Definitions
- the invention relates to a composite profile made of two metal profile parts and two plastic insulating webs connecting these parts, which are held in grooves of the metal profile parts, the inside of the metal profile parts and the plastic insulating webs delimiting a continuous chamber running in the longitudinal direction of the composite profile, which is filled with a heat-insulating material.
- the chamber running in the longitudinal direction of the composite profile is filled with liquid rigid polyurethane material which, after its expansion and curing, firmly clamps the plastic insulating webs to the metal profile parts.
- the rigid foam formed in the chamber naturally also serves as thermal insulation by preventing heat convection and heat radiation within the chamber.
- the dimensional stability of the composite profile can be impaired by the tensioning of the plastic insulating webs by the foam material, it is difficult to introduce the initially liquid, relatively tough rigid foam material evenly into the chamber of the composite profiles, if these usually have a length of between 6 and 8 m .
- the rigid foam material does not contribute to the shear stiffness of the composite profile.
- the object is achieved in that a bulk material in the form of spherical grains made of mineral or plastic and together with these grains an adhesive binder is filled into the chamber as a heat insulating material, the grains with each other and with the inside of the metal profile parts and the plastic insulating bars connect firmly and shear-resistant, and the binder is a hardenable resin.
- Figure 1 shows a z. B. for the production of windows, doors, facade elements or the like suitable composite profile 1 with an inner metal profile part 2 and an outer metal profile part 3, both z. B. made of aluminum or aluminum alloy.
- the two metal profile parts 2, 3 are by longitudinal plastic insulating webs 4, 5, z. B. made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide.
- the plastic insulating webs 4, 5 form a heat-insulating bridge between the metal profile parts 2, 3.
- the plastic insulating webs 4, 5 protrude with their dovetail-shaped ends 6 in cross-section into appropriately designed, longitudinal grooves 7 of the metal profile parts 2, 3, in which they are held by pressing the wall limbs 8 delimiting these grooves 7 accordingly.
- a chamber 9 running continuously in the longitudinal direction of the composite profile is formed in the finished composite profile between the inner sides of the metal profile parts 2, 3 and the plastic insulating webs 4, 5.
- a bulk material in the form of spherical grains 11 is introduced into this chamber 9 as the heat-insulating material and fills the chamber 9 over the entire length of the composite profile 1. Since the grains 11 are pourable, they can be introduced easily from one of the ends of the composite profile 1.
- the filling material which tightly fills the chamber 9 and consists of the spherical grains 11, prevents a disruptive heat convection flow in the chamber 9 and heat radiation between the chamber walls.
- the spherical grains 11 forming a conventional granulate preferably consist of a mineral or plastic. To reduce their weight, the grains 11 can be designed as porous or as hollow bodies.
- the grains 11 can for example consist of foamed plastic or of silicate, clay or silicate-clay mixtures. Grains 11 made of expanded clay are particularly preferred.
- the grains 11 can be introduced loosely into the chamber 9 if they are prevented from falling out of the chamber 9 by appropriate closures on the end faces of the composite profiles.
- FIG. 2 shows the composite profile before foaming
- FIG. 3 shows the composite profile after foaming of the adhesive, the grains 11 being coated with this adhesive in each case.
- the grains 11 are not coated with a binder. Rather, a binder 13, again in the form of a foamable adhesive, is introduced separately from the grains 11 into the chamber 9 (FIG. 4), which, after foaming (FIG. 5), the grains with one another and with the inner sides of the metal profile parts 2, 3 and Insulating bars 4, 5 firmly arrested.
- a binder 13 again in the form of a foamable adhesive
- the binder 12, 13 can also be a curable resin or a curable plastic.
- the binding agent can be activated to produce its binding function by pressure, temperature, humidity or high-energy rays.
- Suitable binders are, for example, plastics such as polyester, phenol-vinyl or epoxy resins with appropriate hardeners, accelerators, inhibitors and / or thixotropic agents.
- the binder can be opened in the form of a foam are present or contain a blowing agent which leads to foaming of the binder in the chamber 9.
- Suitable blowing agents are CO2 or t-butylhydrazine chloride with ferric chloride.
- the binders 12, 13, e.g. B. Resins can be adjusted so that a firm, shear-resistant connection between the metal profile parts 2, 3 and the plastic insulating webs 4, 5 is achieved via the spherical grains 11.
- the insulating webs 4, 5 no longer have to perform a load-bearing, static function, since this is carried out by the composite body consisting of the grains 11 and the binders 12, 13. Therefore, in particular, the plastic insulating webs 4, 5 can be formed with a smaller wall thickness, which in turn means that less heat can flow through these webs from one metal profile part 2, 3 to the other.
- a modified insulating web in the form of a groove 14 is used, which is formed by integrating two spaced apart plastic insulating webs 4, 5 with a bottom wall 15, for. B. by extrusion.
- the spherical grains 11 coated with adhesive binder 12 are filled into this channel 14 up to the top.
- the z. B. cured from a resin and a hardener binder, so that a rigid composite body is formed. This is inserted between the metal profile parts 2, 3 in the manner shown in FIG. 7.
- the composite profile is then formed by rolling the wall legs 8 onto the channel 14.
- the upper, free, dovetail-shaped ends 6 of the insulating webs 4, 5 could also be connected in one piece by a bottom or top wall 15, so that overall a hollow chamber profile is created, which defines the chamber 9 encloses.
- This hollow chamber profile is then firmly connected to the metal profile parts 2, 3 in the manner shown in FIG. 7 instead of the channel 14.
- the grains 11 and optionally the binder 12, 13 filled will.
- the resins used, from which the grains 11 and the binder 12, 13 can be made also reinforcing fibers, for example in the form of glass or carbon fibers, and also so-called “rovings" can be added.
- the composite profiles 1 always have only a single, longitudinally continuous chamber 9.
- the invention can of course also be applied to composite profiles in which several such chambers 9 are provided next to or above one another between the metal profile parts 2, 3, for example by using several or specifically shaped plastic insulating webs.

Abstract
Description
- Figur 1
- eine schaubildliche Schnittansicht eines Verbundprofils für Fenster, Türen, Fassadenelemente oder dergleichen;
- Figur 2
- eine Teilschnittansicht eines Verbundprofils gemäß Figur 1 mit beschichtetem Füllmaterial;
- Figur 3
- das Verbundprofil aus Figur 2 nach erfolgter gegenseitiger Verbindung der das Füllmaterial bildenden Körner;
- Figur 4, 5
- eine gegenüber Figur 2 und 3 abgewandelte Ausführungsform eines Verbundprofils;
- Figur 6
