Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an alpine ski boot comprising a shell base surmounted by a rod at least partially articulated on the latter and at least one device for controlling the active bending of said rod in the postero-anterior direction, consisting of a slider adjustable in position, transverse to the longitudinal axis of the shoe, to define a movable rigid support point, at least partially between the lower front edge of the articulated rod and a fixed part of the shell base
  • a bending control device is to allow intervention on the advancement angle of the rod relative to the shell base, an angle which can vary around an average value depending on the circumstances and the level of the skier. Indeed, a high level skier works in a very flexed position, unlike an amateur who will adopt a less significant angle of advance. The state of the snow can also affect the position taken by the skier.
  • a bending control device has the advantage, for skiers, of being able to intervene, according to their personal criteria, on the stiffness of the articulation of the rod on the shell base by controlling the angle. average advance.
  • a device of this type is known from French patent No. 2,513,862 proposing a shoe and the upper is composed of a cuff and a rear cover, said cuff carrying, in its lower part covering the shell base, approximately radially to an axis of articulation of the rod, an extension cooperating in the vicinity of its end, with a support point secured to the shell base and defining a bending leaf spring working against variations in the advancement angle of the rod.
  • the active length of the blade is modifiable by means of adjustment constituted by a slide moving in a slide, said slide making a jumper on the extension forming the leaf spring, of which it determines the active bending length.
  • the shape of the front cover is relatively complex to produce.
  • the entire rod in the event of deterioration of the lower edge of the cuff, the entire rod must be dismantled for reconditioning.
  • an alpine ski boot comprising a shell base surmounted by an at least partially articulated rod on the latter and at least one device for controlling active bending of said rod in the postero-anterior direction comprising a cursor constituted by a sliding member capable of being moved in translation transversely to the longitudinal axis of the shoe, the cursor defining a movable fulcrum between the lower front edge of the rod and a fixed part of the shell base.
  • the cursor moves in a groove defined between the shell base and the lower front edge of the rod.
  • the slider is also provided with a ball locking system intended to engage in any one of a series of notches obtained on the lower front edge of the rod.
  • an alpine ski boot comprising a shell base provided with a sole and surmounted by an at least partially articulated rod on the latter and at least one device for controlling the active flexion of said rod in the postero-anterior direction, comprising a cursor adjustable in position, constituted by a sliding member capable of being moved in translation transversely to the longitudinal axis of the shoe, to define a point d mobile support, between the lower front edge of the articulated rod and a fixed part of the shell base, characterized in that the support cursor of the bending control device of the rod constituting the sliding member is capable of being moved in translation on a guide rail integral with the shell base and extending substantially parallel to at least part of said edge anterior lower stem.
  • the sliding member is constituted by a slide forming a frame around the guide rail, the section of which is substantially corresponding to the internal section of the frame forming said slide.
  • the guide rail is attached to the bottom of the shell to which it is secured, either permanently or detachably to allow its replacement possible.
  • a device can thus be designed independently of the bottom of the shell and allow easy mounting of a slider or slide forming a frame on the rail, that is to say with wrapping of the transverse profile. of the last.
  • the fixed part of the shell base can be constituted by a projection and / or a shoulder produced on the latter or simply by the points of attachment and / or attachment of the rail thereon.
  • the forward bending movements and forces of the rod are transmitted to the cursor, which, resting on the projection, defines a rigid fulcrum.
  • the forward bending stresses of the rod are transmitted to the slider, which not being blocked on an affixed support zone, tends to elastically deform the guide rail on which it is mounted . A certain damping of the flexions is thus obtained, which may be desirable depending on the type of skier for which the ski boot is intended.
  • the shoe 1 shown in FIG. 1 comprises a shell base 2 provided with the sole 3 and surmounted by a rod 4 at least partially articulated by means of a hinge rivet 5 disposed on said shell base 2.
  • the shoe 1 further comprises a device for controlling active flexion 6, designated as a whole, of said upper 4 in the postero-anterior direction.
  • the bending control device 6 is constituted by a slider 7 adjustable in position, transversely, to define a rigid support point movable, at least partially, between the lower front edge 8 of the articulated rod 4 and a fixed part 9 of the hull base 2.
  • the support slider device 7 of the bending control device 6 of the rod 4 is constituted by a sliding member capable of being moved in translation on a guide rail 10 secured to the shell base 4 and extending substantially parallel to at least part of said anterior lower edge 8 of rod 4.
  • the sliding member is constituted by a slide forming a frame around the guide rail 10 whose section is substantially corresponding to the internal section of said frame formed in the aforementioned slide.
  • the rail 10 is of rectangular section and is connected at its two ends 11 and 12, to the shell base 2.
  • the rail 10 forms a bridge to define between its underside 13 facing the shell base 2 and a corresponding surface 14 thereof, located opposite, a sliding space 15, in the height direction , reserved for the lower part 16 of the slide 7.
  • the fixed part 9 of the shell base 2 is constituted by an elongated projection extending substantially parallel to the guide rail 10 and the lower edge 8 of the front part of the rod 4 to define on the one hand between the latter and the projection 9 of the shell base 2, a sliding passage 17, in the width direction, of the cursor 7 thus interposed between the rod 4 and the shell base 2
  • the projection 9 also constitutes a stop at the said cursor 7 during the bending of the rod 4, in a postero-anterior direction.
  • the cursor 7 comprises indexing means in position along the steep guide 10, by means of elastic means associated with a boss 18 cooperating with notches 19, constituting said means of indexing.
  • the boss 18 is produced on the underside 20 of the slider 7 facing the shell base 2, which boss 18 is able to cooperate with one of the notches 19, formed on the shell base 2 on a line corresponding to the translational movement of said cursor 7.
  • this differs essentially from the previous one in that the boss 18A is produced on an internal face 21 of the frame of the slide 7A, which boss 18A is able to cooperate with one of the notches 19A formed on a corresponding face 22 of the rail 10A, located opposite said internal face 21 of the frame.
  • the boss 18A is produced on a lower longitudinal internal face 21 of the frame, the notches 19A being formed on a lower face 22 of the rail, turned towards the shell base 2.
  • the boss can be produced on a longitudinal internal face not lower but upper of the frame.
  • the notches are formed on an external upper face of the rail (not shown in the figures).
  • the elastic means associated with the indexing means ie the boss 18.18A and the notches 19.19A, are constituted by the elastic deformation power of the guide rail 10.10A between its two ends 11,12 in the height direction.
  • Figures 3 and 4 respectively show the rails 10 or 10A in position A called rest (solid line) and in position B called work (dotted lines).
