- the present invention relates to a rolling door or roll-up door comprising a flexible door leaf which is rolled up round an upper roller and which, when unrolled therefrom, closes a door opening; a motor for turning the roller in both the unrolling and the rolling-up direction; two upper pulleys which are coaxial with the roller and disposed one at each end of the roller so as to turn with the roller; and two ropes each travelling over a lower pulley provided in the lower part of the door opening, each rope being fixed, at one end, to the free end of the door leaf and, at the other end, to an upper pulley, so as to be rolled up round the upper pulley when the roller is turned in the unrolling direction and be unrolled from the upper pulley when the roller is turned in the rolling-up direction.

- the object of the present invention is to provide a roll-up door of this type, which is equipped with a particularly simple device for stretching the door leaf when wholly or partly unrolled, the stretching force produced by the device increasing as the door leaf is unrolled.

- the springs 7 obviously ensure that the weight of the door leaf 1 is counterbalanced in such a manner that the door leaf either is retained in its position without dropping, or is rolled up round the roller 2, if the motor is disengaged, e.g. in the event of a power failure.
- the space-saving embodiment shown in Fig. 3 requires very little space outside the wall in which the door opening is formed.

Claims (1)
- Rolltür mit einem biegbaren Türblatt (1), das auf eine obere Rolle (2) aufgerollt ist und, wenn es von der Rolle abgerollt ist, eine Türöffnung verschliesst; einem Motor zum Drehen der Rolle in sowohl der Abroll- als auch der Aufrollrichtung; zwei oberen Scheiben (4), die mit der Rolle koaxial sind und jeweils an einem Ende der Rolle angebracht sind, um sich mit der Rolle zu drehen; und zwei Seilen (6), die sich über je eine im unteren Teil der Türöffnung vorgesehene untere Scheibe (5) bewegen, wobei jedes Seil (6) am einen Ende am freien Ende des Türblatts (1) und am anderen Ende an der oberen Scheibe (4) befestigt ist, um auf die obere Scheibe aufgerollt zu werden, wenn die Rolle (2) in der Abrollrichtung gedreht wird, und von der oberen Scheibe abgerollt zu werden, wenn die Rolle in der Aufrollrichtung gedreht wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die beiden oberen Scheiben (4) einen grösseren Durchmesser haben als die Rolle (2) und mit der Rolle durch ein Federmittel (7) verbunden sind, das vorgesehen ist, beim Drehen der Rolle (2) in der Abrollrichtung die beiden unteren Scheiben (4) in dieser Bewegung mitzureissen, wobei das Federmittel (7) derart angebracht ist, dass seine Federspannung zunimmt, wenn die Rolle (2) somit gedreht wird, weil wegen des Durchmesserunterschieds die oberen Scheiben (4) sich langsamer drehen als die Rolle.
