Zum Abführen wird die verwendete Druckplatte einendig am Druckplattenzylinder losgespannt und dann - durch entsprechende Drehung des Druckplattenzylinders - in das Magazin teilweise eingeschoben. Damit ist sichergestellt, daß nur eine Druckplatte 9 angehoben wird. Im übrigen können die zuvor erwähnten Abstandshalter (Kunststoffzungen) zwischen den einzelnen Druckplatten 9 angeordnet sein, was zusätzlich der Bildung eines Vakuums entgegenwirkt. Ist die Druckplatte 9 angehoben, so wird der Wagen 54 mittels der Kolben/Zylinder-Einheit 65 in Richtung des Druckplattenzylinders 1 geschoben. Dabei tritt die Vorderkante 44 der Druckplatte 9 in die Vorderkantenklemmvorrichtung 69 des Druckplattenzylinders 1, welcher zuvor entsprechend positioniert wurde. Beim oben geschilderten Vorfahren des Wagens 54 gleitet die abgewinkelte Druckplattenhinterkante 41 unter dem Sensor 61 hindurch, der die ordnungsgemäße Beförderung der Druckplatte 9 registriert. Während des Transports des Wagens 54 wird ein Bypaß in der Luftversorgung der Sauger der Saugorgane 56 aktiviert, da eine starke Saugluft nur zum Ansaugen der Druckplatte 9 notwendig ist. Anschließend dreht sich der Druckplattenzylinder 1 in Vorwärtsrichtung und zieht dabei die Druckplatte 9 auf seine Mantelfläche auf. Die Saugorgane sind durch den Bypass nur mit schwachem Unterdruck beaufschlagt, so daß sie die Druckplatte noch halten, sich diese jedoch auf den Saugorganen durch die Drehung des Plattenzylinders verschieben läßt. Vor dem Passieren der beiden oberen Saugerreihen durch die Druckplattenhinterkante werden dieser jeweils drucklos und Bügel 70 sorgen für das kollisionsfreie Vorbeigleiten der abgewinkelten Hinterkante an den Saugorganen. Anschließend wird die Andruckrolle 64 radial in Richtung auf den Druckplattenzylinder 1 bewegt, wodurch die abgewinkelte Druckplattenhinterkante 41 in die Hinterkantenklemmvorrichtung 40 des Druckplattenzylinders 1 hineingedrückt wird. Claims (16)

  1. Device, designed as a magazine (4), for removing and supplying printing plates (10, 9) from and to a printing-plate cylinder (1) of a printing machine for an automatic printing-plate change, with a plate-removal apparatus (13) having first holding means (17) and with a plate-supply apparatus (16), characterized in that the plate-supply apparatus (16) has a plurality of successively activatable second holding means for the printing plate (9) which are arranged in a distributed manner, in that a sensor (61) monitors the rear edge of the printing plate (9) to be used for a perfect supply to the printing-plate cylinder (1), and in that during the supply of the printing plate (9) to the printing-plate cylinder (1), the second holding means (55) assigned to the front edge (44) of the printing plate (9) can be displaced transversely relative to the printing-plate plane in a controllable manner, so that the rear edge (41) of the printing plate (9) can pass them without collision.
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the second holding means (55) are arranged distributed over the length of the printing plates (9) to be used.
  3. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the second holding means (55) are arranged in a row.
  4. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the second holding means (55) are designed as activatable suction members (56).
  5. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the second holding means (55) are arranged on a carriage (54) which is movable along a guide (66).
  6. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the second holding means (55) assigned to the front edge (44) of the printing plate (9) release the printing plate (9) located approximately in or in the tensioning position before the printing plate (9) is tensioned at its front edge (44) on the printing-plate cylinder (1).
  7. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, during the operation of tensioning the front edge (44) of the printing plate (9), the second holding means (55) assigned to the rear edge (41) of the printing plate (9) continue to hold the printing plate (9) to be used.
  8. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by at least one pressure element (63), displaceable radially relative to the printing-plate cylinder (1) by activation and designed as a pressure roller (64), for introducing the angled rear edge (41) into a clamping device (40) of the printing-plate cylinder (1).
  9. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that one or more printing plates (9) to be supplied are arranged in a cassette (8), and this cassette (8) can be pushed into the magazine (4).
  10. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by a pressing-down device (62) which loads the printing plates (9) to be used transversely relative to their planes, in order to prevent them from tipping out of the associated cassette (8).
  11. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cassette (8) receiving the printing plates (9) to be used has spacers which are arranged between respective adjacent printing plates (9).
  12. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the spacers are designed as plastic tongues.
  13. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the spacers can be fastened to the cassette (8) with a catch fit.
  14. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the spacers are designed as two rows of individual tongues, these being arranged on the edge regions of the cassette in such a way that a tongue can be laid between two printing plates on each of the two sides.
  15. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the spacers are arranged on both sides in the region of the front row of suckers.
  16. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cassette (8) has a colour marking which relates to the associated printing unit (2) and therefore to the printing ink to be printed by the printing unit (2), that is to say the same colour for marking and printing ink.
