Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verpackung für einen rollenförmigen Körper, insbesondere für eine Klebefilm-Rolle, aus Karton, die den Körper an vier Seiten wenigstens teilweise umfaßt und eine Vorderwand, eine Rückwand sowie eine obere und untere Stirnwand aufweist.
  • Zum Verpacken derartiger Körper wurden bisher Kartonhülsen verwendet, die teilweise noch mit einer durchsichtigen Hülle aus Kunststoffolie oder dergleichen umgeben wurden.
  • Da die rollenförmigen Körper beim Herstellen oft sehr großen Durchmesserschwankungen unterworfen sind, kann der Körper sich entweder frei in einer solchen Verpackung bewegen oder er ist sehr stramm von der Verpackung umgeben.
  • Aus Rationalisierungs- und Umweltgründen werden derartige Verpackungen aber mehr und mehr ohne solche zusätzlichen Umhüllungen eingesetzt, wobei dann ein Spiel zwischen rollenförmigem Körper und Verpackung dazu führen würde, daß der Körper aus der Verpackung herausfällt. Auch müssen für verschiedene Durchmesser jeweils besondere Verpackungen vorgehalten werden, mit beträchtlichem Aufwand, Lagerkapazität etc.
  • Um dies zu vermeiden, liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, die Verpackung so auszugestalten, daß rollenförmige Körper auch bei unterschiedlichen Abmessungen sicher verpackt werden können.
  • Aus US A 3,184,046 ist eine Verpackung für rollenförmige Körper bekannt, wobei die obere Stirnwand mit einer Öffnung versehen ist, durch welche der rollenförmige Körper hindurchzutreten vermag, ohne daß damit eine Anregung gegeben wäre, wie man denn rollenförmige Körper unterschiedlicher Abmessungen sicher verpacken könnte.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß wenigstens die obere Stirnwand mit einer Öffnung versehen ist, durch welche der rollenförmige Körper hindurchzutreten vermag, wie dies im einzelnen im Patentanspruch 1 gekennzeichnet ist.
  • In diese Öffnung greift der rollenförmige Körper mit einem Abschnitt ein, so daß er sowohl bei Untermaß als auch bei Übermaß einen ausreichenden Halt erfährt.
  • Sehr vorteilhaft ist es dabei, daß gemäß der Erfindung als Öffnung in der oberen Stirnwand zwei Schlitze in den Begrenzungskanten zwischen oberer Stirnwand und Vorder- bzw. Rückwand vorgesehen sind.
  • Der verbleibende Zwischensteg ist aufgrund seiner verhältnismäßig geringen Breite dehnungsfähig, so daß ein Abmessungsausgleich des rollenförmigen Körpers auch hierbei erfolgen kann.
  • Sehr vorteilhaft ist es gemäß der Erfindung, wenn die Stirnwand mit einer rechteckförmigen Ausnehmung versehen ist, durch welche der Körper mit einem Teil seines Umfangs hindurchgreift.
  • Dabei ist es durchaus möglich, die eine obere Stirnwand mit Schlitzen und die andere mit einer Ausnehmung zu versehen.
  • Erfindungsgemäß wird eine sehr elastische Anpassung der Verpackung an unterschiedliche Körper-Abmessungen erreicht.
  • Dabei ist es sehr vorteilhaft, wenn erfindungsgemäß wenigstens ein Teil der Dehnungsschnitte bogenförmig ausgebildet ist.
  • Durch die bogenförmige Ausgestaltung der Dehnungsschnitte wird die Elastizität der Verpackung noch weiter erhöht und ein Einreißen unter Spannung vermieden.
  • Sehr vorteilhaft ist es auch, wenn erfindungsgemäß die Rückwand mit einem Verlängerungsabschnitt und die obere Stirnwand mit einem angelenkten Lappen versehen sind, die zum Verschließen der Verpackung miteinander verbindbar sind.
  • Damit ist ein besonders einfaches Verschließen der Verpackung ermöglicht; darüber hinaus kann in diesem Verschlußstreifen eine Aufhängeöse vorgesehen sein.
  • In der Zeichnung ist die Erfindung anhand mehrerer Ausführungsbeispiele veranschaulicht. Dabei zeigen:

    Herstellen einer Verpackung, mit einer Ausnehmung in der einen Stirnwand und

    ein Schaubild einer Verpackung hergestellt aus einem Zuschnitt gem. Fig. 1
  • Mit 1 ist in Fig. 1 ein Kartonzuschnitt bezeichnet, der eine Vorderwand 2 und eine Rückwand 3 aufweist, zwischen denen - über Faltlinien 4 und 5 angelenkt - eine untere Stirnwand 6 angeordnet ist.
  • Am gegenüberliegenden Ende der Vorderwand 2 ist eine weitere Faltlinie 7 eine obere Stirnwand 8 angelenkt, die durch eine Ausnehmung 9 in zwei Abschnitte unterteilt ist. In diese Stirnwand-Abschnitte 8 ragen Schnittlinien 10 hinein, die zur Vermeidung des Einreißens bogenförmig ausgebildet sind und die sich teilweise entlang einer Faltlinie 11 erstrecken, welche sich zwischen der oberen Stirnwand 8 und einem Lappen 12 befindet. In diesem Lappen 12 ist eine Ausnehmung 13 vorgesehen, die zusammen mit einer entsprechenden Ausnehmung 14 in der Rückwand 3 zum Aufhängen der fertigen Verpackung dient. In die Ausnehmung 9 steht ein an der Vorderwand 2 angeformter bogenförmiger Abschnitt 15, der zum teilweisen Abdecken des zu verpackenden Körpers vorgesehen ist.
  • In Fig. 2 ist eine fertig aufgerichtete und mit einem rollenförmigen Körper 40 gefüllte Verpackung dargestellt, die aus einem Zuschnitt 1 besteht, wie er in Fig. 1 gezeigt ist und zum Aufhängen an einem Verkaufsregal vorgesehen ist.

Claims (4)

  1. Einheit, die einen rollenförmigen Körper (40), insbesondere eine Klebefilm-Rolle und eine Verpackung (1) aus Karton für den Körper (40) aufweist, wobei die Verpackung den Körper an vier Seiten wenigstens teilweise umfaßt und eine Vorderwand (2), eine Rückwand (3) sowie eine obere (8) und untere (6) Stirnwand aufweist, und die obere Stirnwand (8) mit einer Öffnung bzw. Ausnehmung (9) versehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Anschluß an die Öffnung bzw. Ausnehmung (9) Dehnungsschnitte (10) in der oberen Stirnwand (8) vorgesehen sind, so daß der rollenförmige Körper (40) mit einem Teil seines Umfangs durch die Öffnung bzw. Ausdehnung hindurch greift und in Berührung mit den Dehnungsschnitten liegt.
  2. Einheit nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die obere Stirnwand (8) mit einer rechteckförmigen Ausnehmung (9) versehen ist, durch welche der Körper (40) mit einem Teil seines Umfangs hindurchgreift.
  3. Einheit nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß wenigstens ein Teil der Dehnungsschnitte (10) bogenförmig ausgebildet ist.
  4. Einheit nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Rückwand (3) mit einem Verlängerungsabschnitt und die obere Stirnwand (8) mit einem angelenkten Lappen (12) versehen sind, die zum Verschließen der Verpackung miteinander verbindbar sind.
