The present invention relates to a new safety opening device, which can only be opened from the inside, allowing the release of a person accidentally locked in a fixed or mobile refrigerated box, such as the refrigerated boxes mounted on trucks or railroad cars. of iron.

There are currently many accidents in refrigerated spaces because the doors are generally only accessible from the outside. In addition, the doors of the mobile refrigerated boxes can be protected by a padlock or sealed.

According to the proposal of French patent n ° 85 10488, the opening of an automatic locking lock can be carried out using a through rod. This system is not adaptable to other closing methods, notably padlocked closings.

The device according to the invention makes it possible initially to improve the precarious conditions of a person locked up by the contribution of light, oxygen and the possibility of communicating with the outside by an opening accessible exclusively from the inside.

Secondly, this opening can give access to the external closing system of the main door.

The opening of a reduced-size orifice also acts as a valve to eliminate the pressure difference between the interior and the exterior, making it possible to open the door without difficulty.

Preferably, a shutter will be located at the point of anchoring of the main locking, allowing the separation of the assembly without the need to actuate this locking; this allows to bypass all kinds of temporary locks of the main door, for example by padlock or others.

The shutter a priori has the same insulation as the wall. The slots between the shutter and the wall are advantageously sealed by the application of blades flexible or inflatable tubes and hard seals, or any combination of these devices.
