Definitions
- the invention relates to a wall covering, in particular a panel, for fastening goods carriers or the like, consisting of a layer of wood, chipboard or the like, in which preferably parallel T-shaped or L-shaped grooves are formed by milling, into which corresponding T- or L- shaped profiles made of metal are used, each groove having a groove slot running in the region of one of the surfaces of the layer or plate.
- Wall coverings, in particular panels, for fastening goods carriers generally have a layer of solid wood or consist of a particle board, which is preferably pressed under high pressure. Wall coverings of this type, also called lamella walls, are used for the assembly of product carriers.
- a disadvantage of the known panels is that the T-shaped or L-shaped profile is used in correspondingly profiled grooves Forces caused by metal rails caused by goods carriers lead to the undercut wood or chipboard layer breaking out.
- a protruding section, at least partially overlapping the inserted metal profile is defined, which must absorb the entire force generated by the product carrier, in particular when the metal profile is loosely inserted.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of improving a wall covering of the type mentioned in such a way that higher forces generated by goods carriers or the like can be absorbed without risk of damage to the panels.
- each groove is provided on the side facing away from the slot slot with an incision extending approximately perpendicular to the groove axis and in that the profiles are made of metal in such a way that a profile section engages in the incision of the panel.
- the incision in the grooves has an approximately semicircular profile.
- the cuts in the grooves are formed symmetrically to the groove axis, in which case the profiles made of metal preferably have correspondingly running symmetrical profile sections which engage in the cuts.
- the incisions which extend laterally outwards from the groove axis, are preferably provided in the region of the groove bottom and are therefore at the greatest possible distance from the outer surface of the panels that receives the groove slot.
- a force distribution through the goods carrier or The same forces generated in the metal profiles ensure that a substantial part of the forces occurs in the slot of the groove, that is, in an area in which the distance to the outer surface of the panel is comparatively large.
- the forces occurring are thus distributed in the cross section of the panels and do not act exclusively on the section of the panel which is step-shaped in profile and which overlaps the metal profile in the region of the outer surface of the panel.
- vertical grooves are provided which are essentially T-shaped and are provided with the incisions described.
- the grooves running in the vertical direction do not serve to accommodate product carriers, but rather metal profiles which are provided for holding carriers for shelves or the like.
- FIG. 1 shows a sectional view of a part of a panel according to the invention, which in the usual way consists of a layer 1 made of wood, particle board or preferably a particle board pressed under high pressure.
- L-shaped grooves 2 are introduced into the layer 1, which is preferably carried out by milling out using an appropriate tool.
- a metal profile 4 is inserted into the L-shaped groove formed in this way, which has a profile corresponding to the groove 2.
- FIG. 1 has an essentially L-shaped groove 2, which according to the invention is provided with an incision 6, which is formed from the groove bottom 2 in FIG. 1 by an appropriate milling tool and over the entire length of the groove 2 runs. In this way, a laterally or upwardly extending recess of the otherwise L-shaped groove 2 is created at the bottom of the essentially L-shaped groove. According to FIG. 1, a metal profile is inserted into the groove 2, which has the predetermined profile.
- a groove slot 10 is defined by the metal profile 4 or the groove 2, which slot is used for inserting product carriers, clamping devices or the like.
- the metal profile 4 thus has a projection 12 which represents a profile section striving from the L-shaped profile. This profile section 12 maintains a distance from the panel surface 8 which corresponds approximately to the groove depth.
- the profile section 12 is located on the upward-facing side of the metal profile 4, which enables goods carriers to be hooked in or hooked in and unintentionally detached from the metal profile 4 is effectively prevented.
- the metal profile 4 consists of a base 4a, from which a leg 16 struts approximately at right angles in the direction of the surface 8.
- the base 4 is extended upwards and bent back in a step-like manner after the profile section 12, as a result of which a profile wall 17, which also runs essentially perpendicular to the base 4a, is fixed.
- the wall 17 is adjoined by a profile section running downwards at a right angle to the wall 17, which is designated by 14 and from which a wall section 18 runs back to the surface of the panel 8 at a right angle.
- the metal profile 4, with its outward-facing edges 19a, 19b, is preferably flush with the surface of the panel 8.
- the panel in addition to the essentially horizontal slot slots 10, which are defined by the slots 2, the panel is provided with vertical slots 20, into which a metal profile is inserted, as is subsequently used in connection with FIGS. 4 and 5 is described.
- Figure 2 shows an embodiment modified from Figure 1.
