Description
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Nockendrehschalter gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1. Derartige Nockendrehschalter finden hauptsächlich in Haushaltgeräten Anwendung, wobei die zahlreichen, neuerdings geforderten Schaltmöglichkeiten immer mehr Schaltkontakte erfordern, die gleichzeitig oder selektiv geschaltet werden müssen. So wird von einem modernen Elektroherd heute gefordert, daß er Oberhitze, Unterhitze, großen Grill, kleinen Grill, Heißluft und eine Mikrowelle aufweist, die auch wieder mit den konventionellen Beheizungsarten kombiniert werden muß.The invention relates to a rotary cam switch according to the preamble of claim 1. Die hohe Zahl von Schaltkontakten begünstigt Zwischenstellungen, d.h. die Nockenwelle kann bewußt oder unbewußt in einer labilen Zwischenstellung gehalten werden. Normalerweise hat ein Drehwahlschalter eine Rastung, bestehend aus einem Raststern, einer Druckfeder und einer Rastrolle bzw. einem Raststößel, wie dies in Fig. 1 der Zeichnung schematisch dargestellt ist. Die vielen Schaltkontakte, die durch eine Nockenwelle oder durch eine Nockenscheibe betätigt werden, erfordern eine sehr starke Druckfeder in der Rastung. Durch eine solche verstärkte Druckfeder kann zwar die Rastung etwas verbessert werden, jedoch können labile Zwischenstellungen, insbesondere in dem Bereich, in dem sich die Spitze des Raststerns über der Rastrolle bzw. dem Raststößel bewegt, nicht verhindert werden. Eine starke Druckfeder bedeutet aber auch eine hohe Betätigungskraft, die gerade bei modernen Elektrogeräten unerwünscht ist.Due to the numerous switch contacts that such a rotary selector switch must have, exact locking with simple means is becoming increasingly difficult. Dadurch, daß sich das Verriegelungsglied zusammen mit dem Raststößel quer bewegen kann ergibt sich ein zusätzliches Drehmoment, welches zunächst der Drehbewegung der Nockenwelle entgegenwirkt und die Drehung dann unterstützt, wobei die Zwischenstellungen dazwischen schnell und zuverlässig überwunden werden können. - Fig. 2 eine der Fig. 1 entsprechende Teilschnittansicht eines erfindungsgemäß ausgebildeten Drehwahlschalters in Raststellung;
- Fig. 3 eine der Fig. 2 entsprechende Teilschnittansicht kurz vor Erreichen der Schnappstellung;
- Fig. 4 eine entsprechende Teilschnittansicht nach Überschreiten der Schnappstellung.

Beim Stande der Technik und bei dem Erfindungsgegenstand weist die Rastung eine im Sockelgehäuse 10 angeordnete Rastkammer 12 quadratischen Querschnitts auf, deren Achse 14 die Achse 16 der Nockenwelle senkrecht schneidet. In der Rastkammer ist der aus Zapfen 18 und Kappe 20 bestehende Raststößel axial verschiebbar gelagert, wobei die Kappe 20 in der die Rastkammer 12 bildenden Bohrung geführt ist. Auf dem Zapfen 18 ist eine Druckschraubenfeder 22 aufgezogen, die sich am Grund der Bohrung und an der Kappe 20 von unten her abstützt und den Raststößel gegen den Raststern 24 vorspannt. In der aus Fig. 1 ersichtlichen Stellung greift die Kappe, die auch als Kugel ausgebildet sein kann, in eine entsprechende Vertiefung des sechszackigen Raststerns ein. Bei einer Verdrehung der Nockenwelle im Uhrzeigersinn oder im Gegenuhrzeigersinn wird der Raststößel 18, 20 über den entsprechend abgerundeten Zahn des Raststernes nach unten gedrückt, bis nach einer Winkeldrehung von 30° eine labile Gleichgewichtsstellung erreicht wird, in der die Stößelachse 14 die Spitze des entsprechenden Rastzahnes 26 trifft. In dieser labilen Schaltstellung kann die Nockenschalterwelle bzw. In der Raststellung gemäß Fig. 2 schneidet wiederum die Achse 14 des Raststößels die Achse 16 der Nockenwelle im wesentlichen rechtwinklig. Wenn aus dieser Stellung heraus die Nockenwelle im Uhrzeigersinn bewegt wird, dann schiebt der betreffende Rastzahn 26 die Rastkappe (oder Rastrolle, oder Rastkugel) in die aus Fig. 3 ersichtliche Stellung. Dabei ist über den Raststößel bzw. dessen Kappe der linke Schenkel der Blattfeder ausgelenkt und stößt an der linken Wand der Erweiterung an. In üblicher Weise ist durch den Zahn 26 auch der Stößel gegen die Wirkung der Schraubenfeder 22 nach unten verschoben. In dieser Stellung gemäß Fig. 3 liegt die Spitze des Rastzahnes 26 in der Nähe der Koppe des Raststößels und bei Weiterdrehung springt der Raststößel durch Entspannung des linken Schenkels der Blattfeder nach rechts und damit wird der Raststößel auf die andere Flanke des Raststerns gedrückt (Fig. 4). Aus dieser Stellung gemäß Fig. 4 kann die Druckfeder 22 den Stößel in die aus Fig. 2 ersichtliche Raststellung überführen, wobei der gemäß Fig. 4 durch Ausbiegung nach rechts vorgespannte rechte Schenkel der U-förmigen Blattfeder die Schalterwellenbewegung in diesem Endabschnitt unterstützt.Attempts have been made to avoid the occurrence of such intermediate positions by reinforcing the spring and designing the locking star accordingly.
