Description

The invention relates to a trilobal, fine-fibrillated filament yarn with a yarn viscosity RV of 40-55 and a strength of 30-45 cN / tex, in particular as a master yarn for texturing, and a method for producing the same.

Profiled polyhexamethylene adipamide yarns are known (US-A-4801503). The known yarn is a smooth filament with a band-shaped fibril cross-section with a single titer of 2.8 dtex, which is suitable as a spandex substitute for the production of stockings due to its high flexural strength. The deep bending module is mainly attributed to the special profile. The well-known yarn is produced in two stages as a so-called polyamide LOY yarn.

A polyamide LOY is to be understood as a filament which is wound up at spinning take-off speeds of up to approximately 1800 m / min; Polyamide POY is produced by spinning take-off speeds between 3700 and 5000 m / min.

The known yarns have extremely high melt viscosities and are used to produce artificial leather, for example. Production takes place at spinning speeds greater than or equal to 2500 m / min. They are unsuitable for textile use in weaving.

A disadvantage of polyamide LOY for the planned use of the present yarn can be seen above all in the low spinning speeds, which do not guarantee economical production. Another disadvantage is the poorer processing (thread breaks) of polyamide LOY at high speeds.

Die Herstellung von profilierten Filamenten im Titerbereich von glatten Strumpfgarnen mit Feinheiten von dtex 22 f 8, d. h. einem Einzeltiter von etwa dtex 2.8 bereitet keine Schwierigkeiten .It is also known that so far it has not been possible to produce finer, profiled filaments with sufficient dye homogeneity in the textile fabric with an acceptable titer regularity (U%). The production of profiled filaments in the titer range of smooth hosiery yarns with finenesses of dtex 22 f 8, d. H. a single titer of around dtex 2.8 is no problem.

On the other hand, the production of a fine-fibrillated profiled yarn from polyhexamethylene adipamide (nylon 66) POY presents considerable difficulties. This may be due to the fact that a round cross section of the fibril represents an ideal energy condition, from which one considerably moves away during profile spinning. With increasing fine fibrillation, the thread formation process becomes more unstable during melt spinning. This manifests itself above all in the fact that the titer regularity decreases sharply and that the finished fabric results in an uneven dyeability. These disadvantages are more common in melt spinning polyamide POY.

The thread viscosity is measured in a known manner as relative viscosity (RV) in formic acid.

To determine the color uniformity, a stocking section is knitted from any number of spinning reels of a solder. The stocking section is in a bath with the dye Alizarin light blue 4GL from Sandoz AG, Basel stained in a known manner and, after drying, measured colorimetrically for the different remissions (brightnesses) of the sections originating from the different spinning reels. The coefficient of variation of the remissions is calculated in a known manner.

The object of the invention is to provide a fine profiled original yarn for texturing or post-stretching, which is particularly suitable for warp threads in the weaving mill and does not have the dyeing disadvantages of the known profile threads.

Another object is to provide a filament yarn which in the finished textile fabric does not have a gloss known as "greasy" and has an improved, very soft feel.

The object is achieved according to the invention with a profile thread, by means of a single fibril titer <1.5 dtex, a high color uniformity (coefficient of variation) of <2 and a width / length ratio B / L of the fibril cross section of 0.5 to 0.7.

A profile thread, with a single fibril titer of <1.5 dtex, surprisingly shows no visible irregularities, such as streakiness in the colored fabric. It was possible for the first time to produce such a fine fibril titer with a POY starting material that has a color uniformity with a coefficient of variation of <2 and a titer regularity of Uster% <1. The width / length ratio of the filament cross section from 0.5 to 0.7, in particular around 0.6, is also particularly suitable for the textile requirements with regard to gloss and feel. The ratio of width and Length B / L, measured from the beginning of the leg for trilobal threads.

It is particularly useful to provide the filament yarn with a trilobal profile. In the field of texturing / stocking, threads with a generally flat profile can also be used.

In the production of the profiled polyamide filament yarn with a strength of 30-45 cN / tex, spray speeds of 8-14 m / min, in particular 8.5-10 m / min, preferably 12m / min, are used. They contribute significantly to improved yarn cleanliness.

The invention will be explained in more detail by means of examples.
