Abstract

- The invention relates to a box for packaging and presenting objects, as well as to blanks for producing it. - The box, produced from a cardboard-type or synthetic material and including a base (3), side walls forming its enclosing wall (belt) (4), as well as a closure lid (5) attached onto the said enclosing wall (belt), is noteworthy in that the said side enclosing wall (belt) (4) comprises at least one wall (4D) inclined by an obtuse angle with respect to the said base (3) and against which the series of objects (2) arranged one against the other is capable of leaning, and in that the said lid has at least one side edge (9D) which is inclined by an acute angle with respect to its upper wall (8) and applied against the inclined wall (4D) of the said enclosing wall (belt) in the closed position of the said box. <IMAGE>

Description

The present invention relates to a box for the packaging and presentation of objects subsequently intended for sale.

More particularly, although not exclusively, the box according to the invention is intended to contain a plurality of objects, arranged one against the other, such as parallelepipedic packages inside which are respectively housed articles of clothing, for example.

Boxes are already known which serve both for packaging and then for the presentation of said objects. They are often made of a folded cardboard material, and have a parallelepiped shape adapted to said objects and consisting of a bottom, a side belt whose walls are erected perpendicular to said bottom, and a closure cover attached to the belt.

Thus, after the storage of said objects, generally automatically, in the box, the cover is put in place to ensure its closure, until the moment of the sale of said objects, where it is removed allowing the presentation of said objects.

Although these boxes are widely used because of their dual function (packaging and presentation), they nevertheless have drawbacks.

First of all, the inviolability of the boxes is not guaranteed, since their lid can be easily lifted or temporarily removed, then put back, in order to steal the said objects in the meantime, and only notice this "disappearance" when they are opened, i.e. when they go on sale of said objects. Consequently, it happens that such boxes are partially or completely emptied of their content.

Furthermore, the presentation of said objects aligned vertically one after the other inside the open boxes proves to be mediocre from a commercial point of view, since these, surrounded by the lateral belt of the box, n 'appear to the eyes of customers only by their top side.

The object of the present invention is to remedy these drawbacks and relates to a box whose design makes it possible to guarantee its inviolability and to improve the very presentation of said objects.

For this purpose, the box for packaging and presenting objects, in particular arranged one against the other, of the type made of a cardboard, synthetic or similar material, and comprising a bottom, side walls forming its belt, as well as a cover. of closure attached to said belt, is remarkable, according to the invention, in that said lateral belt comprises at least one wall inclined at an obtuse angle relative to said bottom and against which is likely to lean the series of objects arranged against each other, and in that said cover has at least one lateral edge inclined at an acute angle relative to its top wall, and pressing against the inclined wall of said belt in the closed position of said box .

Thus, thanks to the invention, the production of a side wall inclined at an obtuse angle, with which cooperates an edge inclined at an acute angle to said cover, constitutes a guarantee of inviolability of the box since, to access the objects contained therein, the cover must necessarily be torn or cut. Furthermore, once the cover removed for the sale of said objects, they then appear obliquely, since they advantageously rest against the inclined wall of the lateral belt, contributing to a better visual presentation of said objects.

Preferably, said inclined side wall of the belt corresponds to the rear side wall of the box. In this way, after opening said cover, the objects are directly exposed one after the other, and inclined opposite the opposite opposite side wall.

More particularly, the value of said obtuse angle, formed by the bottom and said inclined side wall, is approximately between 100 ° and 120 °.

Indeed, an angle less than 100 ° would be too close to the vertical and would harm the inclined presentation of said objects and the inviolability of the box, while an angle greater than this range would risk causing the sliding of said objects. on the background.

In order to provide maximum visibility of said objects, the front side wall of said belt, opposite to said inclined rear wall, is provided with a notch, making the front face of said first object of the series appear largely.

