When the neutral point is exceeded: the movable blade 8 suddenly leaves the blade forming a fixed contact 16 to abut against a fixed point 23 of the movable blade 7 and the indicator light 30, for example designated as a heating indicator, goes out; the flexible tongue 20 of the movable blade 7 pushes on the lug 51 of the metal blade 48 and separates said blade 48 from the end 46 of the rivet 44. When the user desires a temperature lower than the temperature previously requested, the user rotates the rotary screw 10 of the thermostat 2 in the opposite direction so that the contact between the end of the blade 16 and the free end of the movable blade 8 comes to open. The insulating plug 22 therefore presses on the flexible tongue 20 and pushes it in, the lug 51 is thus released. Therefore, the end 47 of the metal blade 48 comes into contact with the end 46 of the rivet 44. This contact triggers the lighting of the indicator light 41, for example of red color, which indicates the too hot state of the soleplate of the iron. This indicator does not go out until the soleplate of the iron has cooled, that is to say when the free end of the bimetallic strip 6 has dropped slightly and occupies a position corresponding to the new desired temperature.

Dispositif de commande d'au moins deux voyants lumineux (30, 41) d'indication d'état montés sur un appareil électrodomestique équipé d'un thermostat réglable (2) à ouverture rapide par passage de point mort comprenant un support isolant (13, 14, 15) recevant un bras de thermostat (11), une lame (16) formant contact fixe, une lame mobile (7) pourvue d'une languette souple (20) sur laquelle appuie une cheville isolante (22) commandée par une vis rotative (10) permettant d'obtenir une température de consigne et une autre lame mobile (8) fixée à la lame mobile (7) et dont l'extrémité libre porte un contact fixe ainsi qu'une entretoise isolante (9) solidaire du bilame (6) et commandant les lames mobiles (7 et 8), la lame formant contact fixe (16) et les lames mobiles (7 et 8) étant fixées au support isolant, reliées respectivement à des bornes électriques par des liaisons électriques (3, 4) et alimentant les deux voyants lumineux (30, 41),
caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une lame conductrice élastique (48) comportant une extrémité libre (47) et une extrémité (49) fixée au support isolant (13, 14, 15), reliée électriquement par cette extrémité à la borne (19) et en prise avec la languette souple (20) par un moyen d'appui (51), et un élément conducteur (44) fixé sur l'entretoise isolante (9), relié par une liaison électrique à un des deux voyants lumineux et susceptible de venir au contact de l'extrémité (47) lorsque la température de chauffe est supérieure à la température de consigne.
