Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for removing, transporting, erecting and inserting folding boxes from a magazine containing the flat folded folding boxes into a conveyor, each with a completely erected folding box receiving conveyor cells, consisting of a planet carrier rotatable and drivable about a sun axis, a planetary part that is mounted on the planet carrier about an eccentric to the sun axis and parallel with it, and carries a gripping member with a gripper head holding the folding box and a planet gear coaxial with the planet axis, which runs directly or via an idler gear on a fixed sun gear coaxial with the sun axis, wherein the planet gear and the sun gear, possibly with the intermediate gear, form a gear transmission which, when the planet carrier rotates, superimposes a rotational movement on the planet part relative to the planet carrier, so that the gripper head rotates on a self-contained hypocycloid path centered on the sun axis with several reversal points, and from an erecting member
- the erecting member is controlled by a cam element which is rotatably mounted on the planet axis but is prevented from rotating with the planet part.
- the erection member is pivoted by a lever from a control curve of the cam element when the planet part is rotated, while the cam element is held by a coupling which is connected to a fixed rocker arm.
- the rotational movement of the erecting member is derived from the rotation of the planet part via the positioning curve. This includes restrictions on the control options for the erecting member, in particular with regard to major changes in position of the erecting member over short rotation paths of the planet carrier.
- the invention has for its object to provide a device of the type mentioned in such a way that the rotational movements of the erecting member relative to the gripping member can be controlled independently of the rotational movement of the planetary part relative to the planet carrier.
- the drive device for the erecting member has its own gear transmission with its own sun gear coaxial with the sun axis and its own planet gear rotatably mounted relative to the planet part, this gear transmission when the sun gear is at a standstill and the planet carrier rotates, the same rotation is superimposed on the planet part of the planet gear as that of the other gear transmission, that the erecting member also carries a drive wheel and, via this, has a 1: 1 rotation ratio with the planet gear of its drive device in gear connection, and that for rotating the erecting member relative to the gripping member, the sun gear of the drive device for the erecting member can be rotated relative to the sun gear of the gear transmission for the planetary part about the sun axis and with respect to this rotary movement is controllable.
- both sun gears stand still, when the planet carrier rotates, both planet gears experience the same rotation, that is to say none relative to each other, so that the gripping member and the erecting member do not change their mutual position. Only when the sun gear of the drive device for the erecting member is rotated with respect to the fixed sun gear of the gear transmission for the planetary part does the erecting member experience a corresponding rotation with respect to the planetary part and the gripping member, regardless of whether the planet carrier rotates and the planetary part is opposite the planet carrier turns or not.
- the rotational movement of the rotatable sun gear relative to the fixed sun gear can be controlled within very wide limits, so that the position and the actuating speed of the erecting member relative to the gripping member can be realized freely at any point of its rotation on the hypocycloid path.
- both planet gears experience no rotation relative to each other when the sun gears are stationary can be realized in the simplest way in the context of the invention in that the sun gear, the planet gear and possibly the intermediate gear of the drive device for the erecting member in size and number of teeth with the corresponding wheels of the gearbox for the planetary part match. If the sun gears are internally toothed, the externally toothed planet gears can mesh directly with the sun gears on the externally toothed sun gears, however, via the corresponding externally toothed intermediate gears.
- the invention further consists in that a separate planet part is provided for each gripping member and the erecting member assigned to it, and these planet parts are distributed on the planet carrier around the sun axis and run with their own planet gear on the common fixed sun gear.
- This arrangement is possible because the erection elements are no longer controlled as a function of the rotational movement of the planet part, and is associated with the important advantage that the distribution of the planet parts on the planet carrier around the sun axis largely prevents imbalance.
- the drive devices for the erecting members each have their own sun gear and these sun gears can be rotated independently of one another and their rotational movements can be controlled independently of one another.
- a particularly advantageous embodiment in terms of construction is characterized in that, in the case of gear transmissions with planet gears running on an external toothing of the sun gear via an idler gear, the sun gears of the drive devices for the erecting members are seated on shafts which are coaxial with the sun axis and which are independent of one another are rotatable via their own drive links.
- a particularly expedient embodiment that meets these conditions is characterized in that the drive devices for the erecting members have a common rotatable sun gear, and that the angle by which the planet parts on the planet carrier are offset from one another about the sun axis depends on the angle between successive reversal points of the Hypocycloid trajectory is different. This applies, for example, to three planet parts which are offset by 120 ° on the planet carrier and one Hypocycloid orbit with four reversal points or, even easier, with two planet parts offset by 180 ° and a hypocycloid orbit with three reversal points.
- control of the erecting members can surprisingly be achieved very simply in that the rotatable sun gear of the drive devices for the erecting members is coupled via a crank rod to a drive crank which rotates twice as fast as the planet carrier and over the length of the crank arm Rotation stroke of the erecting organs determined.
- the devices shown in the drawing are used according to FIG. 1 for removing, transporting, erecting and inserting folding boxes 1 from one the magazine 2, which has been folded flat, into an endlessly rotating conveyor 3, each with a completely erected folding box receiving receiving cells 4, of which only one is shown in FIG. 1 for the sake of simplicity.