In particular, said inclined lateral rim of said cover completely covers the inclined lateral wall of said belt. More generally, all of said lateral edges of said cover completely cover the lateral walls of said belt. Thus, as the depth of the cover is approximately identical to that of the side belt, the inviolability of the box is further enhanced.

According to another characteristic of said box, the lateral flanges of said cover, adjacent to the inclined rear and front lateral flanges, are terminated by tabs which are folded against the inclined rear and front walls of said lateral belt, and against which said inclined rear and front lateral flanges of said cover are fixed. Thus, the cover can be removed from the box without damaging the side belt containing said objects, since its side edges are not linked to the side walls of said belt.

To obtain the opening of said box, the cover is provided with a tearable strip. This advantageously extends from the free edge of said front lateral edge, from which it is accessible, to the free edge ending the rear inclined lateral edge of said cover.

The invention also relates to blanks of cardboard, synthetic material or the like for making, by folding, a display and tamper-evident box. More particularly, the first blank comprises a series of at least four flaps articulated to each other around fold lines and intended to form the lateral belt of the box, and provided on the same side of said flaps, with articulated lateral flaps around fold lines and intended to form the bottom of the box, and the second blank, intended to form the cover of the box, comprises a central flap extended by at least four lateral flanges articulated around fold lines.

The blanks are then remarkable, according to the invention, in that one of said end flaps of the first blank is inclined relative to the other flaps of the series, around an oblique fold line, while the other end flap ends in an equally oblique, but symmetrical edge, so that, after folding, the inclined end flap forms an obtuse angle with the side flaps of the bottom of the box, and in that two of the side flanges opposite of said cover, perpendicular to that intended to be applied against the inclined flap of the first blank, have one of their sides which forms an acute angle identical, symmetrical to said obtuse angle, with the fold line connecting it to said central flap, so that, after folding, said lateral flanges of the cover press against all of the lateral flaps of said belt.

Thus, after folding the two blanks, and thanks to the cooperation of the inclined flap, an obtuse angle is obtained, with the inclined edge, of a corresponding acute angle, a tamper-evident box, the opening of which cannot be do so only after tearing off the cover. Furthermore, the inclination of said flap of the lateral belt allows objects previously arranged inside to be presented obliquely.

Advantageously, said inclined end flap of the first blank is extended by a tongue articulated around a fold line parallel to the oblique fold line connecting this end flap to its adjacent flap. In this way, it is possible to fix the belt by gluing by applying the folded tongue against the inclined free edge of the other end flap of the series.

In addition, the flap opposite two by two to said inclined end flap is provided with a notch, and the other two flaps opposite two by two of said series are symmetrically identical.

In a preferred embodiment, the two opposite lateral flanges, at an oblique side, of the second blank are respectively provided, on each side, with lateral tabs, one of the two tabs of each flange being articulated around a oblique fold line corresponding to the oblique side of the flange, forming said acute angle, while the other tongue is articulated around a fold line perpendicular to the fold line connecting the flange to said central flap.

In addition, to ensure the opening of the cover after the production of the box, a tear-off strip is provided on said second blank forming the cover, and extends between the two free edges of the opposite lateral edges, adjacent to the edges with oblique side .

The box 1, shown in Figure 1, is intended to ensure the packaging and presentation of objects 2 illustrated, in this example, in the form of identical parallelepipedic packaging containing articles of clothing, or any other product.

This box can be made of a cardboard material, corrugated or not, synthetic, or even of a complex material, and it comprises a bottom 3, a side belt 4 and a closure cover 5. The side belt 4 has a rectangular section and it then consists of four walls 4A, 4B, 4C and 4D. More particularly, the opposite lateral walls 4A and 4D of the belt correspond, in this particular embodiment, to the walls respectively before and rear of the box, while the other two side and opposite walls 4B and 4C corresponding to its sides, and are moreover identical.

