The invention relates to a vehicle window according to the preamble of
A vehicle window of this type is known from DE-PS 64 73 07, in which the frame consisting of two frame halves for the vehicle window is screwed into frame parts of the vehicle wall, an elastomeric seal being arranged between the frame and the outer skin of the vehicle wall. With this vehicle window, there is no possibility of opening it by moving the window pane within the frame. In addition, the vehicle wall at the window opening has to be manufactured with great accuracy already in the shell to ensure that the window is installed without tension.
From DE-PS 33 01 757 C2 a vehicle window is also known, with which an adaptation to body shell tolerances in the vehicle wall can be made when installing the vehicle window by means of shims. Although this vehicle window represents an independent component that can be fitted into the outer contour of the vehicle wall, it cannot be opened and closed.
The invention has for its object to improve a vehicle window of the type mentioned in such a way that it can be fitted as an independent component with the window pane to be opened and closed into the window opening of the vehicle wall, which is made with rough structural dimensions, without tension.
This object is achieved by the features according to the characterizing part of
The vehicle window thus represents a fully functional component that can be prefabricated outside the vehicle and that can be manufactured using simple tolerance-compensating means, such as a screw connection with spacers in between, can be fitted into the vehicle wall. The frame cases, which preferably consist of identical components made of cast aluminum, are mechanically easy to machine on the surfaces for the seals, guide strips and dust-proof brushes.

The vehicle window according to FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of a
The
The
The two complementarily composed,
The two webs 12 (FIG. 3) form a
The
