Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a harness for surfers and sailors, with a back part, two hip and stomach parts extending transversely to this and two shoulder parts adjoining the back part, which consist of one or more flexible plates or plates made of a plastic material, a lumbar support part, one tear-resistant covering of the plate or plates made of synthetic fiber as well as with back and shoulder straps for attaching the trapezoid to a hook plate or an expansion rail with a trapezoidal hook.
Trapezoids of this type in accordance with EP 175 955 A1 enable the surfer or the sailor to ride far beyond the surfboard or the side wall of the sailboat, if he is sailing hard on the wind with the surfboard or the sailboat, in order to access them Way to achieve a favorable center of gravity. Furthermore, the generic trapeze allows the surfer and sailor a strong relief of the arms for recovery phases. The trapeze known from EP 175 955 A1 is equipped with an inwardly curved support part which is adapted to the lumbar region of the spine and which is intended to provide optimal support for the spine and to counteract slipping of the trapeze on the body.
However, the mode of action aimed at with this lumbar support part of the known trapezoid is inadequate. Another disadvantage is that the freedom of movement of the surfer and the sailor during the various maneuvers is hindered by the support part integrated into the trapeze.
The invention has for its object to develop a harness for surfers and sailors with a support for the lumbar region, which is an effective remedy for and prevention of windsurfing and Back pain that occurs or occurs during sailing without restricting the freedom of movement of the surfer and the sailor.
This object is achieved according to the invention by a trapezoid with the features of
The subclaims contain advantageous and expedient developments of the invention.
The trapeze according to the invention is distinguished by the following advantages:
The support integrated into the trapeze for the lumbar region of a surfer or sailor made of interlocking support members, which when the surfer or sailor leans back into a stiff support band, which is adapted to the curvature of the spine in the lumbar region and which forms one when the surfer or sailor bends forward Spreading the flexible limb apart ensures an effective remedy and prevention of back pain occurring or occurring during windsurfing and sailing due to an optimal orthopedic fit. The support links ensure optimal freedom of movement when bending forward and a comfortable support for the spine when leaning back. By attaching one or two foam pads on the inside of the back of the trapezoid in the lumbar region by means of a Velcro fastener, the trapezoid of the spine of the surfer and the sailor can be individually adjusted. The support of the lumbar region through the interlocking support links in connection with the resilient, length-adjustable shoulder straps as well as the length-adjustable back and seat belts enables optimal power transmission through the harness and thus controlled, fatigue-free windsurfing. Furthermore, the desired height of the trapezoidal hook can be adjusted by length Infinitely adjustable shoulder, back, buttock and leg straps. Finally, the limited flexible support elements integrated into the trapeze protect the spine, kidneys and muscles against injuries, for example in the event of collisions and falls with back landings, and the trapeze provides effective protection against the cold.