These four walls 4A, 4B, 4C and 4D are extended, on the same side, by flaps 3A, 3B, 3C and 3D respectively, folded around fold lines 6 and forming the bottom 3 of the box. the flaps 3A and 3D from the front walls 4A and rear 4D are substantially identical, as are the flaps 3B and 3C from the walls 4B and 4C. These flaps 3A to 3D are held together by gluing, to constitute the bottom 3.

While the side walls 4A, 4B and 4C of the belt stand vertically, perpendicular to the flaps of said bottom, the rear side wall 4D is inclined at an obtuse angle A relative to the bottom of the box. Advantageously, the series of objects 2 is intended to lean against this rear inclined wall 4D, as shown more particularly in FIGS. 3 and 4, thus allowing them to be exhibited at the time of their sale. Note in FIG. 3 that the rear face 2A of the last object 2 in the series is in abutment against the inclined wall 4D of the box, while the front faces 2B of said inclined objects are opposite the side wall 4A. These objects 2 also rest on the bottom 3 by their edge 2C connecting the rear face 2A to the 2D base of each of them and the first object in the series is in contact with the front wall 4A by its other edge 2E, connecting its 2D base on its front face 2B.

In addition, the front side wall 4A of the belt 4 is provided with a notch 7 thanks to which the interior of the box 1 and, therefore, the objects 2 which are arranged therein, are particularly accessible and visible after the removal of the cover 5, as will be seen later.

About this cover 5, which is capable of closing off the box after the placement of said objects, it comprises a top wall 8 of rectangular section, extended by four lateral edges 9A, 9B, 9C and 9D, folded around fold lines 10 and capable of cooperating with the lateral belt 4. For this, one of the lateral flanges of the cover, more particularly the lateral flange 9D, which is intended to cooperate with the lateral wall 4D, is then inclined by acute angle B with respect to the top wall 8. Thus, the value of this acute angle B must be, with respect to a right angle, symmetrical with the value of said obtuse angle A. For example, in the representation illustrated in the figures 1 and 3, the value of the obtuse angle A is substantially equal to 105 °, so that the value of the acute angle B is then equal to 75 °. The other three lateral edges 9A, 9B and 9C of the cover are in turn perpendicular to the top wall 8.

We also see in Figure 1, that the two side edges, opposite and identical, 9B, 9C have, due to the inclination of the rear edge 9D, a shape of a trapezoid rectangle, and they are extended respectively by hand and d 'other of each of them by tabs 9B1, 9B2 and 9C1, 9C2 folded around fold lines 11A and 11B. Against the tabs located on the same side of these edges, that is to say the tabs 9B1, 9C1 and 9B2, 9C2, the front edges 9A and rear 9D are applied respectively, in particular by gluing, so that the ledges are thus kept in position.

Obviously, the final positioning of the side edges and the tongues of said cover 5 is carried out directly around the side belt 4 of the box already containing said objects. Thus, as shown in Figures 2 and 3, showing the box in the closed position, the closing cover 5 can not be removed from the rest of the box 1, thanks to its side edge 9D, inclined at the acute angle B relative to its top wall 8, and applying, by through the tabs 9B2 and 9C2 to which it is fixed, against the inclined side wall 4D of the obtuse angle A. It is therefore understandable that such an embodiment guarantees the inviolability of the box, since to access said objects, it is then necessary to tear off this cover 5.

Also, to reinforce this inviolability, it is provided that the height of the side edges 9A to 9D is practically identical to that of the side walls 4A to 4D, so that the closure cover 5 completely covers the side belt 4 of the box.

In order to facilitate the opening of the box at the time of the sale of the objects 2, a tearable strip 12 is integrated into the cover 5. More particularly, this strip 12 extends from the middle of the free edge 9A1 of said side edge 9A to 'in the middle of the free edge 9D1 of said inclined lateral rim 9D, passing along the top wall 8 of said cover. The end 12A of the strip 12, leading to the free edge of the flange 9A is precut, so that the cover 5 is easily removed, all the more so as the walls 9B, 9C and the tongues 9B1, 9B2 and 9C1 , 9C2 are not glued to the walls 4A to 4D of the lateral belt 4, but simply in contact with them.