- the embodiment according to FIG. 2 differs from the embodiment according to FIG. 1 in that the groove 2 and the metal profile 4 are each formed symmetrically are, ie have essentially T-shaped shape. Accordingly, the T-shaped groove 2 is provided symmetrically to the groove axis with incisions 6, 6 'and the metal profile 4 has corresponding upward and downward extensions or flanges 12, 12' which engage in the incisions 6, 6 '.
- the profile sections 6 are at a distance from the panel surface 8 which corresponds approximately to the depth of the groove 2.
- the profile of the metal profile 4 essentially corresponds to that described with reference to FIG. 1, but with the difference that the profile is mirror-symmetrical to the groove axis 11.
- the wall 16 of the metal profile 4 is omitted and is replaced by a profile cross section which corresponds to the course of the profile sections designated 12, 17, 14 and 18.
- the panels 1 are fastened in a vertical arrangement to masonry or the like, so that the slot slots 10 run essentially horizontally, while the slot slots 20, insofar as they are provided, run vertically and do not move any further for locking shown carrier serve.
- the slots 10 run essentially horizontally
- the slot slots 20, insofar as they are provided run vertically and do not move any further for locking shown carrier serve.
- shelves or the like are fixed on the supports, not shown.
- the slot slot is defined between the outwardly facing edges 19a, 19b of the metal profile 4, in such a way that the slot slot lies in the outer surface of the panel 8.
- the panels 8 are provided with a surface coating, which is selected as required, and made of a plastic or color coating can exist.
- the metal profiles 4 are designed such that they can be easily inserted into the grooves 2. If necessary, the metal profiles 4 are glued to the grooves 2 surrounding them.
- the incisions 6 and 6, 6 ' are circular, preferably semicircular, in order to accommodate metal profiles, preferably profiles made of aluminum, with corresponding curves in the region of the profile sections 12.
- a distance c is maintained between the profile section 12 and the panel surface 8, which distance is greater than a, but is equal to or in any case less than b. This ensures that the metal profile 4 sits snugly in the groove 2 and in the panel 8, so that the forces caused by load carriers or the like are distributed over the profile section 12 to the surrounding cross section of the layer 1.
- FIG. 3 shows a preferred embodiment of such a metal profile 30.
- the metal profile 30 consists of a U-shaped base 32, from which laterally step-shaped profile sections 34 strive.
- the 35 designated profile sections strive laterally outwards at about half the height of the U-shaped profile section 32 and pass into a profile section 36, preferably pointing vertically downward from the profile section 35, to which a further, approximately circular profile section 39 is attached.
- FIG. 3 shows an embodiment of the invention modified compared to FIG. 2.
- the essential difference between the embodiment according to FIG. 3 and the embodiment according to FIG. 2 is that the regions adjoining the bends 12 and 12 'lie parallel to one another and, in contrast to FIG. 2, the incisions 6, 6' within the metal profile do not Specify the distance, but rest against each other without maintaining a distance in the manner of a flanging.
- the profile according to FIG. 3 is thus essentially step-shaped, with flange-shaped sections extending from the profile axis 11 upwards and downwards, which, however, like the sections 12 according to FIG. 2, distribute forces over the entire cross-section of the panel when in the Metal profiles or the groove 10 hooks or other brackets are used, which exert a force on the metal profiles due to attached loads.
- the metal profile shown in FIG. 4 represents a preferred embodiment, but can be subject to various changes.
- the extensions of the U-shaped profile section 32, designated 37, can be omitted, and the profile can also be closed by a wall 41, as shown in FIG.
- slots 40 are provided which are aligned with one another and are formed over the entire length of the metal profile 30.
- the slots 40 serve to receive carriers or the like.
- the inventive profiling of groove 2 and metal profile 4 a much higher strength and a firm fit of the metal profiles 4 within the grooves 2 is ensured in the case of panels.
- the forces exerted on the metal profiles 4 by load carriers or the like can be considerably greater in relation to known arrangements of this type without there being a risk that the metal profiles will break out as a result of the metal profile 4 covering step breaking out of wood , Pressboard or the like loosen.
- the forces exerted by the metal profile 4 in this case are rather distributed over the total thickness of the panel 1, in particular also in the region of the profile section 12 which is enclosed in the panel 1 by a comparable "meat" thickness of wood, pressboard or the like.
- the vertical grooves 20 can optionally have the substantially L-shaped profile corresponding to FIG. 1, but also the substantially T-shaped profile as in FIGS. 2 and 3, but also the profile as shown in FIG Connection to the metal profile with respect to the grooves 10 is shown in Figure 3.