- the folding boxes 1 are transferred with the aid of a gripper head 5 ', not shown in FIG. 1 itself, which runs through a hypocycloid path 7 with three reversal points 7' between the magazine 2 and the conveyor 3 in the direction of the arrows 6, the one shown in FIG. 1 upper right reversal point is assigned to magazine 2, the lower reversal point is assigned to conveyor 3.
- the device consists of a planet carrier 10 which is rotatable about a sun axis 8 forming the axis of the hypocycloid path 7 and which can be driven in the direction of arrow 9, the drive thereof in FIG. 2 via an outer ring gear 45 with a toothed belt 46, in FIG. 3 by the drive shaft 40 with drive gears 41 and also toothed belt 42.
- Two planet parts 11 are mounted on the planet carrier 10 in an arrangement offset from one another by 180 °, each rotating about a planet axis 12 that is eccentric to the sun axis 8 and parallel to it.
- Each planetary part 11 carries a gripping member 5 in a torsion-resistant manner, with the gripping head 5 'holding the folding box 1, which is formed by suction cups with which it detects the folding boxes 1, the suction cups for grasping, holding and releasing the folding boxes 1 not being closer to the vacuum to be described depending on the rotational position of the planet parts and the planet carrier is controllable.
- Each planetary part 11 further carries a planetary gear 13 coaxial with the planetary axis 12, which directly, as in FIG. 3, or runs indirectly via an intermediate gear 14, as in FIG. 2, on a fixed sun gear 15 coaxial with the sun axis 8.
- the planet gear 13 of each planet part 11 and the sun gear 15, optionally with the intermediate gear 14, form a gear transmission which, when the planet carrier 10 rotates, superimposes a rotary movement on the respective planet part 11 relative to the planet carrier 10, so that the gripper head 5 'rotates on the hypocycloid path 7 .
- an erection member 17 is mounted on each planetary part 11 so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation 18, which comes into contact with a stop part 17 'during its rotational movements on the folding box 1 and in doing so erects the folding box 1 around the box edge 1', possibly breaking it and then breaking it Folding box 1 fixed when inserted into the feed cell 4 in the fully erected state.
- These different positions of the stop part 17 'in relation to the plane 16 of the gripper head 5', in which the folding box 1 is held thereon, are indicated schematically in FIG. 1, the folding boxes 1 being shown in dashed lines in their various positions, partly with hatching .
- the axis of rotation 18 of the gripping member 17 lies in the edge 1 ', around which the folding box 1 is erected and broken in the direction of the arrow 19.
- Drive devices each with its own gear transmission with its own sun gear 25, 25 'coaxial with the sun axis 8 and its own planet gear 26, 26' mounted rotatably relative to the planet part 11 about the planet axis 12.
- sun gear 25, 25 'and the rotation of the planet carrier 10 stop their respective planet gear 26, 26', these gear transmissions overlap the same rotation as the previously described gear transmission 13, 14, 15 of the planet part 11.
- the sun gears 15, 25 have the same diameter of their ring gear with a number of teeth of 165 and the planet gears 13, 26 have the same diameter with a number of teeth of 55.
- This relative rotation of the planet gears 26, 26 ' for the erecting member 17 is via an intermediate gear 27 on also designed as a gear, meshing with the intermediate gear 27 drive wheel 28 of the erector 17, wherein the gear ratio must be 1: 1 between the wheels 27 and 28, so both wheels 27, 28 must be toothed 1: 1.
- the rotational movements of the sun gears 25, 25 'for the drive devices of the erecting members 17 can be controlled in a manner to be described in accordance with the rotational movements required for the latter.
- the sun gears 25, 25 ' are provided with external teeth.
- the drive devices for the erecting members 17 each have their own sun gear 25 or 25 '. These two sun gears can be rotated independently of one another and their rotational movements can also be controlled independently of one another.
- the sun gears 25, 25 ' are seated on two shafts 30, 30' coaxial with the sun axis 8, for which purpose the outer shaft 30 is designed as a hollow shaft.
- the two shafts 30, 30 'and thus the sun gears 25, 25' seated on them can be rotated independently of one another via their own drive members 31, 31 'in a suitable manner which is not part of the invention and therefore can no longer be described.
- the sun gears 15, 25 are internally toothed.
- the externally toothed planet gears 13, 26 mesh directly with the sun gears.
- the drive devices for the erecting members 17 have a common rotatable sun gear 25 Angle by which the planet parts 11 on the planet carrier 10 are offset from one another about the sun axis 8, namely 180 °, is different from the angle between successive reversal points 7 'of the hypocycloid path 7, namely 120 °, so that the gripping heads 5' of both never Planet parts 11 can be at the same time in reversal points 7 'of the hypocycloid 7.
- the sun gear 25 common to the two erection members 17 is then to be controlled such that the erection members 17 each passing one of the reversal points 7 'of the hypocycloid path 7 have the rotational position prescribed for this reversal point. 3 and 4, this is achieved in a surprisingly simple manner in that the sun gear 25 is coupled via a crank rod 32 to a drive crank 33 which is driven about its axis 34 twice as fast as the one seated on the drive shaft 40 Planet carrier 10.
- the rotational stroke of the erecting members 17 can be influenced over the length of the crank arm 35.