After removing the cover 5 by tearing off the strip 12, the box 1 appears in the open position as illustrated in FIG. 4. Thanks to the inclination of the rear wall 4D, the objects 2 are oriented obliquely, allowing presentation optimal of said objects 2, and better visualization of the indications carried on their front face 2B. While in the embodiment described and illustrated, the box contains a series of objects, it goes without saying that it could contain several series of objects, depending on the dimensions of said objects and of the box.

There is shown opposite Figures 5 and 6 and by way of example, two blanks F1 and F2 allowing, after folding, the realization of the side belt 4 and the bottom 3 of the box, on the one hand, and the cover closing 5, on the other hand. These blanks can be made of corrugated cardboard or not, of synthetic material or of a complex material associating for example a cardboard sheet with a synthetic and / or metallic sheet.

The first blank F1 comprises a series of four flaps 4C, 4A, 4B and 4D corresponding to the side walls of the belt, and hinged together around fold lines. In addition, on the same side of the series of flaps 4C, 4A, 4B and 4D are articulated around fold lines 6 of the side flaps 3C, 3A, 3B and 3D respectively, intended to form the bottom 3 of the box.

More particularly, while the flaps 4C, 4A and 4B are interconnected by parallel fold lines 14, the end flap 4D is articulated with its adjacent flap 4B around an oblique fold line 14A, so that this end flap is inclined relative to the other three aligned flaps of the series. This end flap 4D, intended to define the inclined rear side wall of the box, is further extended by a tongue 4E articulated around a fold line 14B, parallel to the fold line 14A. This tongue 4E is intended to be applied by gluing against the edge of the flap 4C to form the belt 4. Furthermore, the free edge 4C1 of the other end flap 4C of said series is also oblique but symmetrical with the line fold 14A with respect to the parallel fold lines 14. This free edge 4C1 forms with the fold line 6, connecting the flap 4C to the flap 3C, an obtuse angle A, as well as the oblique fold line 14A with the line 6 , connecting the flap 4B to the flap 3B. Consequently, after folding shutters and flaps, the shutter 4D forms an obtuse angle A with the bottom 3.

In addition, the flap 4A which subsequently corresponds to the front wall of the box, is provided with the notch 7.

The second blank F2 comprises a rectangular central flap 8 extended on each side by lateral flanges 9A, 9B, 9C and 9D articulated thereto around fold lines 10. Two of the opposite lateral flanges 9B and 9C, intended to overlap the walls 4B and 4C are identical and are provided on either side with tongues 9B1, 9B2 and 9C1, 9C2 respectively. While the fold lines 11A connecting the tabs 9B1 and 9C1 to the edges 9B and 9C are perpendicular to the fold lines 10 connecting said edges 9B and 9C to the flap 8, the fold lines 11B connecting the tabs 9B2 and 9C2 to the edges 9B and 9C are oblique and form an acute angle B with the fold lines 10 below. The identical flanges 9B and 9C therefore geometrically define identical rectangular trapezoids.

Furthermore, the blank F2 is provided with the tearable strip 12 extending, in its middle, from the free edge 9A1 of the rim 9A, to the free edge 9D1 of the opposite rim 9D.

The production of the box 1 from the two blanks F1 and F2 can be carried out advantageously on machines implementing the process called "Wrap-around", that is to say by winding the blanks around a mandrel forming. Thus, the blank F1 is first folded around the mandrel to make the lateral belt 4 and the bottom 3 of the box, after which the objects 2 are deposited in an inclined manner in the box, then the blank F2 is folded directly around of the side belt of the box to form the closing cover of the box.

Consequently, a tamper-evident box is produced with an oblique presentation of said objects.