- the profiles according to FIGS. 4 and 5 can additionally be provided with bores, so that in the case of vertically inserted profiles of the type shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the panels are fastened by means of screws, not shown, via the profiles according to FIGS. 4 or 5 in relation to the rear the panel, masonry not shown in the drawings can be done.
- the metal profile according to FIG. 4 is advantageous in that the profile is prevented from being squeezed together by the protruding U-shaped sections 37.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a wall covering, in particular a panel, for fastening goods carriers or the like, consisting of a layer of wood, chipboard or the like, in which preferably parallel T-shaped or L-shaped grooves are formed by milling, into which corresponding T- or L- shaped profiles made of metal are used, each groove having a groove slot running in the region of one of the surfaces of the layer or plate.
Wall coverings, in particular panels, for fastening goods carriers generally have a layer of solid wood or consist of a particle board, which is preferably pressed under high pressure. Wall coverings of this type, also called lamella walls, are used for the assembly of product carriers. A disadvantage of the known panels is that the T-shaped or L-shaped profile is used in correspondingly profiled grooves Forces caused by metal rails caused by goods carriers lead to the undercut wood or chipboard layer breaking out. In the known panels between the groove bottom and the outside of the panel, a protruding section, at least partially overlapping the inserted metal profile, is defined, which must absorb the entire force generated by the product carrier, in particular when the metal profile is loosely inserted.
The invention is therefore based on the object of improving a wall covering of the type mentioned in such a way that higher forces generated by goods carriers or the like can be absorbed without risk of damage to the panels.
This object is achieved in that each groove is provided on the side facing away from the slot slot with an incision extending approximately perpendicular to the groove axis and in that the profiles are made of metal in such a way that a profile section engages in the incision of the panel.
Further refinements of the invention result from the subclaims.
According to a preferred embodiment, the incision in the grooves has an approximately semicircular profile. According to a further modification of the invention, the cuts in the grooves are formed symmetrically to the groove axis, in which case the profiles made of metal preferably have correspondingly running symmetrical profile sections which engage in the cuts.
The incisions, which extend laterally outwards from the groove axis, are preferably provided in the region of the groove bottom and are therefore at the greatest possible distance from the outer surface of the panels that receives the groove slot. In this way, a force distribution through the goods carrier or The same forces generated in the metal profiles ensure that a substantial part of the forces occurs in the slot of the groove, that is, in an area in which the distance to the outer surface of the panel is comparatively large. The forces occurring are thus distributed in the cross section of the panels and do not act exclusively on the section of the panel which is step-shaped in profile and which overlaps the metal profile in the region of the outer surface of the panel.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, in addition to the normally horizontal grooves for receiving the metal profiles, which are used for the use of the goods carriers, vertical grooves are provided which are essentially T-shaped and are provided with the incisions described.
The grooves running in the vertical direction do not serve to accommodate product carriers, but rather metal profiles which are provided for holding carriers for shelves or the like.

In die auf diese Weise ausgebildete L-förmige Nut wird ein Metallprofil 4 eingeschoben, das eine der Nut 2 entsprechende Profilierung besitzt.FIG. 1 shows a sectional view of a part of a panel according to the invention, which in the usual way consists of a layer 1 made of wood, particle board or preferably a particle board pressed under high pressure. The embodiment shown in FIG. 1 has an essentially L-
In the area of the surface of the panel designated by 8, a
While in the prior art the forces generated by goods carriers, clamping devices, etc. acted almost exclusively in the area of the profile wall designated by 14 on the section of the panel designated by 15 with a purely L-shaped profile, the invention achieves that the
In the case of a vertically arranged
According to a further embodiment of the invention, in addition to the essentially
Figure 2 shows an embodiment modified from Figure 1. The embodiment according to FIG. 2 differs from the embodiment according to FIG. 1 in that the
The profile of the
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, in comparison to the embodiment according to FIG. 1, the
As can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, the panels 1 are fastened in a vertical arrangement to masonry or the like, so that the
In the embodiment according to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the slot slot is defined between the outwardly facing
Although not shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
The
In the embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
In addition to the grooves denoted by 2,
The essential difference between the embodiment according to FIG. 3 and the embodiment according to FIG. 2 is that the regions adjoining the
The metal profile shown in FIG. 4 represents a preferred embodiment, but can be subject to various changes. For example, the extensions of the
In the base of the
The inventive profiling of
In the case of the panels according to FIGS. 1 to 3, the
The profiles according to FIGS. In this case, the metal profile according to FIG. 4 is advantageous in that the profile is prevented from being squeezed together by the protruding
