16) can be fitted and that the trough (19) is mounted on telescopic rails (20, 21) on a push-in housing (22).
  4. A treatment table according to one of claims 1 to 3 characterised in that the inside dimensions of the trough (19) are matched to the outside dimensions of the accumulator (16) for defined positioning of a plug connection portion (23) arranged on the accumulator (16) with respect to the stationary plug connection (17) on the push-in device (18) and that when the accumulator (16) is pushed into the push-in housing (22) the plug connection portion (23) on the accumulator and the stationary plug connection (17) in the push-in device (18) are electrically connected together.
  5. A treatment table according to one of claims 1 to 4 characterised in that the dimensions of the accumulator (16) which is arranged in the trough (19) are arranged asymmetrically with respect to a vertical centre line (ML) in the push-in housing opening (24).
  6. A treatment table according to one of claims 1 to 5 characterised in that the plug connection portion (23) is fixed to one side of the accumulator casing (16) and that the lateral extent, extending transversely to the push-in direction, of the plug connection portion (23) which is aligned with the stationary plug connection (17) in the push-in housing (22) in the push-in direction is greater than the spacing of the other side of the accumulator casing from the side boundary of the push-in opening (24) of the push-in housing (22).
  7. A treatment table according to one of claims 1 to 6 characterised in that provided in a separate housing (25) is an accumulator station (26) with a push-in device (18) which corresponds to the push-in device (18) on the support pillar portion (15) which is adjustable in respect of height.
  8. A treatment table according to one of claims 1 to 7 characterised in that the lateral plug connection portion (23) on the accumulator (16) is integrated into a handle.
