Definitions
- the invention relates to a sanding disc according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a generic grinding plate which is provided with a central, pin-like, non-releasable head piece which is connected via a thread to the free end of the output shaft of a grinding machine.
- the head piece is in the form of a disk approximately two thirds of the size of the grinding plate, which runs to the center of the grinding plate in a central pin with a central bore.
- the free end of the output shaft protrudes into the bore.
- This configuration of the head piece makes the sanding plate relatively heavy. Due to the large mass, even small irregularities in the mass distribution have an effect - i.e. Unbalance - extremely strong on the vibration behavior of the grinding plate. Therefore, this grinding plate must be particularly carefully balanced, which is complicated by the fact that the grinding plate must be screwed onto a long threaded pin before it can be operated at the intended minimum speed.
- the grinding plate according to the invention with the characteristic features of claim 1 has the advantage that it is lighter and self-centered exactly with respect to the output shaft, so that no unbalance can occur. This affects the lifespan of the sanding plate and also the grinding machine that is operated with this sanding plate.
- FIG. 1 shows a first exemplary embodiment of a grinding plate with driving shaft
- FIG. 2 shows a perspective, exploded view of the first exemplary embodiment
- FIG. 3 shows a top view of the first exemplary embodiment
- FIG. 4 shows a second exemplary embodiment of a grinding plate with driving element
- FIG. 5 shows a perspective illustration of a Driver according to Figure 4.
- the centrally cut grinding plate 1 shown in FIG. 1 consists of a support plate 3 arranged on its upper side, a cushion 5 arranged on its underside, between which a perforated steel disk 7 serving as a reinforcing part is arranged.
- the cushion 5 carries on its underside a Velcro fastener 9, which is suitable for holding abrasive sheets (not shown) with a velor back or for receiving further intermediate pillows (not shown) with a velor back and Velcro fastener.
- the grinding plate 1 has a plurality of axial openings which serve as dust extraction openings 11 and not with the suction channels shown are assigned to remove the grinding dust.
- a central through bore 13 is aligned with a bore 15 in the steel disk 7 for the passage of a screw 17, with which the grinding plate 1 can be coupled to the grinding machine output shaft so that it can be taken along.
- the cushion 5 has a central recess 19 so that the underside of the steel disc 7 is exposed and the head of the screw 17 can come to rest against it.
- the central recess 19 can be connected to the dust extraction openings 11 by means of radial channels (not shown) in the cushion 5 and thereby serve to remove the dust.
- the support plate 3 carries on its upper side a collar which is arranged concentrically around the through hole 13 and which serves as a centering ring 21.
- the support plate 3 and the steel disk 7 concentrically with the through hole 13 on a common pitch circle three continuous recesses, which serve as tooth engagement holes 23.
- the support plate 3 On its underside, the support plate 3 carries a plurality of annular ribs 35 of different diameters which merge into one another and a plurality of radial ribs which cross the circular ribs and connect them to one another.
- a driver 25, to be axially coupled to the grinding machine output shaft, not shown, consists of a driver shaft 27, which widens on its side facing the grinding plate 1 to a plate-like tooth carrier 29, which has three axially projecting teeth 31 on its circumference.
- the driver 25 is provided with a central threaded bore 33 into which the screw 17 can be screwed in order to hold the grinding plate 1 axially on the driver 25.
- the grinding plate 1 is coupled to the driver 25 in the following way:
- the driver 25 is placed in the centering ring 21 on the upper side of the support plate 3 in such a way that the teeth 31 enter the tooth engagement bores 23 and by means of positive engagement with the driver 25, the grinding plate is rotated 1 effect.
- the inner diameter of the three-part centering ring 21 is only slightly larger than the outer diameter of the Zannnum 29, so that the driver 25 is centered when coupled to the grinding plate 1, radially tightly gripped, arranged and axially fixed by the screw 17 in this position.
- the centering ring 21 also serves as a reinforcing rib on the top of the support plate 3.
- the exploded view of the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1 shown in FIG. 2 illustrates the arrangement and functioning of the teeth 31 with the tooth engagement bores 23. It is also clear that the steel disc 7 is continuously penetrated by the tooth engagement bores 23 and the central through bore 13 and that it acts as a captive washer and as a stiffening part for the grinding plate 1 at the same time. In addition, the steel disc 7 can absorb transmission forces of the teeth 31 and transmit them gently to the grinding plate 1.
- the top view of the grinding plate 1 shown in FIG. 3 shows that the centering ring 21 is divided into three ring segments 23.
- the segmentation of the centering ring 21 can be explained by the arrangement of the three tooth engagement bores 23 beyond the inner diameter of the centering ring 21, by an engagement in the contour thereof.
- the exemplary embodiment of a grinding plate 41 shown in FIG. 4 differs from that of FIGS. 1, 2 and 3 primarily by the configuration of the coupling area between the grinding plate 41 and the grinding machine output shaft or by the configuration of the centering ring 61 and the driver 65 1
- the sanding plate 41 is composed of: support plate 43, cushion 45, steel disc 47, Velcro fastener 9, dust extraction openings 51, central through-hole 53, hole 55, screw 57, central recess 59, centering ring 61.
- the driver 65 is composed of: driver shaft 67, tooth carrier 69, tooth 71, threaded bores 73.
- the centering ring 61 has a conical surface 62 on the inside, which is profiled like a gearwheel and into which the bevel gearwheel-shaped conical surface on the end face 64 of the driver 65 can be positioned, self-centering.
- the cone surface 62 is dimensioned such that when the driver 65 is inserted, a cavity 66 remains, into which, depending on the state of wear of the cone surface 62 or depending on the pretensioning force caused by the screw 57, the driver 65 can plunge more or less deeply.
- the cavity 66 also forms an escape space for grinding dust that may accumulate, to which dust ejection openings (not shown) are connected.
- the steel washer 47 is designed here only as a washer and is captively pressed, foamed or glued into the central recess 59. The steel disc 47 is not used here for the rotary driving between the driver 65 and the grinding plate 41.
- the driver is shown in perspective as a detail and illustrates its bevel gear-like configuration in the manner of a negative impression of the conical surface 62 of the centering ring 61.
- the tooth flanks or impressions 63 of the conical surfaces 62 shown here arched can also be designed as right-angled notches if particularly high torques are to be transmitted from the output shaft to the grinding plate 41.
- a rib-like configuration of the support plate 43 analogous to FIG. 1 is not shown.
- the grinding plate has only two tooth engagement holes and the centering ring of the grinding plate is divided in the vicinity of the tooth engagement holes and consists of two segments.
- the associated driver carries two axially projecting teeth in accordance with the number of two tooth engagement bores, the reasonable minimum number for a reliable function and simple manufacture of the driver.
- the driver is freely rotatably coupled to the grinding machine shaft or to an eccentric pin that is rotationally fixedly coupled to it via a roller bearing.

Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung geht aus von einem Schleifteller nach der Gattung des Anspruchs 1.The invention relates to a sanding disc according to the preamble of
From DE-OS 27 59 694 a generic grinding plate is known, which is provided with a central, pin-like, non-releasable head piece which is connected via a thread to the free end of the output shaft of a grinding machine. The head piece is in the form of a disk approximately two thirds of the size of the grinding plate, which runs to the center of the grinding plate in a central pin with a central bore. The free end of the output shaft protrudes into the bore. This configuration of the head piece makes the sanding plate relatively heavy.
The grinding plate according to the invention with the characteristic features of
